Just run, no skill moves. He is not a baller.
If he wants to shake off a few defenders and make them go completely into the wrong way, he need to learn to be more skillful. He can learn from Sanchez.

His touch technique is incredible, he always hits the ball with his feet the correct distance to run at maximum pace. That is an incredibly difficult skill, he just does it naturally. If he keeps disciplined and looks after himself the sky is the limit for this kid.

@@Familyguylofi no he's not. Martenilli is superb, and a different type of player. I can honestly say I've never seen someone as good as esr at just pure running with the ball at speed. Martenilli is very fast and might knock the ball a few yards ahead of him, but has the speed to catch up. Esr the ball is never more than a yard away from his feet. Its sensational

So comfortable with the weaker foot especially while running, switches seamlessly between left or right foot - uses which ever is best placed to advance the ball quicker. As Wenger once said about a similar good on the half turn, strong runner from deep: Abou Diaby, "he gets attracted to the opposition goal like a magnet".

Remind me of Wilshere..superb direct dribbling but without Jack unnecessary baiting tackle habbit which led to his constant injuries. ESR got goals in him, just need to improve his contribution across 90mins.. there were some games where he totally was quite or gone missing. Very impressive for young lad nonetheless.

The longer I watched the video, the more I believe ESR is suited for the wing rather than CAM at this stage. Fast, great dribbles, and exploits free space really well, with & without the ball. Not super flashy, but confident and effective in his dribbling and shooting.
Ødegaard fits the central role better because of his vision, magic touch and technical ability. He can really dominate the midfield and be the director of our offense & team press.
Arsenal are having trouble fitting in Saka, Martinelli, ESR, and Odegaard all at once, but I can’t wait until that lineup is fully unleashed and backed up by a strong defensive & midfield spine. Fuck I’m so excited as an Arsenal fan

@@mosesphiri7183 no way,Odegaard should be an 8 coz of the way he dominates and controls the midfield and ESR a 10 coz of the way he is good at progressing the ball forward

One of Arsenal FC biggest issues post 2008 has always and remains to be conversion of chance's. We take it to casual or is it unlucky... Take notice of how we perform when we have multiple players taking chance's and putting it in the back of the net. Then even in games we narrowly lost or drew we have 2-3 chance's that we just didn't take. That for me has been a bug. We need to up our game.
