I was about to buy a Manish Malhotra lipstick.... You saved my money....
Don't buy the Manish Malhotra line they are bad... Even their liquid lipstick is not great...
I had bought one and it was really bad. The packaging is great. Price, expensive. It has a very sticky feel. Wears off after a drink. Basically, MM line is a BS!!
My glamm lippies are grt but the manish m range is disappointg

The masaba lipstick packaging is an exact copy of the Sephora collection lipsticks, except they have different prints on the packaging. Things like this unfortunately go so unnoticed, and "big brands" like Nykaa are doing it shamelessly.
Nykaa's Matte lipsticks are literally water colours idk why no one's calling them out on it. Some water soluble rangeela water colours shit 😭

Actually. Even nye bae shakti liquid lipsticks r opaque and stays for longer time than nykaa one...I have misti,kashi,madras kappi.but staying power is very poor

@@drnandinidas5478 I'm talking about the Nykaa So Matte! Lipsticks, the bullet ones. I got the shades Sugar Plum Martini and Regal Ruby, it BLEEDS as soon as it touches water/saliva. The liquid lipsticks are still manageable, but these were just a waste of money 😪
Masaba's collection is hyped, I feel. The nail paints r a massive disappointment.

I had once stumbled upon a Manish Malhotra MY Glamm store in a mall. I asked them the price and why they were so overpriced, they said, "because it's Manish Malhotra" and that's all the selling point they used. I knew right then, it would be a money grab and nothing else.

Hey Aparna, loving this content which is so helpful since makeup isn’t cheap, like you mentioned previously. I had the same issue with sugar lipsticks from the much raved about nothing else matter range. The formula just sat like a layer on my lips, and started piling at the corners. Not just that, it faded very quickly in a patchy manner which was embarrassing.
Also I noticed that you didn’t feature the Masaba lipstick on your channel yet, even though you had mentioned that you were testing it out. Now I understood why and really appreciate your honesty. Please keep up the good work.
Completely agree with you on the Sugar Mettle Matte Lipsticks! I recently bought Soteria, and absolutely LOVED the shade, but was so disappointed with the pigmentation, formula and longevity. I’ve been trying to find a dupe for it, but haven’t been able to get the exact shade down Pat. The closest I’ve found are MAC’s Whirl and Nykaa’s Luxe Matte in Truffle. If you happen to come across a better dupe for it in your collection, I’d be all ears!
That said, thank you for the helpful video. I’ve been curious about the Masaba Lipsticks since its launch, so that’s a bit of a bummer to hear. Would still love to see a swatch video if you’d be up for it. Thanks girl, and take care!

Sugar cosmetics crayon lipsticks are the best. Rest all lipstick either too drying or less pigmentation. Since last one year Iam in love with colorbar sinful matte..

Even I love the shade I have (Lyssa) from that range. It's a burgundy kind of shade and no real issue with pigmentation. Feels so comfortable on the lips.
I haven't used these but for me the Sugar Smudge Me Not liquid lipstick, MyGlamm LIT liquid lipstick and the most loved by all the Maybelline Creamy Matte lipstick didn't work at all. Liquid ones made my lips super dry while the creamy mattes were a bit waxy. 💔

Wasted my money on MANISH MALHOTHRA LIPSTICK😭 Shade VINTAGE WINE.. OMG it was teribble.. pigmentation was ok ok not at all long lasting and big Nooooooooooo for special occasions..

out of all the brands, i feel sugar stands out because for me it was a go to lipstick be it daily wear or any occasion. I love most of their colors if not all and the bright colors does make my face more fair and elegant

Among all these I have only sugar mettle matte lipstick in the shade lyssa the darkest of them all its dark maroonish shade and the colour payoff of that particular shade is mind blowing. And I am quite happy with that.😄 And thank god i didn't purchased any of these disappointing lipstick 😅😅😅😁

Masaba nimbuu pani is my fav shade it suits very on nc40 and nc42. Formula is normal nothing great

Please make one with best formulation. Velvet, powder, satin etc. So we can actually invest in some good lipsticks. There is no content with different types of finish.

I so agree with your review of Manish Malhotra, Sugar and Masaba lipsticks. I had the same experience and had to give away/discard all of them. Another brand with a good packaging but pathetic quality is my glam Pose lipsticks. The lipsticks have sand like rough granules which is so discomforting when applying on the lips.

I have the same shade of Manish Malhotra burnt red with shipping charges it costs me around 950 hardly used 2 times .even after applying four times you can't get the shade on your lips

Hi Aparna... I came across your RUclips channel recently and really love the content. Among the products featured in this particular video, I have a Manish Malhotra in the same shade as yours. I found it more like a color crayon. The formula is so hard and irritates the lips due to the sheer number of swipes needed to bring out some color. Worst lip product I ever came across... I love the Masaba lipstick in the shade Rawr, cause it's really the only lipstick I ever owned where my husband without fail every single time I wear it mentions how nice my lipstick looks that day. I also have Cool Gay and Buzzkill. They're okok, not great, but ok.
True, the consistency is a bit waxy and I'm sure the pigmentation quality won't hold up on all skin tones, which is not okay for the price. But the fact that it's one of the few products that never fails to a) catch hubby's attention and b) comment positively... I'll keep repurchasing it XD

that manish malhotra lipstick is weird because tho it is not matte the shade i got is old rose i love the color its stays well on lips as tint after 4hrs ..but the lipstick melted and broken ... little disappointed but i like the formula as i have dry lips

I have two lipstick from Masaba collection. Nimbu paani and cool guy. Yes they are matte. Highly pigmented but doesn’t stay on at all. Cool guy is light bubble gum pink , application is chappy on lips. It cracks.
I expected their formula to be as good as their nail polish range which stands out as Masaba.

Hello mam... thanks for the video.. I have sugar mettle Matt lipstick ( lyssa03)...it is really not upto the mark...you are right mam...and I have other 2 lipsticks which disappointed me😐😐. Lakme absolute argan oil lipstick (chocolate brownie) and myglam liquid lipstick (slow fade)..
