    I wouldn’t say that is a replacement for Stocking stitch but it’s very beautiful! I will have to try it on a shawl. ❤

    Wenn ich als erste Reihe eine Linksreihe stricke dann habe ich die Zweite Reihe eine Musterreihe und das ganze von vorn dadurch sehe ich besser was auf der Vorderseite passiert. So gefällt mir das Muster sehr gut und werde es auch garantiert nach stricken

    So pleased to see ‘Lace Tip’ needles. (Regular needles are like trying to knit with squared off wooden dowels.) Niw if she’d just graduate to circular needles she’d have the best of it.

    • @hermellygirl
      @hermellygirl Год назад +1

      It’s called combined knitting. It’s continental style, but the purls are made in such a way that the purl stitches are made on the needle what most people would call “backwards.” So on the next row you have to be careful to knit into the leg of the stitch that is in the back or you will twist your stitches.

    A very nice pattern but not a replacement for stocking stitch. The video takes a bit too long if shown with half the umber of stitches it would have been would take less rime to watch but thanks for the pattern

    If you don't turn it all around at the end of the row, you can just knit backwards with your other hand. No need to count anything.

      Exactly what I thought - there are many times when you want a smooth finish, This is just using one of many, many decorative slip stitches on the purl side.. Also if the author wanted people to use it, a written description and the # (even or odd) of stitches to cast on is necessary. It's a decorative 4 row repeat - simple

    2 ряд связали не верно.На схеме 2 пустые клеточки-это 2 лицевые....потом , накид, и 2 изнаночные петли.и накид перекинуть через 2 изнаночные....И узор получится совсем другой...

    Hardly a replacement... stocking stitch - knit one row, turn, purl the next.
    This ... knit through the back loop, turn, purl two, YO, purl two, slip the YO over the previous two....
    One is simple and the other complicated!

    No es un reemplazo del punto jersey. Es muy lindo pero es muy diferente.
    Deberías explicar con más claridad esa lazada de lana que pasás sobre de la aguja sin tejerla.
    Cuando era joven he tejido bastante y así y todo me costó comprender que era lo que estabas haciendo. Me imagino que para una principiante todavía debe ser más difícil de entenderlo. No porque sea un punto complicado, si no porque no se ve claramente lo que estás haciendo.
    Para que ponés 35 puntos si con 20 alcanza y sobra ?!?!?
    Cada vuelta resulta interminable🤦🏻‍♀️
