It would look even crazier if you could animate some movements into the final tentacles. I think it would emphasize the fact that the little patterns are interwoven and not intersecting.
I just started with 3D sculpting in VR last week and wonder why I didn‘t do this my whole life. I find it amazing and thank you for your videos that are so much inspiring.
man I am fascinated with the shole serie, this is amazing, not I only find all of the elements very inspiring but I also think that all of the info that you gave to us is super useful, thanks for sharing
honestly, I think the smaller ones should be thinner, or maybe sparser because I really liked the structure of the larger ones and the smaller ones make it hard to see it
Get yourself BoboVR strap with a battery, its a face saver and the hinge is a huge VR life improvement when you’re a dev needing to come in and out of VR every minute or so.
Everything ive seen from VR sculpting has been more in the organic direction, I'm wondering how would VR sculpting handle or just how it would work if you tried more of a Solid Structure build like a building or something industrial, for instance pipes and machinery or buildings and street design. great vid also.
I've always seen sculpting solid objects like buildings and such a little unnecessary when modelling it in Blender/Maya will get a near exact result, with sculpting only needed for adding details like cracks and such. Of course, this is just my outlook, upon which others may disagree.
I'm excited to try this out. Text to 3D model and image to 3D model generators are coming along, so I'd like to use that to create base shapes and modify them here and blender I wonder if this tool supports voice commands?
Great work👌👍👍 I would suggest to make some dents/cracks on door near the tentacles so it looks like it is holding on the door rather than just being on it.
Maybe you could have made a barrier shape around the symbol to represent a black holes event horizon, and the monster being the singularity at the center, aka, a being of INFINITE mass
If shapelabs add in better detailed tools for hard surface modelling, like line and curve drawing, that's when I'm moving fully to VR. Currently, it's best for organics, but the moment I need a sword or similar, I need to go make a prop in Blender. Vertex, edge, and face select, with the ability to snap to a plane would be killer (especially in sculpt mode!). Add in custom stamp support with the ability to make a stamp in session... that's golden age stuff.
I wish they got rid of that blue highlight when you point at the object. It would be better to change it for neutral grey or slightly brighter tone of the model, because it prevents me from seeing the object clearly, especially with scans
Nice work. VR sculpting is getting far too less attention. What I really miss is a comparison between Kodon and Shapelab. Is Adobe Substance comparable too? What to buy to get the best tool to sculpt some models for my UE5 projects?
Daniel what is the chance of this beautiful channel to receive audio tracks in other languages ? would be a dream come true and I would live happily :)
Couldn't you just apply an array modifier f in Blender to make those repeat? You mention you wish you could make an instance of the tentacle to edit them all at once, but I'm pretty sure you could just make a circular array to repeat the mesh without having to make hard copies.
Yeah totally. Can't sculpt with a VR controller in Blender though. I describe the benefits in earlier videos and briefly in this one, the final chapter
@@BoroCG I specifically mean the fragment when you say you wish the VR sculpting app had instancing, like Blender does, so that you could make duplicates that edit along the original. I'm just pointing out, that Blender has a better solution than *just* instancing, which the app could implement.
Oh I see, you're right. But I think instancing is a more universal tool that can be used with the already implemented transformation tools. But yeah, stuff like arrays is great
2:00 mmm I am unsure if you want a something that looks like a black sun to be a secondary symbol to your game. The black sun is a neo-nazi symbol that is still in use today. So, trying to googlw the symbol from the game might cause some... confusion to say the least. wikipedia does say, that black sun is also used by neo pagans and satanists, but I'm not sure if everyone will give that benefit of the doubt.
@@serg10xm.69 Fair, but I still would not put swatikas in my house. The black sun is still in active use by them, so attempts to reclaim the symbol might send the wrong message.

I wonder if you could animate a displacement material to make them look like they were softly breathing, kind of?

I never thought a door would be spooky
New video ❤🎉🎉
Its always good to see your sculpting videos
I love how it looks
Its totally not overdone ❤❤

THE DOOR is my favorite format on youtube

I wonder if this tool supports voice commands?
I'll be able to play with it this weekend. If it doesn't natively support voice, maybe I can hook VoiceAttack up to it
Great work👌👍👍

Maybe you could use something like video feedback at the shader level to produce a sorta fractal effect on the shape at run time?

Amazing. Looking forward to seeing this game.
Please do yourself a favor and get a new headstrap! I recommend either the bobo vr or kiwi designs head straps.
This is beautiful work!

6 day fast? hardcore 💪
the sun, the donut, and the holy tenticals
Actually kinda cool :)
you never go too far, BoroD
Perfect for Trick or Treat on Halloween....🤪
"Infinite elements that repeat forever" I think you mean modular design.

You gotta keep in mind that the Nazis stole all their symbols...

jesus christ don’t do it
