When I was making this video, there are a lot of memorable names that strike me. But there's a weird twist to it. Half of these players I didn't recognize when I was a kid watching them win it all for the first time. Like Gregor Blanco, Andres Torres, Travis Ishikawa, Jeremy Affeldt, and Aaron Rowand? Come on, like I was only 8 when this happened. But looking back now, I realized that most players on their team, including the ones I've mentioned fit well into the Giants' scheme of play. Some of them were able to get on base, some of them could hit home runs, and some of them were able to draw walks. With their pitching rotation, that's what fueled them. Matt Cain, Ryan Vogelsong, Madison Bumgarner, Tim Lincecum, Tim Hudson, Jake Peavy, Jonathan Sanchez, and Barry Zito all were key contributors to their three World Series championships. Their endless depth throughout their bullpen, with guys like Sergio Romo, Javier Lopez, Santiago Casilla, Yusmeiro Petit, George Kontos, Hunter Strickland, and Jean Machi. But yet, the hitting core is the one that came up clutch when needed. Buster Posey as their poster child, Aubrey Huff, Juan Uribe, Edgar Renteria, Cody Ross, Freddy Sanchez, Brandon Belt, Marco Scutaro, Brandon Crawford, Pablo Sandoval, Angel Pagan, Hunter Pence, Joe Panik, and Michael Morse helped their stellar pitching staff. Enjoy the nostalgia and subscribe for more content like this. - Спорт
I will never forget 2010, 2012 and 2014. They all had their own unique stories and will forever hold a special place in my heart. There’s not many days that go by that I don’t think about these three magical seasons. Go Giants!
The best time in Giants history. I will forever miss this era of Giants baseball. I miss watching Timmy pitch so much.
How lucky I was to grow up watching and being a fan of this great team. The bad times made the good times all the sweeter.
That’s exactly why I’m still watching this in 2024
You are the best
Doing the same thing at this time.
none of these giants teams were ever the best team in the league on paper. Yet they were able to win 3 world series in this time. Absolutely crazy clutch moments and pitching dominance
I bleed black and orange. Used to cut school to sit in the bleachers of Canndlestick Park for couple bucks. My wish was always to see Giants win one world series within my lifetime. Winning 3 in 5 years was just incredible.
The feelings of the 3 in 5 are so easily forgotten. I’m glad I remember to remind myself. I know we’re growing, but I hope I get to share those same feelings with my children before they leave the nest.
That 2012 series against the reds was the best, watching posey crank a grand slam to absolutely stun Cincinnati will always be one of my favorite memories of this dynasty. Also MadBum having a 5 inning save to win the WS😊
I did not realize how good Timmy was- he had the potential for greatness. Fortunately, he will always be remembered as a WS hero.
He won two Cy Youngs, pitched two no hitters, and won three World Series. Most baseball fans know how great he was.
The consistency of Joe Buck's monotone is astounding
Vogelsong in the NLCS in 2012 🔥
As a 70s and 80s Crox di Candlestick sufferer To FINALLY get over the hump in the “Torture” run in 2010 I would of been satisfied in life BUT to add 2012 and 2014… My cup is spilled over!!! Thank you for putting this together reminding us how remarkable and special this group and organization WAS.
2010 giants were amazing i miss them :(
i was 10 years old in 2010. I took these times for granted as a kid
I was 28. We’ll get there again.
Jonathan Sanchez had a hell of a year in 2010
he was a monster 09 and 10, but he kinda imploded/hot headed in the later part of post season. great Giant regardless.
Thank you for this. It was this series that got me into baseball, and into the Giants in particular.
2012 they went through a gauntlet of HOFers/ All stars (Votto, Rolen, Matt Holiday, Yadier Molina, Beltran, Berkman, Carpenter, Wainwright, Verlander, Scherzer, Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder, Porcello (Cy Young winner)) to win the World Series- incredible
add KC's Perez..he's getting into HOF dude's a beast.
sweeping the Tiger's was uber impressive. beat one of the greatest pitchers(Max) and one of the greatest hitters (Miggy).
This is absolutely one of the greatest video I have ever seen! Well put together! Thank you 👏🏽
I was at every one of these games, but I forgot that it all started with a complete game shutout / 2hit / 14k masterpiece of Timmy's. Those were amazing years
Thank you so much for this. The best style I’ve seen so far besides the professions docu-series they did a while back!
