Ryan Thomas as much as I'd like to see them send it anywhere, that isn't how it works. It's a two part system that has to be put on and mixed at the exact same time. That's why there's that massive hose. It's like a rubberized epoxy. They'd have to come out and spray something for him.
Remarkable stuff. I understand it is becoming more popular as a coating for narrowboat hulls. Narrowboats usually have to be slipped from the water, stripped and coated with bitumen every 3 years or so. It seems this stuff is good for up to 30 years, so may well be worth the extra cost of treatment.
Hi slugfoot1, Yes, our GLS Coatings products are used extensively in the marine sector. Many of the fishing boats operating out of North Wales have our Specialist Protective Coatings on them - both on the decks as an anti-slip coating or on their hulls. It is, as you say, also ideal for narrowboat applications, removing the need to have them coated with bitumen every three years.
GLS Coatings Ltd Thanks for replying. As I am looking into buying a narrowboat eventually, what do you reckon the approximate cost of priming and coating the bottom half of a bare 60ft hull would be? Cheers.
Hi slugfoot1, Our GLS Coatings' Polyurea needs to be able to 'grip' onto the steel of your narrowboat hull. So, initially, it would need to be prep'd to SA 2.5. We would then apply a specialist primer - over which we would spray-apply our Polyurea coating. An approximate cost for our coating is c.£65 per m2 + the cost of the primer of around £15 per m2. I hope this helps.
Have you guys heard of 3D printing home they use concrete to print out the houses layer by layer I think this would be great for an outside coating make the house more durable
Dont ppl understand, that cars have to be able to get damaged? If you are in a car crash and your car doesn't get deformed you will die whilst your car is unscrached
Mario R Well they started as a car company. I saw videos of ppl who who head the front of a truck sprayed. But they also do structural work as you said. The pentagon is sprayed in a few areas with these to protect from grenade splinters
This would be great as a habitat sealant on the Moon or Mars. One could dig a tunnel or use existing lava tubes or caves. Just seal them up and put airlocks in them. On the Moon, underground would be the way to go as it would provide good Rad shielding.
Except engines and electronics, I'll make rest of the body of my car with cardboard and will spray it from both sides, to increase the mileage of the car drastically.
Well just be aware, that your is supposed to deform upon crashing so your survival rate is increased by quite a lot. Won't do you any good if your car is unscrached and you died. Just be aware of that.
Emperor Kanishka + You Tube you are both dumb as fuck, where did you get the impression hes european, for all you know he might be one of yours you dumbfucks.
If you check out the Mythbusters they use bed liner to help bomb-proof structures it was actually a really cool episode definitely check it out. They got the idea blowing up a truck with bedliner in it to bed stayed intact when the rest of the truck was destroyed
I wander how well this would work for sealing out water in an old basement. Would it be able to be applied over top hard to remove old paint and block sealant and create a barrier?
Yeah but even if you were to coat the other side of the brick and then try to break it wouldn't the inside of the brick be broken which would then make it weak. Or am I wrong?
I wish I had this on the walls of my shop when I was robbed. They broke down the wall behind my shop. Used a pillow and a sledge hammer to get in. I'm going to look into this stuff.
Imagine pranking someone with this! Just spray their entire house while they are inside! They'll never get out! We will be laughing all the way to prison!
Hi scottgixxer67, The reason we didn't spray both side of the blocks was that we wanted to show the substrate breaking away and our coating remaining intact. However, in the real world, we WOULD have fully encapsulated the blocks for maximum protection. If we were creating a Chemical Bund within a breezeblock setting, we would only have coated the internal area. This is then effectively a seamless bag, impervious to a wide range of chemicals.
Can you just imagine how strong this stuff would be if you spray it from both sides like the material wouldn't be able to leave the erea so it would hold it in as a punching bag
Scrolled to far for this comment. I tottaly agree. The only thing is that this coating dries fast. And that means that it is probably more toxic than other polymers.
Imagine how well this would do to super storms if the blocks were backed with rebar, and core filled. Throw on that coating after, and sit back sipping some sweet tea with no concerns for your shelter coming apart.
So like people that live in a block house have this as a coating and a storm comes through and they aren't home. When they return home they say while looking at the neighborhood in it's utter destruction then looking at their house and say. "We are so lucky we coated our house with that stuff" Then they open the front door and the inside is destroyed. And the house now having the structure of black paint stuff weakened by opening the front door collapses and kills the family.
Great product I'm looking for product to apply on my jet boat bothom and this look like great solution. I have a question can this product be applied with airless machine or need to be special sprayer for it? Thank you
I have no idea what I would use this for but it seems cool, am I just supposed to spray it on to my house? And if so does it act like a layer of thermal insulation for the structure?
Think about it, what if you layer this after a fabric spall liner on a tank? Survivability would be greater against Tandem Shape/Shaped charge tank Rounds.
This material is so cool I can imagine it being used as building bricks in seismic affected counties as well as roads so we don't have to keep tarmacking the shit out of them every year
Parabéns pelo belo vídeo. Já pensarão em fazer um cubo de tijolos de 1x1m e usarem explosivos. Tendo todo o cuidado e muita segurança. Este produto já esta a venda no Brasil?
Ok ya he was swinging pretty light for the most part but I do have to give this stuff credit nothing on the frontside broke. Only the back and sides of the bricks. Not bad if you ask me.
Hey it's Spray on Shoes from cloudy with a chance of meatballs!
Lol
"NERD! NERD! NERD!"
How are yeh gonna take them off *NERD*
Burning sensation intensifies.

