Makes sense to not run volume up since it interferes with audio amplifier. Not sure why they put 3 cards built around copying cards in the same set if you could only ever play 2 out of 3 of them at the same time
Overall, the deck can be fun to play, but here's my take on some of these legendaries (if you wonder to craft them or not): - Khadgar is legit terrible. He makes only the dumbest plays possible. I understand that if he was always perfect, then it'd be way too much value. But he doesn't even make average plays. You're dead on board? Here, draw some cards! - Yogg is way too slow for this deck, you won't have time to play it. By the time you get to the turn when you can play Yogg, you're either dead from aggro or should be killing your opponent instead. - Tae'thelan actually feels nice in this deck. Sometimes you generate several new lightshows and he can help to cast them in a single turn. Paired with any spell damage, this can OTK. - Mes'Adune: somehow didn't get a good chance to play it. Often, I either don't draw it or make another better play instead to survive. Mes'Adune can be good but most of the time it doesn't impact the board at all. He's not really necessary imo. - Fizzle can be good but only for really late game and it rarely gets to it. Sometimes it might be enough to generate lightshows and combo kill early. - Griftah - don't have it. But I'm not sure either way about his purpose in this deck anyway. So out of all 6 craftable legendaries the only one I consider necessary is Tae'thelan. Fizzle is not bad, you can add if you have him. Everything else - replaceable. For example, add ETC (put in Star Power against aggro, Go with the Flow for spell damage and smth else). Greedy Partners can be helpful as well.
I thought you were right at first, but here's a couple thoughts. -Griftah, hard disagree. It made absolutely no sense at first. But here's what you're missing: we have a ridiculous number of rewinds available, and the griftah spells can be rewound. If you played it right you could deal 25 damage to enemy's face in a single turn, or heal 30 hp. Also -1 spell cost to your hand can be amazing, assuming you dont get tae'thelan. -Khadgar can come in clutch sometimes. We don't have big aoe removal in this deck, so getting blizzards can save the game. But I agree, it can also fireball their silverhand recruit instead of their 12/6 with lethal -yogg is definitely slow, but I've been able to use it well a couple times. Used it to steal a Malygos in a long game, +5 spell damage on a 8x lightshow to win the game XD -Tae'thelan agree. A great play is to stack up 4-6 lightshows, play them all turn 10 -Mes'Adune agree -Fizzle agree. In theory it can double your lightshow generation, great against a priest or warrior
also I took your advice and tried ETC with star power, go with flow and volume up. It was useful a couple times, but felt really awkward to draw early. star power would help a lot against these impossible aggro decks, but 4+5 mana is extremely steep early. Idk, still seems like a great idea to have key spells in ETC, and it's surely better than mesadune. Maybe just need to find a better 3 spells
I’ve been doing well with this deck 10-5. You can win nearly every game that goes long, but my goodness, aggressive decks can steam roll you. I might take out the overplanner for heatwave.
I'm having a blast with the deck, and actually climbing a little in legend. Changed thalnos and fizzle for 2go with the flow. I think is a more flexible card and better in current meta (no more zilliax warrior)
I think you should try running this with way less lategame. You're often able to finish off games on turns 8/9, so running so much lategame seems pointless. I would just add more earlygame defense because that's what your deck struggles with I would guess
I think they there to stop any bleeding from aggro decks or when you just don't draw the pieces. I think the Zilliax modules need to change probably since patch changed the ticking module.
The point is to have a chance to comeback in games where opponent took over the board. Lightshows are extremely ineffective if opponent goes either wide or tall on board, minions soak up too much damage and you die afterwards because your other cards don't do shit against boards.
Tried a similar list and it did not perform well, especially against warrior, handbuff pala or aggro so basically most decks Perhaps it is a skill issue or those damn 2 legos that i'm missing are gamechangers!
This deck is so bad lol :P It is extremely fun and when it pops off it is so satisfying but against any sort of tempo based deck it just keels over. Such a cool idea though! You make awesome decks.
I remember one of your old lightshow decks, I actually had a 62% win rate with it!
In which Elo?

that warrior using sanitize on their huge board lmao

Can't wait to try this version out
I asked if you could do a light show deck a while back. I'm so glad to see this! Tidepool pupil fits in nicely ☺️
My best new video. Great, reliable version of lightshow mage. Good job Funki 👍🏼

Very cool and competitive deck. Was it nerfed? Don't think I've seen other RUclipsrs playing it
A version with tae'thelan ?

Hey Funki! Just wanted to say thank you for slways posting such fun decks to try. Hope youre having a good week 🖖
Loved this deck, awesome video. Thx for the code! So sad I don't have half of the legendaries
Keep up the good work, Funki
this deck is super fun, I'm currently 3-0 against odyn warrior, taunt druid,.. which is insane
I'm missing Tae'thalan so i just replaced it with Nozdormu since you uploaded on the 15th lmao
This list looks pretty cool to run!
Your list was also pretty fun! :D
Im experimenting with a version that holds carry-on Grub wich is stupid if it eats lightshow rewind XD
Mine is similar, but i have Zola the Gorgon for more tadpoles 😂
Great stuff funki! Thank you
Maybe add one mana spell ice what make on your minion spell damage
the real lightshow...
This looks fun I want a list
sooo sick
How u deal with big boards?
Conceding is the most quick way.
What’s the point of Gnomelia, Mes’Adune, Yogg and Zilliax in this deck?😅
Surely can be optimized post patch, WarShack does that often😂

Cutting those for Go With The Flow & Elemental Companion seems like an easy way to push the WR up a good 5%
@@hellbach8879 try it and let us know.

60 damage in one turn???
Thats very impresive!!!!

I loose so much but need to rent 4000 dust invest 🥴
Funki when Pain Priest?
0:3 i lose only to aggro decks no way this is playable
Erm, what the Sigma?!? xD
Must I craft Tae’thelan I really don’t want to
If you're facing too many aggro, don't craft it for sure. This deck is great in slow meta, not when you die turn 6.
It’s really not necessary for the deck, certainly a weaker card than Kadgar which also has the advantage of being playable in most other mage decks.
@@MachinegunnerMugZ Agree here, this probably would have been great pre-nerf to Hydration Station when ladder was flooded with Warriors.
Finallyyyyyy
cool, except most of my games if not all you are dead before u hit 8 mana
skill issue
Thanks for making a deck with 3 mage legendaries that saw little play
Can you repeat this
Hey guys this is not the most optimal list, you definitely want commander sevala aswell as Palladian tourist for the card that gives a spell lifesteal
wild but it takes 2 cards in deck
rommath + etc (potion of illusions, lightshow, iceblock)
infinitely scaling damage

Take it out and try heat wave so you have a chance against aggro
dont craft this deck it isnt good
bullshit deck?