Sandoval should NEVER have went to Boston...
Cody Ross hitting tanks like crazy!
Those giants teams were mentally tough and played like a team, not flashy but they got it done when it counted.
Nate Schierholtz had one of the best arms in baseball, that dude could throw!
he had so many assists. gunned down a shit ton of baserunners.
As a giants fan i always loved lincecum sergio Wilson cain and everyone else
Renteria, Uribe and Sanchez were fuckin' clutch defense!
The movement on that fastball (1:13)..is absolutely deadly
After winning Game 6 in Philly in 2010, against that powerhouse Phillies team that had been to the World Series each of the two years prior, I knew they were finally gonna do it. There was no stopping them at that point. The Rangers had no shot.
Same case in 2012 after they came back from being down 3-1 against the Cardinals, there was no stopping them at that point either. Verlander, Scherzer, and the Tigers' pitching staff be damned.
2014 was not as confident. By that point, the age and cracks were beginning to show a bit as guys like Cain, Romo, Timmy, and Casilla were getting past their prime. And that Royals team was very much like we were in 2010, that squad filled with young studs that believed their time had come. But that experience and Madison freaking Bumgarner having the greatest World Series you will ever see from a Starting Pitcher, was just enough to get us over the top for #3.
That 5 year run was just magical. And I'll never forget it for as long as I live.
Thank you Giants! 🧡🖤
Finally! I have been waiting 10 years for literally any youtuber to make a documentary about the Giant's run. Thanks man!
Wait wtf this isnt a documentary! :(
@rowangraves7327 sorry man it's only highlights but I'll let you and others know when I'll be doing voiceovers (and yes these vids will include the Giants
people forget how awesome timmy actually was aside from his amazing character. miss the 2010 giants and bochys dome lol
I miss this era of baseball. It’s so depressing that the Giants suck now.
You’re showing your age. I watched the Giants in the late 70s and early 80s. Now those teams really sucked.
The heartened. There is hope with this team.
We don’t suck. WE ARE GROWING AND LEARNING. WE. WILL. GET. THERE. AGAIN.
No one gonna talk about renterias sliding tag at 13:54
Ibanez really struggled 2010 NLCS
Petit 🤯
Matt Cain & Bumgarnee could rip
New favorite video
Same
i got clean up in 2010 if you know what I mean
Boach really trusted his starters
408th like. ^^
Cmon you gotta show alex gordons hit at the end lol
2010 was a team of misfits with elite pitching. team was too young and dumb....no team's getting by them. they were a buzzsaw.
2012 was the cockroach team... they wouldn't go away with game elimination games vs the reds and cards. pitching in World Series was lights out... night night.
2014 was the well oiled veteran team. madbum? lights out pitching. chip no. 3.
These strike zones were huge hahaah
Cody Ross >
Before they went woke this was an amazing decade of Giants baseball! I went to game 1 and 2 of the WS at ATT in 2012 and it was the time of my life!
it was not a dynasty in 2010. It would be later.
Yea you think so?
@@408feet yes. A dynasty only happens over time.
@@408feet don't get me wrong. I love the misfits of 2010 and was there in SF for the parade. It's magic in 2012 and it's only a DYNASTY in 2014. It takes time.
@@distractionb Over time is now my friend...10 years after and in hindsight can be called a dynasty yk?
@@distractionb I get your perspective and its respectful enough if you feel you gotta call me out and say something I always encourage that...in fact it's a lifestyle for me. However I can rebuttal just a bit and say in hindsight you can call this a dynasty (which 3 championships in 5 years can absolutely be considered one)
Please do a dodger dynasty video.
What dynasty?
Gotta have a dynasty first
Yeah, what dynasty the Dodgers choke every year in the playoffs
LMAO what Dynasty? A dynasty of choking
No dynasty the dodgers just Die Nasty
I hate the giants. My most hated team ever.
Wtf is wrong with you
I hate the dodgers. My most hated team ever. All they do is spend money and try to buy championships. They will still lose in the first round of the playoffs with Ohtani.
Why? Because we won more championships in 4 years than you guys have in 40 despite spending billions more? Get fucked
They will go 161-1 to lose to the D-Backs in the NLDS...again.
Too bad the current Giants are a shit show due to Farhan Ziadi not knowing what the hell he's doing.
