Hey Deepak, Sometimes it will be mentioned in the question that what you want to find. Usually, when nothing is mentioned, we go for the total surface area. But, for eg., if we have a hollow pipe and we've asked to calculate the total surface area here, it will be nothing but the curved surface area only.
