What a refreshing, heartwarming experience to randomly find this video in my recommendations and giving it a watch! It's just such a rare occurrence now-a-days to see a young man just sit down, and devote his attention to nothing but the beauty of melody and harmony - allowing himself to feel the raw emotion that sound can produce within our brains! While I totally enjoy listening to rap, pop, hip-hop, techno and other modern music, there's just something about classical music that can evoke emotions other kinds of music cannot touch. I really wish there were more people like yourself, as this is the kind of content that serves as a 'reason' for younger people to listen to classical music by watching your video - and seeing your reactions combined with the beauty of the melody, can be the spark that lights up a life-long love for classic. Thank you for playing a part in keeping this wonderous music alive
Gidi we need the following nocturnes from Chopin: Opus 48 number 1 in C minor; Opus 55 number 1 in F minor. I'm sure you'll love them 100%. Also don't forget the waltzes I mentioned a few videos ago
@@ViktorRadoslavov yeah, the piano is the star, but the orchestra is a little left behinf that's why. I mean in my head I'm comparing it to Rach, so that might be a little unfair
@@4ss4ss1n5 Ok, compared to Rach, yes the orchestra is a bit in the background. It often echoes the piano motifs and serves as a background operator, compared to, for example, Rach's infamous 2nd concerto, where the orchestra and piano are cohesively portraying the story and emotion. However, and it is a big however. In the context of Chopin and Romantic era, his concertos are peak piano composition in my opinion. Yes, there is the caveat of "yea but if you ignore the orchestra its really good" which I will agree defeats the purpose of a concerto. (But I will never argue Chopin to be the best composer, period. But I will argue for him being the best piano composer). The notes written for the piano are such interesting and complex ideas that I just can't help but idolize them. Even though the orchestra serves its basic and there aren't mindblowing melodies coming from it, to me they are still peak Chopin.
I think Chopin really hit the nail in the head with his first nocturne. It's definitely one of my favorite ones, (favorite is op.48 no 1) and it's also pretty fun to play.
Hi Gidi, these pieces, and others you have been listening to recently, are reminders that music is a vehicle that can take us to places where wheels and wings cannot go.
27:38 It’s because Chopin was started try to define a new meaning of Nocturne, you can hear some painful emotion since op.9 no.3 and op.15 no.1.Chopin thought Nocturne was not only calm and relax but also about sad emotion in the heart,so he usually put a storm in the middle part.
Classical music reaction video is not a common thing on RUclips 😂😂 and i love your reaction. And yes im a big fan of Chopin and classical music in general 😀😀
If you like these nocturnes, you maybe like the ones from John Field, an Irish composer, predecessor of Chopin. The best of his nocturnes are the numbers 1, 2 and 18. ruclips.net/video/Uktj2MYSsaU/видео.html
So for the first one you listened to (op.9 no.3), it is in a A-B-A structure! (B major-B minor-B major). If you want to see how it was possible, I recommend you to watch SeeMusic’s version of it. It is in synthesis form (you can see lights of the notes fall down from the top to the keyboard on your screen!)
Op 48 n 1 is my favorite, and I actually played it for my piano exam this year! It was a bit above my level because the last section is sooo hard, but I was so motivated to play it because it's so beautiful.
Same here, I feel very related to Chopin, and by the way this is not something new as Oscar Wilde the great English poet once said that when he plays Chopin on the piano he feels someone else’s sadness and sentiments that are not his own ! I think Mr Wilde has summed it up !
Just found out your channel! I love it dude, keep it up! Also, could you please react to Rachmaninoff's 2nd and 3rd piano concertos? They are both so good! Also, one more recommendation, Rachmaninoff's Fantaisie Tableaux, it is one of my favorite classical pieces ever!
So excited for you to listen to Chopin's Nocturne in C minor Op. 48 No 1!!
oh this one hits haaaaard!!!

There are 2 nocturnes in C minor. One of them is Posthumous, and some people used to say that the manuscript was forged. It's beautiful.
