I read some tweets under Steel Wools recent tweet and only a couple dozen people we're hella salty and going all like dude you weren't even here for the whole eight years like yea no shit dude Scotts the one who made Fnaf lol
@@aroonus1050 nah bro it shouldn’t because if it gets banned then the terrible twitter users are gonna switch up the app and soon they’re gonna go to RUclips soon
I've never been so disappointed in a community ever. I'm not trying to send any hate at all to anyone but it's just sad. I play FNAF games not for the gameplay, but for the lore and story. Back then, it was ok to put out a theory or two and people would either agree or disagree, but there was no hate. Nowadays, you can't even put out a theory or else you'll be sent death threats, have your name all over Twitter and have you address leaked so people can dox you. As for the whole Scott situation, I'm not a member of the LGBTQ community but I do think that Scott shouldn't have been sent all the hate he got. I understand why people were upset, but he's done so much for us and it's like we all forgot about that. I will always support Scott and his family no matter what. But like Max said in Stranger Things, "Ever since he left, everything has been a total disaster." ( P.S I don't hate Steel Wool or Security Breach. I respect Steel Wool and I'm one of the few that like Security Breach.)
Sb was not as good cause ppl were demanding it to release and if the community wasn’t like this they prob have more time and more time = better quality
I agree with everything u say, and also tbh I get annoyed how much hate fnaf security breach got, I heard people say it's not scary enough and it's too cartoony, yeah sure it's cartoons but what do u except, it's literally a huge kids pizzeria, I enjoyed the game too, I'm still loving it and I'm excited for the dlc. Also I'm part of the lgbtq community and I see no issue about what he used his money, it's just what he thought was right, he isn't against it he supports the lgbtq community, and I will still support him, I also have been part of the fnaf community when I was really young, but I am gonna still be into it, I really love fnaf. Hopefully this makes sence I kinda ramble on lol
It's official. I hate FNAF fans now. I've been aware of Scott's retirement for a while, and the fact that people would hate on Security Breach for understandable reasons. But to go so far as to threaten and doxx Scott as well as attack people who A) mess up the lore, B) disagree with their opinion, or C) just plain say something they don't like is offensive and wrong. Honestly, even though FNAF will never truly end, I'm kind of wishing that it would just so that all the toxicity can stop or at least cool down.
Fnaf VR should have(in my opinion) been what it’s advertised as. A nice homage to the series with a bunch of mini games. No extra lore needed honestly. Fnaf 6 is what as everyone said, should have ended the franchise. I have no clue how to end this or put this, but the new FNaF game was obviously over ambitious for a small company like Steel Wool to being a name a lot of people never knew to the future of FNaF, I honestly feel bad for the devs by now. I wish the game was smaller in scale. Astral Spiff was the main reason so many people stuck with the game, it was fun broken when you weren’t trying to play intended. I hope they can fix it with the dlc and maybe even bring it to a close. I hope Steel Wool does well. Take as long as you need to make this good, we need positivity.
Hell. The newest fnaf Game Theory could be a big part of the DLC and could in some ways, save a bit of the story which was clearly unfinished even by 2021. I hope developers now that they can let ripple be right, I hope games came take a step back and account to what their team is capable of, Riot and Fortishe is a good example.
The new FNAf game is the best one in the series in my opinion and if you attack me for thinking this Then you would definitely prove me right when I said that this is the worst community
@@applesaretasty2.099 I respectfully disagree with your opinion, I really liked FNAF 6 for it's pizza sim elements(and the fact that it's free.99 on PC) however I did like SB when I played and while it does have a few bugs I can definitely see why a lot of people call it their favorite game in the series
To be fair, despite its issues, Security Breach did attract a new wave of fans. Before SB, I basically viewed FNAF as a series of silly jump scare games, but following the release of SB I became so enamored with the Glamrocks and the setting that I decided to go back to check out the older games and delve into the lore. If it hadn't been for SB, I would never have fallen in love with FNAF.
