Thank you for saying this, everyone seems to have forgotten that Loki is a shapeshifter and I wish we could get more of it because it’s such an important part of the character in both the comics and actual mythology.
I really want him and Luke to star in a purposefully very dark lit movie starring just the two of them. Leave the audience unable to tell who’s talking throughout most of the movie. Just for the fun of it.

You can see what looks like a clue of temporal stands to the left, going through the machine, and coming out the other end as a single strand. If this is true, my guess is that this is the same machine He Who Remains used to originally create the sacred timeline.
