It's funny watching this video I just went on my first cruise ever and it was Royal Caribbean and I actually walked to Starbucks in the Bahamas when I got off the ship :) I loved seeing all the different shops it was so pretty. i am for sure booking another cruise

So frustrating the food isnt good in the mess! There's really no excuse not to feed the staff well, especially considering the long hours most of them work, and they have athletes/performers onboard that need healthy options!
When people are at sea for months on end, having nice meals should be something staff look forward to. It helps morale a lot onboard. The fact they're not bothering to listen to complaints either is quite ridiculous. Theres no excuse for it imo (especially when there's so many cooks/chefs onboard!) 💜🏴⛸️

it’s in our contracts to get there for dinner, however they sometimes don’t let us

One of these days though, I'm going to that Museum of Slavery!!!! I've walked by it a few times but have always had somewhere else to go.

Trader Joe's is thousands of miles away from me. I live in Hawaii and have never been to TJ but I've been gifted TJ treats.

ugh, i hate the feeling of reading something and it was just meg. I recently jumped out of romance (i binged on spicy / cute for like, 8 weeks) and fell straight into high fantasy /moderate spicy romance with Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I was so obsessed after book one i bought the rest of the series during black friday sales - highly, highly recommend if you need something to switch it up.
I need to go to Trader Joe’s never been before. It’s so far from Detroit but I’m tempted by video hauls.

As a guest I hope the old way never ever ever comes back. I’d purposely wait until I was about to be late to show up so I wouldn’t stand in the heat. It triggers my fainting episodes to stand for a while + hear. It also triggers my anxiety to be stuck in the back. Maybe I need special needs accommodations if the old way were to come back.

"Me Before You, " "After You, " and "Still Me?" If not ... really good.
Also - "The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek" and "The Bookwoman's Daughter" are excellent.
And ... a little "deeper," is "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. Crazy and a page-turner.
The Bookwoman books are some of my all time favorites.
