And now comes the sad part. Today marks the 3rd anniversary of Cory Allan Michael Monteith. So in honor of today, I created this video, mostly because if I made one just for him I wouldn’t have finished it because of all the tears clouding my vision. I didn’t know Cory, but I felt like I did. People become attached to certain people in the world because they inspire them, and that’s how I felt about him. I believe that this is by far the best video I will ever create and by a long shot the most important video to me. When I was finishing up the last couple of minutes of this very I started sobbing (even though I did that throughout the process of it) because it kind of felt like I could see how much Glee meant to me and to who I am today. Glee was my first fandom and Finn and Rachel was my first OTP. The love between Finn and Rachel wasn’t perfect, but it showed me what real love was like. Cory and Lea were and still are my two role models in life and in love. Glee was the show that taught me everything I know. How to be brave, smart but still a little stupid sometimes, to dream, to be accepting of everyone no matter what race, gender, or sexual orientation they have, and most of all how to be me. Glee will always have a special place in my heart and will always mean something to me because it made me, me. And I cannot give the amount of gratitude or justice that it deserves in a video or an infinite amount of words.

Let's be honest, we all know Finchel is Endgame. Even tho she ends up with Jesse, we all know they're Endgame. Our Endgame.
Fun fact: the life Rachel said she'd had planned? Her going back, and hes a teacher and she says 'I'm home'? That was actually the original ending for Glee. They were actually meant to be endgame, but after Cory's sad passing, the writers had to work around it. Jesse was never actually supposed to be with her in the end, it was just that he was a character who could conveniently help wrap up her story.

It is sad she can’t be with Cory, but we don’t want her to Morn and be sad all her life. So it’s good she’s with someone else even if it’s not him because she’s happy and now she will have a family! Because she can’t be sad all her life over him, cause when you face the facts he is gone so it’s good she’s going to have a family and she’s married.
This made me cry so hard. It kills me that he is gone. We all know that if Cory was stille alive, him and Lea would be married right now, and Finchel would have been endgame on Glee, like the writers had obviously planned.

it hurts because things could’ve been different. if someone went home with him that day or just called him to check up on him when he was at home, things could’ve potentially went in a completely different route. maybe he would’ve still been here today, and it hurts knowing that. yes, i didn’t know him personally, i’m just a fan of glee, but it breaks my heart knowing that it really is the little things in life that can save someone.
I felt so sad watching this, knowing he's not here anymore and thinking how their love would have been the end game in real life. You can feel their love just watching this and how crazy they were for one another. Thank you for uploading this. Creating this just have been hard....

Wow, well said, Syeda! I would give just about anything for Cory to still be here, for him and Lea to be married with babies, living their best lives. It's horrible that this didn't happen. Cory gave so much more to the world than he took. Why him? I wish he'd been given better addiction treatment - treatment that emphasized evidence-based modalities rather than old-school approaches that work for some but not most. We know so much more know about effective treatment than we did in 2013, especially about the importance of harm reduction. Ugh, I want to scream! Whatever. He's gone, but he'll never be forgotten. We love you always, Cory. Team Monchele forever!

Why
This is the best tribute to them. What I love are the scenes when they started dating in real life because all the words, kisses, and looks were mostly real. In season 3, most of the Finchel kisses weren't scripted, which I think is adorable. They will be endgame. Watching these videos makes me hope that there is a Heaven because those two need to be reunited. This is the BEST edit I have ever seen so thank you so much for making it.

I really didn’t expect to tear up-but they *were* Glee. All of the controversy surrounding the show and Lea aside, it was clear from Day 1 that she loved Cory and he loved her and they were electric as Finn and Rachel. They defined a generation and their reel and real love story is preserved in this technicolor quirky outlandish show.
I’m crying. I want somebody to love me the way that Finn/Cory loved Rachel/Lea. Their relationship was just my favorite. Amazing video!

a couple months back i was looking for this video because i needed some reassurance about love. this was/ still is, my favorite edit. when i couldn’t find i literally freaked out. i’m so so so happy it’s back.
The fact that this makes me cry so much but I always come back to watch it. Finn and Rachel....Coey and Lea..forever ENDGAME. I admire cory's spirit. One thing remains and will never change that their story was one to know. as much as i still love glee and come back to rewatch it, i have never felt that aura I used to feel before season 5 episode 3. Finn was their weapon and till this day remains. The way he loved Rachel and the way they smiled at each other was just magic literally no other word to describe them other than endgame

“I love you.” words so simple yet so complicated. what is love? there’s no word to describe love. just the feeling that you can’t help but smile when someone says there name or that feeling of the tiny voice saying “hey, maybe its all be okay” each time you see they’re face. the feeling of unconditional happiness each time you wake up next to them. not the feeling of being lost without them but the feeling that you can’t see yourself without them. they are the other half of you. without them your not you, just someone. you wake up ever morning for them, every decision was made for them, everything…for them. love is when you don’t remember yourself without them. yet there’s no words or word or sentence can say what it truly is. we could go on and on with paragraphs, in the end to just get a slight idea of what it really is, so we settle down and just call it love.