I've been a fan since the very first day and while SB may have a lot of issues, it was like a breath of fresh air and made me get back fully into FNaF. I'm glad you got into the series because of it! I do love the addition of Roxy and Monty to the main crew but I miss Foxy and Bonnie :(
Big agree, I’ve been actively following this thing since 2012 but security breach and it’s community of new fans I prefer so much more than the one I grew up with, it seems so much kinder and more creative
I’m on Scott’s side he’s done an amazing job and shouldn’t be shamed for retiring. Also I agree that security breach isn’t the best but we’re still gonna have a dlc and that might change things.
No one’s shaming him for retiring, they’re rightfully shaming him for donating huge sums of money to racist, homophobic, and sexist people who are actively harming and oppressing marginalized people.
@@maxineschultze922 No they aren’t. Slandering people because of their political views is despicable, and shows your intolerant character. People like you are exactly why this country is in such a divided state. Republicans aren’t racist. Neither are Democrats. Saying otherwise makes you a bad person. You have no idea what Republicans believe. I’m a proud republish, and I value the rights of all people and respect people with whom I differ. You, obviously, do not.
This is why I say fnaf community is actually worse than almost dead horror game community (like Andy Apple farm, little nightmare, and Mr.hopp playhouse) The community is always making controversy while those games I say have least controversy or even I haven't heard of it yet
FNAF is still a great series, despite the controversies and all. I'm not going to dislike FNAF just because of some toxic people on Twitter (+ other social medias). And nobody should do that imo. The game shouldn't be compared to it's community. The games are amazing and the devs are awesome, that's what matters to me. I will support FNAF and Scott (Steel wool too) no matter what 💙🐻
Well other people like me will still compare this game to it's community, and anyone else can compare any other games that has bad communities will compare It and you tell anyone else not to do it.
I wonder how Scott's reacting to all of this. Probably with a lot of disappointment, and maybe even a bit of regret (don't know why on the last part, though. Just a gut feeling).
If he has regret its because of the way people are acting towards each other in the fnaf fan initiative. Stealing footage and ideas of games to leak as a threat, stupid drama between RUclipsrs. I mean I'd regret making the fnaf fan verse if this is all that's gonna come out of it besides games.
As someone within “the LGBTQ community” I have to mention Scott, he simply donated to the candidates he thought might run the country well. Yes some donations may have been questionable or even harmful, but not all of them. And there is 0 right to involve his family in any of this. He admitted to his mistakes and that’s what matters to me. Ofc you don’t have to love him or completely forgive him, but fnaf is more than just Scott.
as someone who is also gay, scott donated to people who probably want me dead. i dont forgive scott for supporting people like that but his family had nothing to do with it.
@@justanothercomment first of all let me start by saying my issue is with the lgbtqabcdefg alphabet mafia aka the whores of the gay community the ones who have to shove THEIR religion down our throats or threaten us with "cancelation" so welcome to the alphabet mafia where if you dont do or say what we WANT you to we will ruin your life cause we are just that petty and entitled and we MUST be the center of attention and acceptance at ALL times or you know you just tell the clown to go ** himself and his cult oh wait they did a few weeks ago at californias yearly bondage festival and spread monkey pox cause we're also whores
@@justanothercomment Sad that it doesnt matter who Scott had donated to politically, the opposite side has done more to take rights away from LGBT+ folk in certain states than anyone Scott had ever donated to the LGBT+ community has no political allies :(
Solid agree, although I think his choices are dangerously stupid and unforgivable unless he makes donations to opposing sides to fix it. But I very much agree that FNAF is more than him, I still love the games and characters and story
