I salute this guy for doing what most people don't and that's enjoy his car by doing what it is meant for. To be driven.
If this doesn't make you want to buy an NSX, I don't know what would. This video captures the pure essence and emotion of driving. Well done! and keep up the good work! Cheers.
AMAZING story dude! Thanks for making the video!
I appreciate it!
Car looks good even today. It doesn't look old, they really did a great job with that. You can't say that with many sports cars from 20 years ago. I know its somewhat subjective, but I still feel like the NSX still looks great today.
They made roughly 40 of these.....and this dude made it a daily. 😭I live the essence of his idea, but especially with this one wow you’re committed to that daily driver things. Props to you.
Wow. i have to give the dude props. Shipped his car from VA to HI. Most people just sell the car to avoid the shipping fees. but he embraced it and as a fellow VA'r I have to give credit where credit is due. Dude truly loves his car.
one of the nicest nsx's i've seen
Beautiful man. Hopefully one day I'll get one.
thanks!
Not impossible by today's' standards. And with Honda/Acura continuing the 2017 NSX this means the older NSX's will depreciate! Everybody wins! At Least that's the plan anyways. Best of luck on your dream car!
From your mouth to gods ears man. They are still through the roof and climbing. I pray that the market floods with them one day and prices drop,
NSX drivers have just as much passion for their car as S2OOO owners.
S2000 owners don't have Ayrton Senna's seal of approval.
Rudolf Menon Who is Aryton Senna?
Devonte Murray PLEASE tell me you are joking.
Trey Scales No, I'm dead serious lol
Ayrton Senna is one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time and he won three Formula One world championships. If you know anything about cars, you have to know who he is.
im happy with this guy for being happy with his car with lots of mileage on it...enjoy it
I love how an NSX almost looks like a jet of some kind, like the driver's "cockpit" looks almost like a cockpit of an F/A-18 Hornet or a Mikoyan Mig-29 or something. It's just simply beautiful, remarkable, something totally unique on the road this far in age since its creation and much further along. I think the design is honestly timeless. It will shine its way through time no matter how much time goes by.
You are the few guys that I respect the mods you put on your car.... its a beaut.
Great video, this guy has the right outlook on life!
I still want an NSX. Great video!
Every time I watch this video I fall in love with my Nsx all over again. 10yr owner and the car still make me smile every second I’m in it...
for me this NSX will forever be the most beautiful Honda ever.
This NSX video was waaaayyy better than the Petrolicious NSX video imo.
Thanks! I watched it a while ago, I'd have to agree, it's not one of their best works.
n0eLoL The newest porsche video they just uploaded earlier today is exceptional.
will definitely be checking that out later tonight :)
+n0eLoL Yeah the NSX and the Porsche are both out of my price range, but I will be in the market to get either a MS3 or a FA5 Honda Civic Si.
Totally agree! I've just shared this vid with the New Zealand NSX owners group.. 17 more views hopefully :D
The NSX is definitely more practical than other supecars. You can do everything with it.
I can relate to this guy for daily driving a sports car, nothing else is like it. That having said I am also quite jealous of the pristine paint that is on his "daily" lol.
I don't know how he keeps the paint looking so fresh considering he went off roading with this thing
This is a true love story man. It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing bits and pieces of your journey. This timeless beautiful looks great in purple as well.
Regards.
The true meaning of a daily driver car. Happiness
I bought a 300zx twin turbo, bought an aw11 mr2 for daily. BUT i found myself driving my zx everywhere i go...Totally agree with you. Make the best out of your ownership!
Hawaii + NSX? He’s LIVING!
Purple really is an amazing color on this car.
It's not the color of royalty for nothing..
I can't believe he hated it at first like why; when I found my Milano red S2000 I fell in love even with the imperfections
Imperfections add character.
Raybrig nsx is awesome!
Finally a guy that isn't afraid of driving his favorite car
This car deserves owners like this imo.
Beautiful video, I love the passion the owner had to his car and I'm totally jealous haha.
Man one of my dream cars. The 95 nsx.
Big thumbs up, I have '95 midnight pearl/black NSX here in Washington state. Absolutely love the experience of owning this car, thanks for the added inspiration (I read the road and track article about your adventurers in the NSX).
great cinematography...the angles and rolling shots of the nsx is world class; thumbs up!
thanks man! I know I don't come close to Petrolicious quality but I'll try
From one NSX owner to another NSX owner... mad Props to you buds! Wish I was able to daily mine in Canada.
