As someone who’s already on their late 20’s and just starting out with art, this is the BEST tutorial channel. I’ve been trying to watch other channels but they make it seem so complicated, so you simplifying things makes it easier to learn the basics. Thank you so much for this!

As someone who’s almost 19 and hasn’t really drawn, it feels disheartening to see other artists talk about how they started drawing art as a kid. Seeing all these people talk about how they’re learning from this course as adults makes me feel so much better about my own work, and the course is clear and instructive. Thanks for doing such great work.

I never thought about looking at everything as shapes or spacing facial features, I just did trial and error for everything. This is my first time watching a tutorial this fun, this is awesome, I'm the type of person who wants to stay awake while doing something but tends to always fall asleep and while watching tutorials I tend to fall asleep even if I'm so excited to learn. You see I like to draw in a anime/ manga type style, and this still helps even though he’s teaching the basics with a cartoon type style. I’ve never really seen anyone who makes tutorials like this. He makes the tutorials fun and entertaining while still giving the most important parts of the topic and showing tips and some other ways of doing things. I’ve only watched some of his videos and I can already tell he’s a great art teacher and wants to help others to understand the basics of shapes when drawing.
I've seen other videos on how to draw heads and the placement of facial features but this video is the one of the best because of how well explained it is! I actually understand why we are placing things where they go and not just watching and copying what someone else does without understanding why. This is one of the best drawing lessons I've found!

ive been looking for youtube lessons on how to draw cartoon heads.. and this video explained it so well! ive already watched a few other lessons but this is the first time ive heard of cutting the sides of the circle to outline the head. amazing lesson!

this is so helpful. i knew the basic concept of a head that draw a circle and then the curved lines but had no idea what the concept was behind the lines and what they represented. i understand so much better now
