I love that Black Square restored the Bonanza to its original genuine Doctor Killer format! All those easy glass displays and lack of high-fidelity cockpit in the Asobo version makes doctor killing a bit more of a challenge for this plane! It will be raining doctors from the sky now thanks to another excellent mod from Black Square!
It's much better, and more enjoyable to fly too... They've once again done a fantastic job 🙂
If it was a V one it would have been the perfect doctor killer
@@LuigiDelussu don't forget the polished wood instrument panel to make it complete!
@@vincebagadonis8016 of course, doctors are rich people so full optionals
I love what Black Square is doing. I have the previous two; the Caravan and King Air. I'll be purchasing this and the Baron. I love glass cockpits but like these steam gauge versions. Thanks for letting us know that the mod for the Bonanza will not interfere with this. I was wondering about that. The mod for the Caravan appears to interfere with my steam gauge Caravan so I removed it.
The King Air is fantastic, though haven't flown it for a while and haven't got the caravan (but heard only good things!). Love the extra depth the products offer - adds a lot of character back to the aircraft too
Thanks for this. Very impressive bit of work by Black Square and it bodes well for their overhaul of the Baron...which I am very much looking forward to.
That's not too long away now either - perhaps a few weeks after the Bonanza release :)
I wasn’t very interested in these overhauls, until they did the king air. After spending a lot of time with with the KA, black square are one of my favourite developers on the scene for any platform.
I’ll be waiting for the Baron version of this, purely because I prefer flying twins.
You won't have to wait too long by the sounds of it 🙂
Great review ...nice and relaxed .
What fantastic mods are coming out for the sim these days...amazing 😀
It's in a great place now isn't it compared to original release!
Blk Sqr could turn there hand to a lot of the standard planes, not just for steam gauges but reworks of glass cockpits to make them more realistic and fun to fly. Love the Maintenance, wear options.
Nice, customisable levels of immersion 🙂
Nice preview Luke, very detailed aircraft👍
Great to hear! ✈️🙂
I’m a big fan of BkSq, I have all of their addons for Msfs and can’t wait to get my hands on the next two.
Thanks for this, great video per usual! I like the bonanza but stopped flying it because it just wasn't up to snuff per say, this changes things.
Great to hear! It's one I also overlooked, love the extra immersion the BS products provide!
Very nice video, Airplane looks very detailed and good, must have for they who like fly smal GA aircraft
Thanks MPS! They've done a great job once again
@@BritishAvgeek yes indeed but I come not by it becouse I almost never fly GA I have Just flight Piper PA 28 complete bundle think I have use it 2 times and its good aircraft too
Could you explain how this doesn't conflict with the improvment mod, is it because one selects the blacksquare in the hanger and not the default.. So this pretty much makes the improvement mod void (quite right too).
Buying a steam gauge and then flying it with GPS is particularly convincing. The funniest instrument is the KNS 80 but is ignored by all.
Great video. Quick question: what is the app that popped out the landing rate just as you touched down?
ruclips.net/video/HfleeslqOPA/видео.html 👌
I wish they would do this for the V-35B V tail Bonanza.
That would be cool
It's interesting that the two windsocks in the video are facing in opposite directions?
Yep the usual MSFS scenery issue with a misplaced windsock 🤣
The default TBM had opening doors built in from Day one, it just wasn't available to us end users until an add-on producer 'discovered' that and enabled it. I wonder if that is true for any other b1rds?
Had no idea that was found with the TBM! Who knows, perhaps someone will find a way in the future but for now we'll have to wait and see I guess!
@@BritishAvgeek Yeah, when the 'TBM Improvement Project' was first released, I thought the creator actually did whatever needed to be done to the model to have opening doors, but turns out they were already there, and all he did was enable it. This is not rumor, he confirmed that to me personally. I have no idea why Asobo would go to the trouble of creating that, and then release it sans that feature, but they did.
Opening doors isn't really that big of a deal, but to me it's a sign of a study level craft for someone to take the time to do it. This is not in anyway taking away from what Black Square did, as soon as they hit the button to make it available, I'm buying it, because I think the way the model works, it can't be done without starting from scratch, which I don't expect for the price of this, but with that one exception, this looks outstanding.
I may end up getting all of their old school overhauls, especially if they are truly up to the standards of this one.
I've been craving a study level GA plane that is faster than a 172, and just picked up the 414 from Flysimware, and I'm loving it, so this will be another. I have the Arrows, too, but just like in real life, they're a bit squirrely, and the altitude hold, which doesn't exist in real life, but in real life a good trim is a poor man's alt hold in smooth air at least, is a bit flaky so I've tended to avoid it.
But with this, and the TDS which I also just picked up, the GA future is looking bright indeed. As much as I love the Fenix and FBW Airbuses, they get a bit boring, as once you are done programming the box, take off, and turn George on, you're just a passenger with a better view.
Microdoft don't allow to modify the 3D models for payware mods. Only for freeware and for aircraft of the basic version of the game like the TBM, and Cessna 152 or C172 G1000. Not allowed for the Cessna 172 steam gauges because part of the De Luxe version. I find it stupid but ... this are rules ...
One of my favourite planes on Xbox, I just wish there was more of a study level one for Xbox with the G1000
That's fair, the issue with Xbox is the way it's entirely restricted to the marketplace sadly. It's an entirely different experience (and market)
There is a C90 on the marketplace, do you think BlackSquare can get a hold of that?
Good question, I'm not sure to be honest!
This may beat out the JF Arrow for me. Specially since JF is taking nearly a year now to fix their pitch jerk issue.
Bit of aggro going on in the ground training school before take-off! :-)
😂 a very excitable person in the window!
How can you not like a Bonanza?!?
🙌
That is only for PC, right?
Currently yes, unless they add it to the MSFS Marketplace in future
@@BritishAvgeek hopefully the next update 12, this would be possible.
Thanks for the review, but please in future consider killing the music, it's distracting.
It's set to a very quiet level and there as a background so there's no silent moments. At key points the music is faded to mute for engine start for example but I take the point that not everyone enjoys the music and whilst some like it being there, others don't and I try to strike a careful balance
Not having doors that open is cheesy. They advertise and produce a wonderful modification, but leave this fundamental aspect out of their offering. It really is a lousy feature of Black Square.
not quite correct there Thomas - Absolutely zero the developer can do about that one. That's the curse that comes with using the Asobo models. The cockpit window does open, though, with all associated effects and sounds. Thanks for your interest.
It sure would be nice but as JustFlight mentioned (and I mentioned in the video too) the default model is the restriction here
@@BritishAvgeek I know in the Asobo King Air, the side windows don’t open, yet in their version they do, so why have rules for doors but not windows?
@@obriets no idea to be honest!
Working sun-visors is the only extra functionality I wish they’d include in this mod
Doors work?
@@Hani_Santa no, I did say in the video the doors don't work but the window latch does
@@BritishAvgeek Aah k Hmmm, so easy to also modify that a shame really for such a great package.
They do work in all the Black Square aircraft.
@@Hani_Santa I heard that they are not allowed to modify the doors as a pay ware; only freeware.
