my apologies... but this tutorial is way too fast. And it's not set up to show people what you're doing. Plus, the screen is super blurry so I can't even see what you're clicking. Even rewinding, I can't even follow what you're doing.
Like why even do the trouble of the rest if just going into safe boot changing owner and then changing start sequence to 4 stops it from starting the process jw?
finally after all this struggles against this SERVICE (poping on in the middle of gaming that was taking CPU RAM AND DISK usage a lot) i couldnt remove it, THEN i saw this amazing video !! THANK U BRO !!!
Thanks alot bro ive been gettin 100% cpu for a few weeks now because of this and have tried tutorial after tutorial and none of them worked until i found this video. You were able to solve my problem in a couple minutes.
Deleting mmc made me unable to open services, device manager, disk management, computer management, event viewer, task scheduler and other windows administrative tools. You ruined my day.
Thank you, Bro. I've tried several things over the last year, but nothing has worked for me. But your instruction is simple, quick, and easy to understand.
Hey @Savitarax I see many youtubers tweak settings but no measurable comparisons are shown to validate such changes. Especially when it comes to latency, I can understand if it takes to long to make such a video but you or other viewers maybe tuning down a rabbit hole with results that may do more harm than good or not much changes at all. I see this with other youtubers like FR33THY aswell. Would you be able to show some before and after comparisons with these settings? (Bar graphs are cool to!) In the example of Battle(non)sense they measure latency settings changes with LDAT or a high speed camera to validate settings changes which also led to the creation of Nvidia reflex to reduced latency. I can understand if your just doing this as a hobby, but I'd rather mention it to someone who has made some really useful guides like GPU core locking, its so underrated!
For some of my guides like DPC latency. You can verify this with a tool such as Latencymon, which independently allows you to see the latency values of the interrupts you bind to specific cores. Same with the interrupt affinity tool guide since it is an iteration on that original video. And as for other guides like CSRSS.exe/priority separation. That would require tools like LDAT which are impossible to get. For the guide around locking GPU core clock and disabling CPU idle states. You can easily verify these as true because this is a commonly held knowledge that fluctuating clocks lead to increase lag and can also affect your framerate. You can actually verify this easily by going into a game and turning on speedstep/speedshift/c-states etc which tamper with the cpu frequency. And you will notice that the frametime graph will look very sporadic. I wish I could get tools like LDAT. Sadly they aren't available for retail and nvidia only gives them out to reviewers who also receive GPU's. And high speed cameras cost thousands of dollars. I could try to make a video with a stock windows default settings and then compare it with all of the tricks I've shown here. It'll take some time but it's doable. Most of my guides I only like to show if I can have some very high certainty around them. Such as process lasso/interrupts/clock fixing/ram tuning. Because most of these are not really windows tweaks as much as they are hardware tweaks. Thank you for the comment and hopefully I can publish something in the near future related to this.
sort of in line with my previous comments. The reason I show antimalware service being removed as a guide is because this service is notorious for causing issues. If you play any game with only a 2-4 core cpu. Antimalware will throttle at random points and for some people it can be intense. So that's a reason I post a guide for it. Because it's such an easy process to outline that reduces performance.
So if I just use IO blocker, how much memory will be used when windows is trying to reinitiate the defender, and causing errors in the event viewer? i don't care about the event viewer showing errors, i'm just wondering how much system usage is going on here.... ?
Dude omg. I swear to god I watched like 30 videos and none of them worked. I did exactly what you said doesn’t work 😂. This way worked thank you so much.
literally safe mode is the answer. I tried posting this to the windows forum and reddit. I argued with the reddit mod and he banned me from the sub for essentially telling the truth about needing safe mode. Anyway, Thanks for making this video.
How do I enable it back? The reason is it makes an error in settings app when going to network settings etc. The error is “System Detected Stack-Based Buffer Overrun in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a macious user to gain control of this application.“
I only have 4 cpu core on system configuration , im not fcking bot that do comments on some of the channels , antimalware usage are too annoying when youre a low end pc user gamer, and your video helps me to fcking delete that thanks a lot man!
tried to do this but windows kept denying me permissions halfway through. now windows defender wont turn on? "Threat service has stopped. Restart it now." anyone got any fixes?
at first it was hard to follow through what he was saying, but you can zoom in the video and see what file or part of the system configuration he was doing. Kudos it worked! 2024 Windows 11 user here. Game crashes because of high CPU usage which was the Antimalware Service Executable was doing. Thank you! PS: Your PC is at risk because windows defender is not functioning anymore. Maybe look for other antivirus software out there. Thanks again bro! Keep it up. Liked and subscribed here.
Hey @Savitarax , Help please!!! I'm on windows 11 and I followed all your instructions but still can't change the owner even in the safe boot minimal!!! Please give me a fix or at least tell me how i can restore msmpeng.exe.
Thanks brother this was the only video that worked after a long research and can you make a video of showing the one and only video for optimization of windows for low end pc gaming
I removed msmpeng but wasnt able to log back into my pc due to an error 'something happend and your pin is unavailable'. Had to run system restore to login again.
wow, the font is so small that I cant even understand whats going on on the screen with 720p resolution. You dont even mention the version of windows this is... Too fast for me unfortunately
Great except not showing which accounts to remove controls for as many machines lists will vary. Leaving the missing key to proper fix. Then changing permissions back after to avoid regedit security risks
Just go in reverse. The only thing I recommend is to select Unlock & Rename instead of Unlock & Delete so the file can remain in the directory with a different name...adding and underscore to the end of the filename is highly suggested so that you don't have to remember the actual name. Otherwise, repeat the steps backward until your renaming the filename back...and back to having a higher performance issues because the antimalware service will be catching up in the background from not being on the scene.
It's a hidden directory. There are methods to uncheck and view the hidden files and folders, but just open windows explorer on your Local Disk (C:) drive and add ProgramData to the address bar. ENTER. Just locate the file in explorer and drag-n-drop in iobit, or an even easier method, right-click on file and select iobit from explorer window.
You either need to run it as administrator. Take ownership of the application or disable tamper protection/exection within your bios/bcdedits etc. Disabling/deleting the antimalware service doesn't change this part of the windows operating system. Things like defender smartscreen/DEP do
is there any need to do the rest of the proccess that causes he errors in event viewer? or does this not matter really can leave as the simple first start of the tutorial just removing it?
Hi, how can i possibly renable win defender, cause when i try to enable it from windows settings, it says that there's an error or something is missing, thanks.
One thing about RUclips is that if you keep looking for what you want you find... Damn ...I am happy there are smart people like you in our world ❤

hi help,, even if i go to safe mode i still cant change the value of the start. I am using a ROG Ally
Not very step by step i have zero idea what program you used

I was able to remove the exe but when I go into safe mode to change the owner, it says I don't have access
what was the previous video where u explained how to delete the antimalware service executable?
the governmen removed it because antimalware executable is actually spyware by windows constantly checking your file system
