I've got massive hands so even the dark core sometimes feels a little small but the comfortability of it is a huge plus for me, especially the removable pinky holder. Couldn't live without it.
Does it have wheel or left click problems ? I have large hands too and looking for a replacement for my cooler master mm830, that mounse is super comfortable and perfectly fits my hands, but I used it for years now and it's feet fell off.
@@ahmadfodeh3413 the only problem I've had with the mouse is the scroll wheel seems like not registering or feeling laggy when scrolling too fast which can be annoying, can't really complain about anything else although I've had a few other wireless mice with the same problem, sometimes even worse.
Thx mate, I've looked everywhere for comparisons like this so thank you. You've earned your self a sub. 💛
How a pinky rest isnt standard is beyond me
yeah... I want the M65 but with a pinky rest! :D I think I will be trying out the Mad Catz DWS... I like the replacable AA battery since I have Usb type C rechargable AA betteries at home......
The M65 being too small was my only complaint about the mouse, I prefer the size of the dark core, out of the 2 I like the dark core but performance of the m65 made me favor it, also the battery, they're both awesome
by how this function I think it's only good for claw grippers and people with small hands.
I just got the dark core pro SE.. specficially for the wireless charging. I dont even really PC game.. at least nothing that uses a mouse. It's nice being able to just set the mouse on my qi charger on top of my pine power. My mouse doesnt rattle like yours does, but it's also got less than 10 hours of use.. so that could be something coming later.
I've had the wired M65 pro rgb for 5 years and it's probably the best mouse I've ever used. It does have some scrolling issues, which can be treated via cleaning the potentiometer once in a while, and I had to replace the switches due to the infamous double click issue.
I didn't know they came out with a wireless version. I'll definitely pick one up for my laptop.
It's my favorite mouse ever made, as a warning the m65 ultra has some changes. It's click feel is significantly different and they modified the edges and removed rgb mouse wheel. Nothing significant but I wish they just ported my old mouse
@@slob5041 Thanks for the warning, but I've already switched to a different mouse, which is Keychron's M3 Wireless.
I wanted a lighter mouse that was both wired and wireless, and didn't rely on special software.
This is the exact video I needed
Glad you liked it
What hit me watching this vid was how much more of an office-type mouse the dark core is. Own the pro se version myself and like the comfort. Pinky rest is a must, and this has it.
Disable the rgb and noone will bat an eye if you pull it up at a business meeting. And still it has plenty good specs. At this point the numbers are meaningless mostly. Who can tell the difference between 18k and 26k dpi during normal use (for whoever uses it)? Battery life and switch lifetime are better on the m65, I'll give it that as a leg up
The Dark core looks incredible visually
Nice video. Say, did you encounter any problem with the slipstream connectivity? My Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless is an absolute nightmare in that respect, I leave the USB cable attached because it will drop connection to the slipstream receiver every two hour. I see quite a few reviews that experience the same misery with that particular mouse.
Nope
Perhaps it's too far/has things in the way? It happened to me with the Dark Core Pro, I had the dongle on the back, with a Logitech Dongle above it and a cable next to it. I used an extension to move the USB dongle closer and that worked, but then realized moving the dongle to the front of the computer also solved it. Eventually I was able to get my computer on top of the desk and now it works perfectly with the dongle in the back.
@@FilmMonger my problem was resolved last spring with a dongle firmware update.
@@bunkermagnus Awesome, good to see they addressed it!
I'm a BIG sniper guy and claw gripper so this mouse will be perfect for me baby I'm going to check this out in order one. just hope that they don't bring out a new model of this or I'm going to be mad LOL
Hooray, thanks!
Owned two of these. In both cases the buttons went tits-up in a couple months. Love the look. Hate the reliability.
My wired version of the m65 didn’t last 2 months before it just started randomly shutting off. You have to unplug the usb and plug it back in to work again. It’s pretty annoying.
Hello!
Which would you say is more comfortable for big hands - The Dark Core Pro or the Asus Spatha X?
From memory, the Spatha X
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thanks so much for letting me know! I've been looking at both for a while now :D
Hi maybe you can help me i just got my Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro yesterday and was charging via usb port but it won't show me a charging light on the mouse like red yellow green if fully charged only in the Icue it will say charging the only way i know that its fully charged if i remove the cable the cable from the mouse is that normal ?
seems like a lot of the reviews on amazon say that the left click tends to die after a few months. Anyone else having that problem?
I had to RMA my dark core pro and get sent a new one because there was double left clicking issues (started to happen around 6 months after getting it for the first time). No issues so far with the new one, and besides all that it’s fine.
I had that issue with my first dark core, sent out an email to corsair, got a response but never received compensation so just decided to get another, haven't had the problem happen yet after about 7 months
Your 'Hellooooo' always sounds so sensual.
i just got my dark core pro and i can not update any of the firmware has anyone else had this problem?
You should play in Harry potter with youre voice❤
I clicked because of the topic. I remained because of such a sensual voice.
Hope you subbed too then 🦐
@@TheProvokedPrawn OK. I will give you that. Subscribed.
@@TheProvokedPrawn OK. I will give you that. Subscribed.
This is not the Dark Core Pro RGB SE yea?
Correct
Woof that price tag, no thanks mate, I'll wait for a sale or alternative. Good review though!
The price seems to vary wildly. One minute it's £109, the next £179.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Damn for £109 I might consider it, I'll get hunting, cheers matey!
@@StardustLegacyFighter cheers matey!
Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro all day long over the M65 ultra
M65 Ultra Wireless hands-on coming from a Razer Basilisk (wired) - I'd give the M65 a 4/10 and the Basilisk an 8/10, my G502 Pro (Wired) 8/10.
i want this thing pretty bad
how tf do you charge it
