Out of the three show (Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Legacies), the Originals was my favorite one.The writing, the plot, the characters everything are better in my opinion.
i preferred the characters in tvd but i the originals is my favorite show by far, it's written way better imo i agree with u

In season 2/3 the vampire diaries had new villians, including Klaus and his family, they were so compelling, that they gave them a spin off

The Originals were introduced in season 2 of the vampire diaries, the writers didn’t plan on keeping them for that long but they became a fan favorite and one of the best storylines to have existed on tvd so they made a spinoff. The Originals also happen to be the most successful spin off the CW ever had and became a hit in very little time. The characters on this show are written so beautifully, every character has a very interesting back story. You might be really confused when you get to the last episode because there are new characters (2 more original siblings that weren’t introduced in this episode)

I love The Vampire Diaries but The Originals was always more of my favorite. The Vampire Diaries is more about romance while The Originals is more about family. I also don't know if you realized this but in the season finale of the vampire diaries Caroline opened a letter and it said it was from Klaus. Klaus and and Caroline were a huge ship in the vampire diaries, Klaus was madly in love with Caroline and she was the first person he really ever showed his humanity to. They never were endgame because it was just always wrong timing but the writer of both shows said that Klaus and Caroline had potential to be one of the biggest ships in tv history because they really do have that great of a story. Caroline also appears for a couple of episodes mid season 5 on this show

I love that the Originals sets up Klaus and Elijahs characters so that even if you haven't watch TVD you can tell the kind of people they are like you got the whole 'loose canon' and 'noble speaker' from Klaus and Elijah just from how they put the characters together. This is my favourite in the TVD universe
The originals were first introduced as huge villains in TVD with Klaus being the worst one!! They had this link to Elena and Katherine and the werewolf arc!

The silver dagger has been used several times in vampire diaries on Elijah Rebekah and kol...it was introduced as the only way to kill an original vampire temporarily
I loved The Vampire Diaries but by far The Originals surpassed them. I think it's safe to say that TVD fans fell in love with The Mikaelsons when they first appeared in The Vampire Diaries from season 2-4. TVD was a great series but it was more about teenage love while The Originals focused the entire series on the Always and Forever vow the original vampire siblings promised to each other. Also the fact that there was more storylines regarding the witches and werewolves, vampires and power.
Tvd is about romance , originals is about family, legacies is about friendship, they all are good in their own way

So Anthony the thing about Elijah is that he doesn’t lie, and he doesn’t ever break a promise when he makes one, and Marcel has a long history with the Mikelson siblings so he knows that and thus he’d know that when Elijah said the thing about Klaus’s blood being the cure for werewolf bites that it was true.

The people that came over from the TVD are the Original Vampire Family(Klaus,Elijah,Rebekah, Freya,Kol,Finn & Henrik). It was a storyline that was introduced in season 2 I believe of TVD and if I’m not mistaken The Originals was a spin off in like season 4 or 5 of TVD. There was actually a backdoor pilot that is the first episode of TO the real first episode of TO is episode 2.
Legacies is about Niklaus’s Daughter Hope
Of all 3 shows The Originals is my favorite.
There’s a back door pilot version of the episode on the Vampire Diaries - Season 4 episode 20 from Klaus’s perspective.
What you pointed out about Marcel immediately believing Elijah, it makes sense because he knows him. Marcel knows that Elijah is noble and doesn't really lie (he lived with Klaus and Elijah for a few hundred years and Elijah was like an uncle to him)
Yeah for sure, I didn’t mean to imply that it didn’t make sense or anything. Especially since with a character like Elijah it’s clear that he wouldn’t just lie like that. I guess I was moreso just trying to be funny and comparing it to an out of context event of two people talking and someone saying something like that and the other person just immediately believing them being funny. I can see how that didn’t really come across in the video though

When Niklaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshell consived they gave birth to a tribrid named Hope Mikaelson and as a tribrid she has the ability to cast spells, drink blood and she also had werewolf venom, basically she is half witch, vampire, and werewolf. I am only saying this for those who do not know.
For the baby vampire, basically when she will born she will have vampire blood in her veins. But to become a vampire you have to die and then be resurrected, so in fact, until she dies, she won't be a vampire. She will become one if one day she dies. So she will grow up normally for now.
Fun idea about the deadly sins! The sins are: Lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride.
As you mentioned, pride and wrath are shown clearly. Marcel also goes "jealous?". He sure is. He wants to be the king. Sloth is actually shown when he tells them to kill her and the baby, and he doesnt care and does nothing about it. Gluttony is his first scene, where he pretty much ate a boat full of people. Not sure about lust, unless you count knocking up some lady he doesnt care about before the episode. He pretty much checks all the boxes in the first episode. Never thought of that.
The first scene is very much like the first scene in the vampire diaries. And as some have stated, I too, like this show better then the diaries themselves. Not the least because of Elijah.

