Love your room. You could start hosting knit night for all your knitting buddies! It's so great to have your own space!
Lovely podcast, beautiful garments. I love knitting, too. I love the feeling of a simple ball/skein of yarn turning into something. Definitely exciting and therapeutic! Happy knitting to you both!!
Always glad to see a new episode pop up. Slow but steady progress on lots of WIP's is my knitting style, too.
Love seeing all these projects…you are my favorite knitting podcast! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Thank you so much! Happy Knitting!
I'm always so happy to watch you two! Kaity, I'm so glad you mentioned JEMS Luxe Yarn. I have gotten to know Judy and Emily and join their Knit Night each Tuesday. They are lovely, and their yarn is beautiful! I made the Eva Cardigan Junior sweater for 2 of my grandsons, and I like the way The Petite Knitter designs her shoulders. Diana, you knitting room is lovely!! It must be so peaceful to knit in there. I have not used Knitting for Olive yet, but I'm anxious to do so. And, I just finished a Treoro sweater--great easy pattern!! Have fun with all your knits!
You mentioned that knitting calms your spirit. I just read in the book, Crochet for Dummies, the following: "The soothing rhythm of creating stitches can calm even the most frazzled nerves." So true!!!!!
Wonderful color combination on the pink socks!
Once again a very entertaining episode. Watching it while (fun factor) am knitting on my first sabai. It really it a fun and quick knit.
Thank you ladies. Great podcast. Knitting calms me too. I love the new knitting room. Cheers from SoCal
Always a joy to catch up with you two!
Love your podcast and all the beautiful projects you shared
You are both so sweet and enjoyable to watch! Thank you!!
You all are so sweet to watch! I’m also in Kentucky ❤️
Oh neat! Thanks for watching!! - Kaity
Another fab episode! So glad you're still doing the show! Remember at the start. you weren't sure? I missed the premiere by 'this' much! The sneak peek of your knitting room and loved that it became a hub when you were having your knit'n'natter together in there - sounds like you might need a sofa in there too! Watching whilst crocheting with size 80 thread and an 0.5mm hook! Take care and look forward to seeing you again soon.🧶💐
I always love your podcast. I also have The Sock Project Book and love it. I've made several of the patterns so far. I did 3 pair of shorty Flea Stitch socks for my granddaughters for Christmas.
Thank you so much for another lovely episode: your knits are all beautiful. Frogging is part of the knitting experience and don't every feel bad about having to frog something: it's no fun knitting something you don't like/love. So nice you can knit together in your new room and have others join you: it sounds like you have a wonderful family. Love watching your episodes.
I'm always blessed by your podcast. Just last night I decided that I had enough summer tops so I was going to start some fall knits.. you had so many wonderful suggestions and now I'm conflicted.. Needs vs. Greeds 😂❤
Loved it as always! I found the Tynn Line really splitty too but haven’t tried the line yet. Can’t believe I wasn’t following you on Instagram!! Sarah did a great job on the latest reel!
Thank you! So fun!❤
Lovely to see you again ladies xx I made the sabai top and had the same problem with the depth of the armhole, I seamed a few stitches on the bottom of each side together, hope that makes sense, and it made it a lot better for me without really affecting the fit xx Look forward to seeing you again soon xx Katie you are blooming xx
Great tip! Thank you!
Another lovely podcast! So glad that you’re using your knitting studio now. Kaitie, how do find time to do any knitting at all, with 2.8 children, a house move imminent and heavily pregnant? Deep respect! You’re both fun to be with, see you again soon
I’m really loving these podcasts so much!!! Love when I see a new one pop up and get so excited. Your knits are lovely and you both make me laugh. I’m also knitting two different socks from Summer Lee’s sock book and that’s what knit while watching you ladies. Happy Knitting, Kathy
I’m with you too I love knitting. I can’t figure out how to knit and garden at the same time. 🤔🤔
Thanks for sharing all your knits, yarns and future knits. I so enjoy spending time with you both.
What a sweet visit with you. I live not too far from Louisville. I’ve heard of Over the Next Row Knits. I’m excited to check it out
Yes! It’s a great store!! Definitely check it out! ❤️
When I knit a bottom up sweater with the sleeves separate knit flat, I knit both sleeves at the same time on circular needles, each with their own yarn ball. That is the only way I get my sleeves the same 😅
Such a good idea!!!! I’ll be doing that next time for sure.
Just found your channel. Loved the episode.
Awesome! Thank you!
Iv just found you girls and I really love you both and your content, thank you so much.Ani 🍓
Welcome!! Thanks for joining us!
Another wonderful episode! Thank you for sharing your lovely knitting!! Concerning your joint Ravelry projects...I wonder if you could save time by putting a link in your Fruitful Hands projects that would take you to your personal project page. Then you wouldn't have to type everything twice😁❤
That's a great idea! Thank you!!
Hi Ladies, love your podcast! Because I am originally from Louisville, I can understand every word you say! I have started to go back to your first videos and listen to all, are you near Lexington? I also lived in Berea and worked at KSP Richmond for some time years ago. What are your favorite yarn shops in Louisville, we plan on visiting this fall!! Love you all!
Love this podcast. So many projects and such beautifully knits.
If y’all make it to Little House of Yarn in Princeton IN let us know and we will stop in to meet you! They are on the PURL Indiana yarn crawl. 💕
We will definitely let you know!
Thank you so much for a wonderful time knitting together with you! It is so fun, relaxing and full of inspiration ❤ I feel the same about my knitting, it really is theraphy ❤ Blessings from Norway
I'm so glad! Thanks for joining us! Happy knitting!
I found your channel last week and I love your podcasts. I started knitting this year and only have 2 projects done. I just casted on the Sabai top and you’re the third person I have heard mention about the arm holes being too low. I’ve put it on hold until I can figure out how to adjust the pattern to fix that.
Wow welcome to the knitting community! Looks like some people have seen the arm hole closed a bit at the end or you can just stop before the pattern suggest to make it shorter! ❤️ happy knitting and thanks for watching!
I was especially interested in your assessment of Tynne Line. I started the Salty Air Tee with it and became very frustrated with the splitting. Then I made a mistake in the lace and have to rip back. It's in time out at the moment until I can face ripping back. I really wanted to love this yarn but so far....not so much.
So happy to make it to a Live. Love you both and look forward to all your beautiful makes ♥️
Thanks for joining us! - Kaity
Kaity, so sorry about the sleeves. Next time try 2 at a time like socks. Blessings!
Such a great idea! I will definitely do that! I'm hoping that blocking will fix it! - Kaity
Did the Cloud with Tyne Line held double and it split all the time. Love the outcome tho💚
Good to know!
I packed yarn for 4 sweaters and 3 pair of socks for my two week vacation 😂 You just never know, right?!
Yes!!! You never know what’s gonna come up!
Always look forward to yr podcasts 🎉🎉🎉 😅😅😅
Thank you! - Kaity
The hot days are just awful. Well where I live anyway, it’s dry, so not affected by the higher humidity, but it’s been as high as 116 here where I live. Just slightly north of the California border into Oregon.
116! That is so hot! Hang in there!! Happy knitting!
Two at a time sleeves is not that difficult and solves the consistency or alike issue 😀
Thank you! I will be doing that next time!! ❤️
Love the iPad case, where did you get that?! ( Diana’s case) 😁
The Apple Store 😊
