Sync Addy All i did in the campaign was wait till kevin spacy became the antagonist but hey, personal preferences. not going to argue about that. For me, the campaign was slack, it was too "clean". like, you don't stress when you play the campaign. So that's why, story gets me at the edge of my seat and AW lacked the story. it was way too simple, way too futuristic to be gritty and knowledgable. There were two missions that had felt good, just good...the mission on the snow. (My bad, i forgot what it's called) and the first mission in korea but really, you don't feel any sympathy for irons.

Then next year, I'll watch the next CoD trailer for their next "revolutionary" game that's proclaimed to be different than any of its predecessor, and repeat the whole buying-and-selling process again. I am sick and tired of gamers these days who complain about games before they even come out. This must stop. COD has been poor lately due to same gameplay with a linear campaign. Maybe the exo suits will change the gamplay and will let us approach situations the way we want to approach them, maybe the campaign will revolve around our choices, maybe the multiplayer will have great new modes with more interactive maps. Each map can have its own unique flavour. We don't know because we haven't played it yet so stop complaining.

i don't get the hate. Yes ghosts was terrible( for most people me included) but this is sledgehammer. The franchise is moving into a different direction to try and revitalise itself. It doesn't look bad and the graphics are good. Please reserve judgement until the game comes out. Call of duty doesn't get anymore chances to "revitalize" itself. Year after year very poor efforts to improve the franchise has faltered. Not many people will admit call of duty has declined either because there fairly new to the franchise or remain in denial. But this isn't the "cod" that's going to "revolutionize" the series. But what does Iw,Sh,Treyarch care? As long as the game has guns and is playable then people will buy anything. Not me, I expect more from them

I loved the twist they put on it. Was not expecting it at all and even admired ole’ john for taking the chance. I was sad that I had to fight against my comrades afterwards but literally creating a weapon like that is just a step too far. All he had to do was wait, bid his time and make the right calls. Especially with how American is right now, he could’ve easily taken American without firing a single bullet. Especially if he deals with our owners with no one the wiser. Would’ve united humanity.

Am I the only one who thinks the future combat and exoskeleton abilities could make the online fun again? Keep in mind we really haven't seen the online, but if they add these technologies it could breath new life into the franchise. It's what I thought was wrong with Black Ops 2 and Ghosts, it didn't take any risks as far as online, big risk in story telling but definitely not in the online, their bread and butter. The combat was almost exactly the same with a few weak gadgets and some stupid drones, the fun stuff only accessible if you were an absolute badass or hacker. It's why we got so excited for Titan Fall, it was taking a risk by shaking up the first person shooter genre with a new type of combat and play style, it just didn't have the resources and it didn't have the scope to push it further. I'm just being optimistic at it's possibilities, will have to wait and see if it's as disappointing as people are already making it out to be.
I don't understand, as a fan of WW2 and I love to play in that time era, why do we keep on wanting a COD back then? What can we innovate on back then? You need to go by books, and history won't change. Sure, Black Ops was its own story mixed with history, but I frankly am bored of that! I wasn't a huge fan of the futuristic story of Black Ops 2, nor Advanced Warfare but that changed after seriously thinking of our future. Exo- Skeleton that is in development is what we will see soon.. Corrupt government leaders... all this ties into effect. Also, you can NEVER go wrong when making a game about the future. It's because we don't know what the future holds. This game is a seller for the story itself, and I can't wait to see the Multiplayer and COOP aspect. Congrats, Sledgehammer! Keep on the great work.
I think a fun game that the creators of Call of Duty could make would be a Call of Duty based in World War I, named "Call of Duty: A War to End All Wars" (I haven't really liked the Call of Duty games past World at War, if they invested a lot into campaign mode people might start playing the games mainly for the campaigns, instead of how it is now, where people buy it just for the multiplayer)

Maybe the exo suits will change the gamplay and will let us approach situations the way we want to approach them, maybe the campaign will revolve around our choices, maybe the multiplayer will have great new modes with more interactive maps. Each map can have its own unique flavour. We don't know because we haven't played it yet so stop complaining.