This episode actually was a Vampire Diaries episode called The Originals in season 4 or 5, I honestly don’t remember, but basically they showed this episode in TVD and then premiered the show so that people watching TVD would have seen the pilot and wanted to watch it, which is why it feels more like an episode than a pilot. I think there were some small extra scenes in the actual pilot compared to the TVD episode though.

actually the originals were introduced in the vampire diaries, and the 1st part of the originals this episode is tvd's ep 4x20 and this ep is the continuation of it..
In TVD 4x20 it's from klaus's pov and this ep is from Elijah's pov.. I hope you understood..😅 and can you please do a reaction to tvd 4x20 also..
I think this show was able to get the ball rolling right away mainly because it was a back door pilot. Season 4 episode 20 of the Vampire diaries is almost exactly this episode with only a little editing to make it slightly more interesting for people who watch both. No need to introduce the originals themselves much and what their powers are because most of us already know that. Instead drop us right into the drama in New Orleans and the new characters.
there is more to the pilot in vampire diaries season 4, you meet the marcel , mikalsons and hayley ,in vampire diaries I love how you said your "PRETTY SURE HES NOT LYING ", about Elijah . Elijah is considered the HONORABLE one!

The silver stake is a silver stake but his has white oak ash on it which puts the originals to a slumber as you call it until it is pulled out becuase originals can’t die like other vampires and the only thing that can kill them is the white oak stake but there is other things but you so t see them cuz that happened in the series like the hollow and updated original like ahaha hat Marcel and Lucien turn into
Hybrid blood curing a ware wolf bite is a well known thing in tvd and originals universe and the dagger isn't always 90 years it's just until it is pulled out
Also another fact, that is revealed in Vampire Diaries and carries over here is if you kill an Original than every vampire sired by that Original and every vampire sired by a vampire in that bloodline dies. So if Marcel actually killed Klaus than he would die himself.

Not sure if this was shared or not, the actual pilot was a soft pitot shown in TVD. This is just the story from Elijah’s viewpoint of the same episode.
I highly recommend watching it if you give the series a go. It gives proper introductions to Marcel and Camille who are main characters and original to this series.
The reason it feels like alot has happened is because the original were already introduces in the vampre diaries and they did a preview of what was happening In new orlens at some point in the vampre diaries

It's interesting that you point out that the Elijah character having like a speech-ifying type of voice and how he's been around for a while and such. I think I remember reading about the actor, when he got the role on The Vampire Diaries, sort of working on his voice and inflections to try and give off the vocal performance of someone whose lived for that long.
They can hear each other over the music cuz they have “vampire hearing” and so does everyone else at the party lol

You should checkout, Midnight Mass on Netflix❣️. It’s one of Mike Flanagan’s best work, it’s a 7 episode show, very interesting 😊💗
Hope is not a vampire yet. Hope will be tribrid. (A not activated vampire since she will become a vampire if she dies. A witch like her grandmother since when a person becomes a vampire they lose their magic. And a werewolf like her mom and dad but her werewolf side can only be activated after her first kill which happens accidentally in season 5 out of the grief of her mom's death.)Technically she is only a werewitch(a werewolf and witch) who can heal herself(like vampires) by the end of season 5. There is another spinoff about Hope and Caroline/Josette and Alaric's daughters(from TVD). It's called Legacies. There is a threat that has a weakness which is Tribid blood and powers. But since hope is not a full tribrid yet they are looking for a loophole so that hope doesn't have to be a vampire also. Season 4 premiered last week and the poster and trailer says Hope must die(so she might die or find a loophole)
I think tvd is better because they keep getting new storylines and plots but the originals is a amazing spin off

The originals had a great foundation to start from: good storyline, good writing, strong fan base from tvd. It’s what made it so successful. However, tvd had that something special which made u obsessed with it. It could be those certain characters we will always love.

My vampire diaries video First/Last episode video was released September 4th, 2020. His was released September 20th.
Also, I first started doing First/Last with Pretty Little Liars and that was uploaded on August 21st.
Even this video you are commenting on was released September 18th. That is two days before he ever did a First and Last episode thing. I am not stealing anything from him, and I’m not accusing him of stealing from me. But I didn’t see anyone else doing “Watching the FIRST and LAST episode” of anything until after I started doing it, so I most definitely didn’t steal it from anyone.

Yes, that’s exactly what I did. I explain why in the video. If you don’t agree with it that’s fine but keep in mind I’m just a regular, random person who chose to watch the first and last episode of a TV show and it doesn’t in any way negatively impact your life, so you don’t have to get mad or try to put me down or make me feel bad about it.
And at this point I don’t even remember what happened in the last episode any more so I hardly “ruined” the show for myself, should I ever actually decide to watch it in its entirety.
