Miss my black 88 beretta, with the digital dash! Love taking that car to triple digit speeds. A definite sleeper on the street, under a 100 mph.

They should bring the Beretta back! How cool would a 2022 or 2023 model be?!

Sadly, they won't. GM would have to pay to use the name, since it belongs to a gun manufacturer, and the market for 2 door coupes is still not that high.

It could rival the Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ, Hyundai Veloster, and Volkswagen GTI. It might be crazy enough to work. Never say never man!!!! You're talking to an auto fanatic.

They were actually a decent car for the times with the 2.8 V6. I sold them back then and had one of the first ones in NYC as a demo. The first builds had rear speaker attachment issues. One would be driving along listening to music and then the sound got much quieter. Rear speakers would just fall into the trunk! That was fixed quickly. Had a GTU which again for the time was a cool car. The Corsica was the 4 door version and had some of them too

@@toyoscio That's what we wanted to know. But to me, this car is very cool and sleek that's all I can tell you in my own opinion.

@@markelijio6012 So true it was. Maybe the poster was laughing about the design and build quality of some 80s cars.

I agree. I knew I guy who had one. He got it used but, it was only like 4-5 years old tops. And inside, there were plenty of squeaks and rattle sounds from the poorly fitted plastic interior. I could tell that car was gonna give him plenty of trouble and... it did! 😄
