Poor punky, the good thing though is that you can treat him at home and he doesn't have to stay in the vets. Same as with humans we may be grateful for hospital care but when you're sick you really want your own bed.
I hope Punk feels better soon. I had to give my 15 year old cat meds for the thyroid and take him in every 3 weeks. I did that for two years. We do whatever we have to for our fur babies and our kids. Thanks to my vet I had two extra years with my cat Chaos.
I'm happy Feather is in good condition. My daughter has a Great Dane and she looks thin but not. That's the way Great Danes are. Poor Punky is having liver issues. I pray his meds will help out with that Bri. Thankyou so much for bringing us with you and your beautiful pups.❤❤❤

I had a Doberman die of Liver problems, what helped was changing his diet to a copper free dog food. I feed all my dogs Voyager Dog food that only have natural copper in it. Voyager ships to the house great food my by a vet that lost his dog for Copper storage disease. I hope this helps.
Bri, we changed our pups food to The Farmers Dog. We've noticed a substantial change in our dogs energy, weight loss, shiny healthy fur and skin. I highly recommend it!
Good luck Punk. It's also amazing what animals will swallow. You would not believe what a child will swallow. A 4 yo I was babysitting passed a quarter. Barbie ball up the nose. I'm terminally ill from 17 medication allergies. I have a Paracentesis every week.

Could Punk’s food be causing the liver issues? My mom’s dog died from liver disease caused by the dry dog food she fed him. I know of several other cases where the dogs had other organs fail too. My Nikita had seizures because of the food. We all changed to a different brand and made sure it didn’t come from the same company and her seizures went away. She’s been seizure free for 4 years now. Ole’ Roy is the food I used but my mom was using an off brand that was made by the same parent company. They had to recall all their brands and change their ingredients. I haven’t used them since. Her other dogs did much better after they changed food too. I don’t know what brand you use but look into it.
