I'm curious - are you commenting in general or did you notice his technique? (jonty, my apologies for talking about you in front of you...). I ask because his left and right hand are playing different. His left is using a classically trained fingertip power method, where his right is more laid-back jazz or blues (hitting with the pad under the first knuckle). Getting exceptional boogie like this is *hard*! Kudos Jonty!

I am not a professional musician but I did notice something unique about the way he was playing with his fingers...like floating magic as compared to just slamming the keys like many other ragtime players. However I thank you for explaining in detail what I was sort of sensing.

Sad as with you its great when your all doing the Boogi Woogi piano 🎹 . I noticed they went missing around the time Brendan had trouble with the Chinese Ccp 😩, are they worried now to play ? Ahh I see you’ve also been ilford station. I haven’t been there in ages and amazing playing. I remember seeing a sign, on when you can play and that you can’t play “too loud” but I guess that’s changed 😂
