It doesn’t use editing, buzz words, star power, or anything the advertising team has handy. They just found a scene in this show, and showed it. They don't need to do anything for this show to catch your attention, that's special. I mean that. And this scene is so real. How they're talking to each other, the dynamics of every character, their feelings are known, their goals are known, and how they feel about each other are known. I don't know the characters so you're gonna have to bare with me. Meech is clearly going down a bad road. He got a gun, and he has a shitton of money that "can solve their problems". That's clearly drug money. But he clearly cares for his family, since he was willing to give all the money he made to help his family. And when his dad denied it, his pride and anger told him that he didn't deserve this response and should leave. Meech's father is clearly angry at his son, but why he's angry is special, he's angry because he knows that Meech is going down a dangerous path, and he doesn't want the choices of his son to affect his family. Many would say that a caring father would try to convince their son to stop what they're doing, but that's just not true all the time. In poor households, especially a black household since their culture is full of pain and strife, the father is going to take the nuclear option when tensions are so high. The mom is clearly just trying to keep everything calm. She's using language that tries to defuse the situation, and constantly saying stuff like "he doesn't mean that" when the father is taking the nuclear option. Even the brother is realistic, never talking back to his dad since he knows he's beyond pissed, but still doesn't want to see his brother leave.

Then when they get the final notice of pass due payment and they are going to reposes the house and the people say but but, they cant do that. What people fail to understand is that when you sing the bank lone or mortgage contract you agree to have what ever property or house in the contract or as collateral repossessed if you fail to make the payments. People do not understand that this house still belongs to the bank until the mortgage is paid off in full. you have to make these payments on time and after so many missed payments if it is not a fixed mortgage will raise your rates will go up costing you more money and we will begin the process of filling out paper work to reposes the house.
