EC130/H130 pilot here. Nice video! Just thought it was worth mentioning that the ACH130 is identical to the EC130T2 in every way except with a VIP interior. They are also not certified to fly IFR. They are VFR-only aircraft, even with the avionics featured in this video. They are great helicopters though!
I love the EC 130, flew in one in Kauai , HI....I have flown in AS350B2's and jetrangers as well.. This one is my Fav ! Is this line also known as the Eco-Star ? Is Airbus owned by Eurocopter?
@@WingsRotors-RUclips You are correct, the EC130/H130 is also called the Eco-Star, a play on the Astar name that makes it sound economical, although I think that's more of a marketing term. I've usually only heard it in advertising. And it's actually the other way around - Eurocopter is owned by Airbus. Aerospatiale became Eurocopter in 1992, and then it was acquired a few years ago by Airbus. The EC130B4 and early EC130T2 models were manufactured by Eurocopter, then when Airbus took over, they made some upgrades to the design and standardised some terminology and components to match the rest of their helicopter lineup and called it the H130.