I _knew_ I wasn't the only one who thought of it!
Looks like an awesome new undercoating for trucks and cars in the salt belt midwest.

The dramatic 80's movie music in the back ground was the best part 😂
You got a like after 2 yrs
@@Handpicked.Humor. thanks lol
I wonder how much better it would hold up if both sides were coated
Tdawg21 you wouldn't see a change in looks from start to finish.
Just rubble inside
Tdawg21 that's what I was thinking. Would be way stronger
That guy would be getting some overtime
Thing is, you wouldn’t get many opportunities to apply it like that in normal circumstances, I think.
That obstacle just literally became art.
Put that on a car and make crash test
Oh...
Flassk same
That's what that spray is made for
briliant
I'd coat my Jeep in it.
Now do both sides!

Thanks for that. This should help greatly in calculating cost vs benefits.

Have you guys heard of 3D printing home they use concrete to print out the houses layer by layer I think this would be great for an outside coating make the house more durable
i think that this is applied to wall to prevent break-in, as in burgling.
Michael D I like precasted concrete walls
I cannot tell if your serious, it's probably expensive as hell and a horrible insulator, not to mention how it looks, if I saw that next door, ugh.
It's hella expensive
@GrɆg not really look up icf homes
That is some incredible material. I'm impressed. This will be great in earthquake zones.
Best video I think I've ever seen ,great product thank you guys :)
Dont ppl understand, that cars have to be able to get damaged? If you are in a car crash and your car doesn't get deformed you will die whilst your car is unscrached
Dude, it's rubber, it has some give to it. Dafaq?!
I dont think this is meant for structural purposes in the automotive industry anyway. Maybe its good for waterproofing applications on buildings?
Alan Hall
Well, doesn't seem like much if it can withstand a hammer..
Mario R
Well they started as a car company. I saw videos of ppl who who head the front of a truck sprayed. But they also do structural work as you said. The pentagon is sprayed in a few areas with these to protect from grenade splinters
Where Does it say this is for cars. and a car would still deform if this was on it.
Da fără cuvinte se poate utiliza și în construcții ,auto , naval aeronautica bravo 😎
*2 minutes into the video*
"Were the hell is the skip ad??" "Oh shit I'm actually watching this"
Man this stuff would make great undersealer for classic cars
Impressive stuff, would be great to use in underground home construction.

spray this on home roofs , last forever and also would help as insulation I'm sure .
Good idea!
As long as it is uv resistant. You should see all of the grey bedliners around town. A few years of sunshine wears it out.
What crawled up your ass !! Worry about your lover not me I’m not part of your life in any fucken way so FUCK OFF !!!

If he's gonna swing the sledge hammer like a little girl, of course it's not going to break!
chase allen I was thinking the same 😂😂😂
I love how there’s a cut between each level
I reckon they were using s light sledge/hollow sledge to.
He hit it hard enough to break up the cement holding it up so he must have been doing something right.
I work for a concrete cutting and demolition company. He was hitting that block like a bitch. My little girl swings harder.
This is a fantastic product amazing piece of hardware brilliant

500 litres for £250 with the spray gun included! That’s not too bad, and there was me thinking this was going to be expensive

Uratz no they already tried it by putting the coating on a
car and shooting a AR-15 at it or a small pistol it didn't work
Flex seal. Infomercials on all the time, last time they sprayed a boat with a screen door for the bottom, this is good stuff.

I wish I had this on the walls of my shop when I was robbed. They broke down the wall behind my shop. Used a pillow and a sledge hammer to get in. I'm going to look into this stuff.
Nice material. How long would it last out in the elements?
Hi nicholai40, GLS Coatings' products come with a European Warranty of 25 years.
We supply this coating. Email:kevin-wang@shamu-intl.com
I was thinking that same thing
Imagine pranking someone with this! Just spray their entire house while they are inside! They'll never get out! We will be laughing all the way to prison!

Great product! Ideal for basement walls.
AWESOME,,,should have sprayed both sides of the blocks...