I think the flip up lights are the best looking on the NSX. The newer lights on the late 90s models or the early 2000s they are all right, but I think they look best if they're tinted and I still haven't seen any of them tinted. Like if you tint the whole light, everything besides that side orange blinker, that would look siiiiick. But still, without a doubt, the flip up lights on the NSX are beast mode, absolutely perfect in design and styling for this car.
Super cool listening to his story. Really enjoyed the video.
thank you! He had way more stories (road trips, off roading) which unfortunately I couldn't fit into the video.
Really enjoyed this video. Nsx is next on my dream car list!
Nsx built so well. And so was the S2000
I own a 1991 NSX and I feel you brother! Listening to you describe your car makes me remember how special it really is. I can see how passionate you are concerning the philosophy of Honda and the LEGENDARY NSX!
do you still have her?
@CrownCookie yes indeed! And I also now have a Sazuka blue S2K parked right next to her to keep her warm! 😄
Great job on this video, can't believe I'm just now seeing it. I love Midnight Pearl!
thanks! I should really try and advertise my videos a little better :(
This is the 10th time I've watched this in a week 😍
Devon Felix I'm watching it again right now on my bus ride home..this makes it the 10th time lol
i have no words, your videos are amazing.moooore!
thanks!
more? Of course. I wish this was a full time job haha
your editing and production quality is stellar. love how simple the video is. keep up the great work!!
thank you!
Love love love NSX 👍😎
what a beautiful car
Great vid bro, you did what was in your heart and moved forward with it. I did the same with my car, I understand the feeling, the passion, and the dream. You have done a great job with an icon!!
Great video!!
Plus you make very good points.
Nice NSX, Noel... and nice vid... 👍🏽
This is vid is sooo beautiful.. killed the replay button.. xD salute to the owner of the lovely nsx :)
Happy Motoring!
Love your passion!
love the lift kit
Beautiful car. I too believe that NSX should be driven more often even though it drinks gas. After all you bought it for a reason. To drive it and Enjoy it! Hopefully this video is still here couple years from now so I can email you about the best option to have because I too want to use it as my daily driver.
It's not too horrendous with gas mileage. I average about 22mpg in mine with relatively aggressive driving.
Fantastic 👍
I drive mine every day! 300k miles and still runs like a Honda!
that was AWESOME!! Thanks for the Senna sticker and references ;-)
Video was really well done! Also love the car and the colour suits it perfectly
thank you :)
Wow I luv ur nsx the color is soo beautiful and your video is really great and I gotta say this video has made up my mind that I'm gonna get a nsx
Beautiful car Don Ho!
You Mr. Plan are just about the most awesome person, ever!
Really beautiful video, I would am looking forward to the next one : )
lol, I'll let him know
And thanks, I'm hoping to do more of this series.
This is a great review for the daily driven NSX. It might be a good idea for you to review more other cars. This review video is very well done.
Thanks George! I'll try to do more of these type of videos.
I couldnt find any reason to dislike your vid. Real nice story
I appreciate that!
Yup, me to bro. I drive my 2001 GPW everyday, my daily as well. It's clean as hell, people always think it's low miles. 180k miles on stock clutch, the S have been great to me. My plan to is to own an NSX or an Porsche 997
I love your style and passion for the nsx, and the Honda brand. Loving your legend too. Keep up the work
Sick Vid man! Keep getting better and better
thanks Keith!
so great ;D nice car , its a game changer .
What an Amazing car!
Beautiful car! Nice video mate. Wish I could drive the NSX around.
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to answer everyone's questions too (-:
of course, always glad to answer!
Nice car, I also love my super fast 1990 300zx Twin Turbo! ;)
Noe! This came out so good! Great job, you have great skills!
thanks! The owner was really flexible with his schedule which meant I could take as much footage as I can. Made it easier on me to put the video together.
keep loving what you do :)
Nice video mate
I love this series!
yeah I need to do more of this series but they take up a lot of time and a lot of people don't want to do them :(
That's a struggle :( , but I understand the amount of effort you put into it! The outcome of all of the hard work is definitely worth it!
One of my favorite NSX videos on youtube. Great job dude! The Midnight Pearl is such an incredible color on this car, love the way different lighting changes the appearance. Big fan of that front lip, any idea which manufacturer makes this?
Awesome vid man! Really love ur energy and positivity..I really hope one day I can own an Nsx 😍
I've noticed that many NSX drivers are very humble down to earth people. They seem like a really interesting group of folks and I have yet to see one snobby one. With many other supercars or rare exotic cars there's just so much snobs among the groups of people who drive them. Something about the NSX grabs the right kind of person's attention, the kind of people you'd eat lunch with and hang out and maybe hold hands for some length of time in a totally non-gay way if you know what I mean.
