Funny story. A few years back a student I taught who goes to a southern Baptist Church was asked by our African American principal to come sing at their church. I asked him the next Monday morning what he thought of their church. He said "They opened up with 'Hold To God's Unchanging Hand' which I've heard my whole life but never like that. I couldn't even sing along. We sat with our principal and his wife and about 3 lines into the song she jumped up out of her seat, threw her arms up in the air, went WOOOO!!! and started dancing like crazy. Never seen anything like that in my baptist church." LOL! We white folks could learn a thing or two about worshipping the Lord from folks like that.
