I love Charles mom, she is a pistol, i would love to talk to her, she has surely seen and heard a lot. I also really enjoyed the owner of the first estate, he was so friendly, and his enthusiasm for his estate was great. I hopel Charles gets his wife involved with the castle, i can see his love for it, and his vision of the future return of the gardens is wonderful, along with the cafe. You are such a gracious host Julie, i love how you interview on the fly, but your honest excitement makes me smile, especially when you asked if anyone ever swam in that last pool with the water fall, because i knew you were thinking to yourself that you would take a dip in it. The 4 feet of muck and leaves in the first estate would not be a place to swim, but i laughed when he told you that. I grew up in the country, and in Michigan, we would swim in a pond with natural spring's that my grandpa dug quite a lot bigger, and some places you did have a little muck, but it was great fun for my siblings and cousin's. We would sometimes swim at the end of March, a bit cold, but as kid's it was fine, and in winter we skated on the ice which was fun. I miss the 70's and 80' s simplicity. G-d bless.
I love the expression “spiritual heir” and the living persons exemplifying it are Julie and Luke. We’ve met so many other such heirs through the American Vicountess channel.
Hello from Olympia Fields, Illinois! I've been binge watching your channel this weekend, and my favorite episode was when you were getting your place ready for the tour, and you and your husband were asking A.I. questions, and one of the answers talked about hopes for a kind soul to take care of the place. That's definitely you! Can't wait to see more!!

We are going to try our new roses in this cardboard method as we have always puzzled as to why some new roses didn’t thrive and then died.
Always enjoy these videos!!!!
I’ve already seen this video before. I got excited for NOTHING NEW 😂😂
We are supposed to get up to 12 inches of snow tonight. Love all the green as it is very gray in Kansas lol

Welcome aboard!
I had a rose garden.
We tried that and using anti fungal powder as well.
Sadly it didn't work.
this is a repeat😢😢
Thanks for letting us know. I wondered about that. I wish Julie would make that clear.
Wondering if this family is associated with Barclays Bank ? Does anyone know?
Remind me.
Does Julie live at Mapperton House?
Does she have anything to do with sandwiches?
Yes & Yes......married to the next Earl of Sandwich.
Go to Mappleton live to see Julie and Luke at home running Mappleton
