I loved house and progressive house tracks because DJs and party goers were patient in waiting for the track to develop and you could feel the drive. Today a lot of tracks are stripped down "tools" for DJs.
It's not that as such, it's that we back in the day got fed up trying to mix weird fucking records and the young team who came up behind us refined it.
@@noel_savage_dota1436 um, if you call "refining" as being dj fodder mix thru tracks... there is a reason no one actually dances to dance music, they forgot to put the party in the party music.
also the tracks were produced in a way that allowed long mixes, nowadays there's a breakdown and rise every 30 seconds or the tracks don't have any intro or outro
TWILO classic , for those who knew the heavenly place known as twilo on W27th street NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!People would be there from all over the world!
@@brettkoehler3003 Both Dannys deliver. Saw Tenaglia do some marathon sets. Always was fun. But Howells came into NYC and played an 8 hour set and played nearly flawlessly. Today is 6th of Nov. The date of my birthday and I'm 27 and going to have a big party with this killer track at the weekand. :-D Have a great day for everybody! Respect from Hungary!

Been to Budapest in 2015. It was pretty cleaned up and sanitized for the most part in the tourist areas but I can only imagine it back in the late 90s. Must have been crazy.
What the fuck....I'm 56 now, and i thought since years the good old times are gone icnluding the feelings... But last night I'm just clickin arround a bit and hit the right one.. and at 1:9 anything was back ...Yes....yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,.....

I so need to play this tune so so much it hurts,, I mean vinyl to diamond .. Roaches - Peace Division mix was always finding its way to the decks… I’ve just listened to Sparc by Future Shock and straight away heard ‘Roaches’. I desperately need to set up my 1210’s etc and get zoned . . but first I need somewhere to call home. P E A C E
Man I get tingles every time I hear this track it takes me back to 3 or 4 am on a Sunday smoke filled floor, fuck those was the days my friends oh I wished they didn't end❤🎉❤🎉
TWILO classic , for those who knew the heavenly place known as twilo on W27th street NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!People would be there from all over the world! its on Sasha and Digweed's "communicate"
Back in the day, I heard peace division were coming to Derby, I called the office and left a message to say I was going, looking forward to meeting PD. on the night, I turned up and met those guys. There was a slight look of disappointment when they realised I was just a fan. The guy gave me a bunch of records-roaches on white label was one, and invited me up to the stage. I partied like a total nutter, gf even managed to keep hold of the records. "and on that note, let's get back to the program"
Timeless. Look when this video posted and how strong it is still today. On Anthony Pappa's NuBreed from Global Underground. Was his set the first NuBreed?
Underground will live forever baby. We're just like Roaches, never die, always living. On that note lets get back to the programme

Word! Never forget Sasha blowing the North Atlanta Trade Center floor away with this one. Still super sick.

Best of all times
Our anthem
One of the biggest crossover tunes of 2000. Pretty much everyone was playing it.
Played it every week. Lol.