But on a serious note I'm serious, NSX drivers seem like really good guys in most cases. Guess quality automobiles attract quality human controllers.
Nice jdm super car nsx
In St. Augustine Florida, at a Honda dealership, they have a red, well kept Acura NSX for round 40k, No scratches, dents, dings, it's just perfect looking.
40k? man that's probably a good price nowadays.
Jarrett Hill question is auto or manual
99Lezard99
Manual
cool dude
awesome man, I daily drive mine as well just need to get an I lift system like yours lol
That’s a beautiful car buddy.I drive my mk2 TTs as a daily.Love it 🏁🍻 If you want to you can do! 😉
Damn i'm 28 and i've only seen TWO on the island of Oahu since I was aware of my car passion and that was just last year lol. Seen a handful of supras and two rx7 tho. rare as
That colour is fucking amazing. My car has similar depth but its blue!
Very uncommon color, never knew it was stock till he told me about it.
I saw you have a McLaren Honda f1 shirt. Nice!
Awesome video well done!
thank you :)
n0eLoL hey was the voice at the beginning Jerran by any chance?
The nsx did exactly what it was supposed to do A1 to since day 1
Man seeing this guy totally happy and passionate about his car, I can totally relate to the feeling. I recently got a BRZ and that's how I feel about it, but for sure I'll need to slap a supercharger on it. But on the side I want to save enough to get an S2000 for tracking and just more aggressive driving as the BRZ is sort of becoming my daily at this point, but at the same time I want to maybe not get the S2000 but wait a year or two longer, work my ass off, and just get an NSX. And by the way, I've heard that an S2000's shifter is much better than an NSX's and it's better through corners, although I highly doubt that for some reason. Anybody have experience driving both of these cars that could maybe clarify? That would be cool. But my broke ass will probably just end up getting the S2000 because it'll take me too long to save up for an NSX, they're going up in price like crazy lately. So maybe after I own the S2000 for a while and save more then maybe I could sell the S2000 and finally have enough for the NSX, you know, slowly work my way up. We'll see I guess, we'll see. But honestly, cars make me so happy. When you have a car that you take the longer route to work or the longer route home just to get more time with the car even months or years after buying it that means you've got something special, something you probably want to keep forever. It's beautiful, a beautiful connection of man and machine.
I swear before I leave this earth I'll own a nsx one day. I have a ap2 s2000 but it is something about the nsx that the s2000 doesn't have looks wise
When you local taxi company is Hawaii cabs lol
was my goal to daily drive my 300z twin turbo everyday until the snow was on the ground. Unfortunately I haven't been as successful as him
Holy crap! That voice over is Jerran, from jerranism....crazy
That's me doing the narration for the intro. The tid bit about daily driven cars?
Oh lol. Ok. Man you sound so much like jerran check him out on RUclips, his channel is jerranism or something like that, he's a flat earth speaker. You'll be amazed to how your voices are very similar. Lol
awsome
Nice! I just bought a 98 NSX in the same color!! I daily a R33 GTR haha ..GTR is faster, but I enjoy driving the NSX more :D
Owning a car type originally approved by the man himself Ayrton Senna is amazing. Too bad it is not factory stock.
wheres the 86?! Very well done video by the way!
Who has ever said you can't daily drive an NSX? It's was known as the everyday supercar when it came out in the early 90's.
it's more like the mentality of the owners, especially now, they are so afraid of taking it out, and yes you're right it was suppose to be the everyday supercar
You make really good videos! Subbed!
thank you :)
keep it as original as you can brother, but you can keep up with technology, that's all, like the HID kit, next might be a LED KiT etc...but don't touch the interior or the engine. Except the radio system if need be.
vids always dope man
thanks man :)
good night, friend the video is spectacular, I have a nsx of the year 93, I would like to know what size of wheels and rubbers you put him, since I liked that model very much.
thanks greetings
I feel like whoever designed this car wanted it to look like a ferrari mixed with a lotus esprit with out looking like one and definitely not have the price tag or quality ferrai or lottus is known for. However I love NSX's just seen so many with issues. :D
The NSX was designed by Pininfarina. Pininfarina has designed cars for both Ferrari, and Lotus as well, which is why they have slightly similar design cues.
this design is so flaweless that the added extra frontlip makes the front a little bit dated. especialy in red. The only thing i always miss on this model is the rear body pieces behind the rearwheels. The 2005 models has it and the car looks so much better and complete with it. without that the rear of the car looks to high for me.
