This video is awesome! Thanks so much, your giving real advice to problems real people have. A lot of financial channels feel too similar and unhelpful to someone who doesn’t randomly have 30k lying around to start investing with lmao

You are so kind, Jasmine. Thanks for that comment as these comments make these videos worth it for me. Also, as I'd like to be more accessible to my RUclips viewers, I am now having free quick chats. So, if helpful, would you book something on my calendar: calendly.com/ben-tejes-ascend/free-chat? Thanks - Ben

Nice job. Our problem is that the debt was given to an attorney, so any offer we make just adds to the debt. We are trying to help a cousin who is elderly and ill. We made an offer last July and thought it was settled, but they added another $2,000 in attorney's fees since then, so she owes more than she did then. After 9 months the attorney came back to us and said that the (condo board) creditor had rejected the settlement....more fees. We are now trying to put together an offer but I'm so anxious about it because if it's rejected our cousin is in an even deeper hole.

Oh no, I am so sorry about that. Is your cousin judgment proof though, meaning that even if they did get a judgment then they wouldn't be able to collect? Do they have any assets or anything? I'm wondering if you could use that as leverage in the negotiation. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks - Ben - Oh and if it's easier, feel free to give me a call at 833-272-3631.

I currently have debt from unpaid tuition (5year sold) but they now have said they will deplete my bank account feb 1st. can I still settle? it's $21K, I don't have that money, nor is a payment plan really feasible. I was hoping to settle for $7,000. Is this possible

If I’m on SSDI & all my accounts are in my name only but I’m married, can the lenders still sue me or summon me by considering my wife’s income as well?