Pretty cool how the backs flew out before the fronts
Can't we just cover the middle east in this stuff and be done.
I don't understand why you don't have 1 million likes and half a million comments.
Something is beyond repair.
They’re bigoted against us and revel in our misery when we’re the victims of terrorist attacks...
It’s been a thousand years of antagonism from them.
Better yet instead of wasting all that material on the Middle East let's just cover you in it and make the world instantly a better place
George "savages" really? Grow up man
Can you just imagine how strong this stuff would be if you spray it from both sides like the material wouldn't be able to leave the erea so it would hold it in as a punching bag
I'm pretty sure a thick coating of a variety of polymers would have similar effects... this is equivalent to the "as seen on TV" Demos...
Scrolled to far for this comment. I tottaly agree. The only thing is that this coating dries fast. And that means that it is probably more toxic than other polymers.
Is it fire proof and how does it hold up to the elements
Desert Logger which element? The 6th one
6th 7th 8th you name it lol
Qué resistencia🤥!!!! Un producto con mucha salida. Ahora a ver cuanto cuesta y lo que contamina, que seguro será mucho.
the wall of HardCore Pawn
You've ever saw a man get hammered through a phone book?the Phone book said"it was ok"but the man seem.....
i wonder how thick they have to make that to stop 5,56 and 7,62 nato rounds.
Fenrir as thick as your brain
Imagine how well this would do to super storms if the blocks were backed with rebar, and core filled. Throw on that coating after, and sit back sipping some sweet tea with no concerns for your shelter coming apart.
NoW ThAt's ALoT oF DaMAge
My wife needs this sprayed all over her car and the front of our dang dishwasher
Wow wow wow i wanna make house with this
They should mix that stuff in when making concrete foundations and blocks. I like this stuff
Ecológicamente parece no ser bueno
This music...I feel like *Snake Pliskin* is gonna bust thru the wall
🇾🇪👍👍😎💪🗣

Wow que perfecto material exelente para techos botes y paredes exteriores good job gus thats is exelent water proof
This would be great for flood plains and anywhere that is in danger of high water
Looks like good staff, would be perfect for foundation waterproofing.
This is actually pretty cool. Spray this stuff onto plaster casts for healing broken bones
I guess the big bad wolf couldn't break the piggies house due to GLS Coating
Music from an 80's zombie flick, I love it
Great product I'm looking for product to apply on my jet boat bothom and this look like great solution. I have a question can this product be applied with airless machine or need to be special sprayer for it?
Thank you
The soundtrack on this video sounds like some late 80s, early 90s TV shows
I have no idea what I would use this for but it seems cool, am I just supposed to spray it on to my house? And if so does it act like a layer of thermal insulation for the structure?
The whole time I thought I was in a gta guest set up!😂
best invention ever. where to buy this kind of paint
Would have liked to see how it would have held up if sprayed on both sides.
Yes really strong. Like hammering polymer backed concrete slab.
I'm sure this will do wonders for the environment.
Great invention , brilliant product !!
Sounds like a good idea to coat the border walls with it.
isnt this the material that they use for the back of pickup trucks where you put the cargo and stuff? It it is im buying it.
Think about it, what if you layer this after a fabric spall liner on a tank? Survivability would be greater against Tandem Shape/Shaped charge tank Rounds.
ايش هل مادة والله الاجانب شي فاخر اللهم زيدهم علم لأنهم يستحقوا وزيدنا جهل لأننا نستاهل
Awesome! Protect during earthquakes and explosions to deter debris.
This some good shit we need stuff like this in Florida
Do You guys have distribution to Estonia and Finland? I'm interested.
If this thing is not flammable, is light, and not toxic. Put it asap in cars body to prevent crashes! Also put it in plains and helicopters!
I wish he coated both sides.... think the blocks would still break but it would still keep its form.... interesting stuff...
This stuff may be a good idea for vault walls made of block.
This material is so cool I can imagine it being used as building bricks in seismic affected counties as well as roads so we don't have to keep tarmacking the shit out of them every year
ik this is late but is it waterproof? bc if it was that would be amazing
Ja klasse das Produkt 👍
Was man mit Kunststoff alles machen kann
Parabéns pelo belo vídeo. Já pensarão em fazer um cubo de tijolos de 1x1m e usarem explosivos. Tendo todo o cuidado e muita segurança. Este produto já esta a venda no Brasil?
I like how sprays smell :3
Ok ya he was swinging pretty light for the most part but I do have to give this stuff credit nothing on the frontside broke. Only the back and sides of the bricks. Not bad if you ask me.
Would this be a good border wall? Just asking. And where can we buy it to protect current structures on personal property?
WOOOOOOOOOOW, Im amazed and awe struck. That shit's amazing.
Excellent en plus avec ça plus de problème d'infiltration
Yes how does it break down ? Is it just in black ? Have they tested it in a wind tunnel with debris thrown at it? Can it be used in the midwest?
