When running the jumper from pin b on c101 to pin b c105 correct me if I'm wrong but nothing is unpinned, you just have a jumper that connects both wires.

Ok this video is old how much will you charge to build a harness?
Made me cringe when you put the thread lock into the plastic. Thread locker will destroy plastic, my son found this out when he tried to use it on a drone that he built for a college project. I hope this didnt end up affecting the intake.

were you able to use the v6 radiator fans for your swap or did you have to get ls1 fans?
Only thing the v6 radiator dosent have is the provision for a line that goes to the coolant steam port so if you buy an adapter or something to get the hose ran for the steam port it should work don’t know how well it will cool but I don’t see why it would cool decently!
I used a v8 car radiator and fans cause I got a deal on one
What differential did you use? Did you use the v6 diff?
Yep the v6 rear ends a realistically the same just non posi
@@rocnrollgarage And some of them have the posi. Look for rpo code g80 for the posi and gu6 is the rpo for the 3.42 gears which, believe it or not , some of them came with

Could you swap a ls7 into a v6 3.8? And would I need a different k member or a special mount or what?
Realistically the LS7 should work, you would need the v8 ls1 camaro and or firebird k member. If you go watch my previous video where I put the engine and trans in the car I explain all the stuff about the k member and the suspension

Well Facebook market place is your friend you can find a lot of stuff on the 4th gen f body pages on there also, and literally all the suspension off the v6 cars work on the v8 k member except the steering rack, tie rod ends are the same though, like I said all that stuff is in my previous video on this. But any questions keep ‘em comin!
I've been thinking about putting a 5.3 in my 96 RS. I've noticed that hooker makes some motor mounts especially for the V6 to V8 swap, but I haven't seen any reviews or comments about them. The mounts are about half the price as a whole new k member.
@@rocnrollgaragehey man is there anyway you can tell me about those plugs on the fender .. do I splice them in to the wires coming from my pcm or only use certain ones ? I would appreciate it man if you could help me out at all ..
what ecm are you using?
I used an ls1 ecu and harness
On a 5.3 motor correct
