    Will be there in Sept '24 & now have to make a stop at the visitor center to look for your art. Beautiful!! Nice video. I can't wait to be there.

    Haley! This was an awesome volg. I happen to be quite taken by Jackson and GTNP and dream of relocating one day. Therefore I “drag” my family there often to get our fix. I can’t believe your artwork is yours?! We have admired the moose mural and several of your works in the GTNP visitors center! I learned other great bits of info. Keep these up! They are beautifully done and you are as sweet as can be! Envious South Floridian Jen❤

      Hi Jen! Thanks so much for the sweet reply to my video - I’m glad you’ve got to enjoy viewing some of my art in person!! I hope you make your relocation dream come true, we’d love to have you here ☺️☺️

    Great video! We are going to Jackson Hole to visit the Tetons and Yellowstone on October 24. Do you think Yellowstone and the roads will still be mostly open at that time? We have never been so don't know what to expect this time of year.

      You should have just enough time, I think both parks should be open until Nov. 1. Some shops/restaurants might already be closed, so bring snacks:) It will be chilly, have fun!!

    Is it a hard trail? I noticed you were not wearing any type of hiking shoes or carrying too much water or bear spray at all. Im planning to do this trail next year and thats why Im doing some research on how to do it the right way

    • @haleeps
      @haleeps  14 дней назад +1

      I had bear spray inside my backpack and also the pack is a camelbak so there’s like 2 liters of water on me. I always wear running shoes on hikes so I wouldn’t rly judge too much by that - it’s a challenging hike for sure, mainly the 2nd half.

    Where do you buy the bear spray? We're from Europe and I keep reading 'bring bearspray', I have no idea where you would get that? :D

    • @haleeps
      @haleeps  Год назад +1

      You can simply rent it right at the airport or buy it in town at lots of shops! Super simple!!

    Where is the best spot for sunset in the park early september?

    • @haleeps
      @haleeps  9 месяцев назад +1

      The Moulton barn just outside of the park or oxbow bend would be solid choices

      Thank you! Yes I came in from the south but only bc it’s closer to Jackson, going in from the north is beautiful - Jackson lake is great for sitting on a “beach” and then you can drive the full way through ..and end at Dornans:)

      We are staying at colton bay. Our family will love it. We will be driving North and South. Some easy to moderate hikes. Thanks for the information.

      It isn’t a hike on GTNP maps - it never used to be maintained, but it got so popular that it’s sort of a real trail now. There are a number of people that have written blogs about it online!