Everyone keeps saying they hate ghosts, or they think call of duty as a whole is going downhill and everyone keeps saying they want WWll cod again or that BO2 was the best and they just hate change. Even if they havnt even played the game yet! Everyone favors a cod and then refuses to even consider playing any other cod because they just want the same old thing over and over again. People criticize WAY too much, especially since all their assumptions are based on what the trailer looks like.

I hate that some people only care for Multiplayer. I for one love playing the Campaign BEFORE Multiplayer so I know how to use weapons and what attachments and equipment properly.

i don't get the hate. Yes ghosts was terrible( for most people me included) but this is sledgehammer. The franchise is moving into a different direction to try and revitalise itself. It doesn't look bad and the graphics are good. Please reserve judgement until the game comes out. Also just on a side note, people saying cod has sucked for ages, black ops 2 was pretty good and zombies is amazing. Also kevin spacey people!!!
It's mainly the COD purists and overly patriotic kids wondering why they're not working for the U.S. . It looks somewhat promising, I'll give it that. But I'm not keeping hopes up. I'll wait for some worthwhile reviews.
Call of duty doesn't get anymore chances to "revitalize" itself. Year after year very poor efforts to improve the franchise has faltered. Not many people will admit call of duty has declined either because there fairly new to the franchise or remain in denial. But this isn't the "cod" that's going to "revolutionize" the series. But what does Iw,Sh,Treyarch care? As long as the game has guns and is playable then people will buy anything. Not me, I expect more from them

I will admit, it seems they finally updated the engine/visuals to be worthy of being called "next gen"
I loved the twist they put on it. Was not expecting it at all and even admired ole’ john for taking the chance. I was sad that I had to fight against my comrades afterwards but literally creating a weapon like that is just a step too far. All he had to do was wait, bid his time and make the right calls. Especially with how American is right now, he could’ve easily taken American without firing a single bullet. Especially if he deals with our owners with no one the wiser. Would’ve united humanity.
I really like what sledgehammer is doing here! They researched a lot of stuff to make they're game as realistic as possible and they seem to have the story on track. I do hope we get a cod in the past again but this looks awesome for now

Am I the only one who thinks the future combat and exoskeleton abilities could make the online fun again? Keep in mind we really haven't seen the online, but if they add these technologies it could breath new life into the franchise. It's what I thought was wrong with Black Ops 2 and Ghosts, it didn't take any risks as far as online, big risk in story telling but definitely not in the online, their bread and butter. The combat was almost exactly the same with a few weak gadgets and some stupid drones, the fun stuff only accessible if you were an absolute badass or hacker. It's why we got so excited for Titan Fall, it was taking a risk by shaking up the first person shooter genre with a new type of combat and play style, it just didn't have the resources and it didn't have the scope to push it further. I'm just being optimistic at it's possibilities, will have to wait and see if it's as disappointing as people are already making it out to be.

I don't understand, as a fan of WW2 and I love to play in that time era, why do we keep on wanting a COD back then? What can we innovate on back then? You need to go by books, and history won't change. Sure, Black Ops was its own story mixed with history, but I frankly am bored of that! I wasn't a huge fan of the futuristic story of Black Ops 2, nor Advanced Warfare but that changed after seriously thinking of our future. Exo- Skeleton that is in development is what we will see soon.. Corrupt government leaders... all this ties into effect. Also, you can NEVER go wrong when making a game about the future. It's because we don't know what the future holds. This game is a seller for the story itself, and I can't wait to see the Multiplayer and COOP aspect. Congrats, Sledgehammer! Keep on the great work.

I think a fun game that the creators of Call of Duty could make would be a Call of Duty based in World War I, named "Call of Duty: A War to End All Wars"
(I haven't really liked the Call of Duty games past World at War, if they invested a lot into campaign mode people might start playing the games mainly for the campaigns, instead of how it is now, where people buy it just for the multiplayer)
