Come to think of it, Tengen only retired because he wanted to, because although he probably wouldn't be able to be a hashira anymore with an impaired vision and a missing limb, he could damn well still slay demons with no issues But oh well, i'm honestly glad he's gone from the Demon Slayer Corps before the infinity castle arc. Because honestly, Tengen had the best ending out of the whole cast, he served the corps along with his wives and played a big role in Tanjiro's development, went out in one of the best battles in the series, then, having never unlocked the mark, he got to retire and live out the rest of his days with his wives
The fact that Tanjiro able to pass his training pretty quickly shows how much he has accomplished and hard work does pay off During the first season he struggled a lot at butterfly mansion , to the pony even Zenitsu and Inosuke does better than him , and his hard work , keep training every time he got a chance really help him progress and pass other slayers And even after he passes Muichiro and Tengen he still struggles with Gyomei and Sanemi ‘s training shows that sometimes even with hard work there is still a lot to go , and still a lot to learn . And you can work hard and still fails , yet hard work still get you somewhere since season 1 Tanjiro will not pass those

They definitely have differences, but I think making their facial expressions and eye colors very more would have been beneficial. Having irregular eye colors and hair colors seems fairly normal for the demon slayers so I’d like to see a bit more of that with these side characters.

Well unlike anime might suggest, most people in Japan have black hair and eyes, they are going to look really similar but the slightest bit different.
