I legit would hang out with the chickens I had when they were little, and it would evolve into them being fully grown on my lap, shoulders, even my head.

Watching chickens graze is very therapeutic, I lived on a farm for most of my childhood and teens, probably spent half my childhood watching my chickens.

I love having chickens around. My daughter has a farm and my favorite thing to do there is to collect warm brown eggs from under their soft toasty tummies.

It's the type of unimaginable horror that you can only film with a hidden camera. It goes against all our basic human values. Our ancestors have domesticated these animals for a long time but what is taking place today is not at all like that. It is no longer human conscience guiding decisions, but rich corporations and stakeholders that only see 💲 at all costs.
I tried eggs that my relatives gave us and they taste way better than the eggs at the store. Yup. Eggs laid by home raised free range chickens taste way better. You can taste the happiness.
Plot twist: The chicken, which jumped at the person's lap, is actually KickinChicken, and he wants to ask a person recording this, if he/she wants to go outside and hang out with him.

We chose this breed because they are pretty good egg layers and also pretty good meat birds as well, although we aren't currently planning on ever eating them. They are also known to have a good temperament an are more friendly than many other breeds. The Rooster is a cross breed but he looks to have a large amount of Buff Orpington in him.
Next step recreate my profile. XD Had a rooster who never interacted with me jump on my lap putting his head under his wing and just slept didnt care if i touched him it was surprising. The chicken in my profile did it daily even demanding cuddles and when i ignored her she pecked at my pants and when i still didnt gave her attention she pecked harder and harder. I miss her. Thanks for sharing such a sweet moment im glad to see that others earn theire trust.
I love chickens I have this memory at college we were doing a animal care assignment on chicken handling, as the teacher was explaining a chicken walked right up next to me, I said to myself no I’m not taking the easy route I’m going to do this for real, then the cute thing decided to sit and lean into my leg, so I just went screw it and I picked up the chicken and held it for the whole assignment, most calm loveable thing didn’t even fight it just sat under my arm, no one else was able to grab one but me :)
I am sure the chick felt that lap is comfy place to be and clearly that notion was reinforced. I wish more people enriched their poultry they are, like every domesticated animal, smarter than we give them credit for.
I know I'm vehemently against the atmosphere of this comment section but all I can think of by watching this video is wow they look freaking mouthwatering even in their pre-cooked state seriously look at that marvelous color pattern it's like they are there to be seen as tasty as possible
