    Asbourough,
I went there two days ago, and was wondering have the trees been carbon dated by taking core samples?
The Moat, which I noticed West and East of the Church which is intact, was it dug against the Roman's? Or was it dug after the Roman's,
St Cedd stayed a while where I live in Great Burstead at St Mary Magdalene Church, he placed a preaching cross, and blessed a well, its amazing to think these ancient monks walked around converting the Saxon Kings to Christianity, King Seabhert also of Burstead became the first Christian King of Essex, the more you look around at these villages whether it be Mundon or Burstead, you will find a connection, the trees are intriguing I must say, just as a guide the girth of an Oak can be aged by measuring in inches and dividing by 2.5 which will give an age

Beautifully shot and narrated, really enjoyed.
The sea was far. far closer back in the day, so the theory holds water....
However, the point regarding only the oaks being affected has been something that I've thought about, perhaps Oaks are more susceptible to salt than other flora?
I thought that the voice sounded like Smeagol.
