honestly erica is the only one i've seen so far who can merge elements of hip hop so seamlessly with contemporary (and i mean REAL contemporary!) she deserves more credit for her ingenuity and talent!!

Erica’s feet distracts me greatly from this beautiful dance. I can tell the floor is dirty but it does take away the beauty of the whole picture. But I really love this choreography to bit, awesome dancing, awesome choreography, beautiful shapes and musicality. Flawless technique, well done, I’m in love!
I completely agree! It's a stunning dance, no doubt about that, but you couldn't have taken a few moments to have her wash up for a dance that includes so many toe points and kicks? And they weren't even a little bit dirty, they were so filthy that they were black.
Really...? Y'all are worried about the dirt on her feet? I think it actually gives more to it, gives it that grit. You look at most contemporary dancers feet, and they're gunna look like that after hours of rehearsing and then finally filming and being done. The last thing anyone is thinking about in the moment is "oh no, her feet are dirty, quick get the wash bucket". It also shows just how much effort and work went into this.

It's controlling, manipulative, and gritty. She is the puppet, he is the master, and even in the end she can't cut her strings. The dirt on their feet was the last thing I noticed, and I'm sorry if you disagree. Their knees are dirty, elbows, legs, even his shirt is dirty on his stomach. They are in a warehouse. The dirt IS the aesthetic.
