I averaged 247 in qualifying at a pro-am back in 90s. Finished 3rd overall. I have to admit the lanes so favored me. And being one of the few lefties, that helps big time. No question. Changing balls too much can get into your head if things keep going sideways. Sometimes it's the mechanics that's gone south not the oil.