I think what happened to the fnaf community sucks, personally, no matter what, I will love fnaf, I'm not gonna let the actions of the fnaf community with the doxng, attacks, etc, define my view of the game. Scott did a lot of good things for the community, and I'm not gonna let political affiliations make me decide on his opinion as a person. I don't care for security breach, but while I'm more into the darker aspects of fnaf, I'm not gonna leave the fandom because security breach is more for kids, I might not like the game, but I'm not gonna attack people for their opinion. To me, my personal opinion on how to handle the issue of the fandom is to remind ourselves that we need to remind ourselves that people, regardless off opinion, political affiliation, etc, are STILL people. if you dox people because of a disagreement or political affiliation, I don't give a shit, your a shitty person. the reason people liked the fnaf community as much as it did was because of the fact that people weren't attacking each other over theories, and just wanted to discuss. Because everyone is focused on attacking each other rather then having a healthy discussion, it leads to this point My personal allegory of this situation is the thief drama, oddly enough. With fans being more concerned about their idol's stance, and trying to preserve that stance, not realizing it was a completely stupid drama, that even thief admitted as such. People are still gonna hate on thief, and are probably are as of the time of writing this, but while yeah, thief made a stupid move reacting the way he did, I think the way that PEOPLE uninvolved reacted, getting themselves involved, attacking both thief, and kane, viewing both as idols to be protected, rather then just two dudes that had a stupid fight, lead to it being a drama in the first place. Ok, this was a long as comment essay, if you manged to read this far, my personal advice to you is to never get into drama just because you wanna preserve some sacrid idol, just because there is a difference in opinion doesn't mean that person is nessicarly evil, and its on YOU, as a person to be mature, and not attack others. drama is gonna happen no matter what, but because it occurred doesn't mean you should toss away all that was once beautiful because of a difference of opinion or some bad apples.
We have to first let people know doxxing doesn't matter, it doesn't make you strong, it makes you an asshole, second like go outside. Edit: if anyone starts a controversy with me first its my opinion second ill prob will not reply with you
It’s funny how someone who has the right to vote a donate to anyone gets attacked to the point of quitting. Did Scott deserve what happened to him and his family being threatened? NO that is the answer. So it’s ironic how because of the community attacking him he left everything to steal wool to finish security breach and that might have let steal wool down the wrong path making a glitchy buggy mess. So it’s the community that made security breach bad by ruining it all over politics. :(
@@CobaltCreations Right? Like, these kids seriously can't handle admitting the creator of a game they like is a piece of shit. The cope is fucking STRONG in this fandom lol.
I think at it's core, the biggest thing dividing fans is the lore. Scott kept making game after game, trying to explain his complicated lore while making it even more complicated. We don't even know who the fuck Michael is at this point and with Scott not explaining anything but making more games, it's just irritating and is why Phisnom left. And because the lore sucks everyone hated Security Breach for not explaining anything, it just complicated everything with the Gregory Crying Child parallel, being so rushed, taking so long to come out. Scott literally just needs to release a book explaining ALL of the lore or make a final game to reveal it all. The issue is we're fucking fed up, we've spent YEARS with this franchise trying to uncover it's mysteries and be honest, we aren't any closer to uncovering the lore than we were when FNAF 4 released. People are just fed up at this point.
We do know who Michael is and it seams like you don’t pay attention because for the past few years he would occasionally say if something was true or not and a book on the lore would lose a lot of players who just played the games for the lore
@@DPHAngelPookz Um I do pay attention, it doesn't matter if Scott ''Occasionally says if something is true'', he never outright said who Michael is, they're all just theories. I mean for YEARS game theory thought Michael was Crying Child and only after ''Step closer'' did he think Michael was FoxyBro (I'm guessing you believe he's FoxyBro) and the evidence for that is weak, parallels between older and younger brothers. And remember, Scott said the books don't connect to the games so why is he suddenly trying to 'hint' game lore in them? If Mike's Foxybro and Crying Child died then who the hell is the bite of '87 Victim? What if Scott just fucked up with the dates and Crying Child was actually supposed to be the bite of '87 victim who *survived* but he confused people with the '83 date. I mean it literally says on the Wiki ''It is often _believed_ that Mike is the Older Brother, though many fans still _believe_ he could be The Crying Child'', it's not been confirmed because even the wiki isn't confirming it. If Crying Child died then why does he have a pill bottle next to him? They don't give straight pills to coma patients so that suggests he survived. If he died the same day he got bit then why does he have flowers, if he just got bit the last thing William would think to do is get flowers. That's more for when someone's recovering. Mike sketched Nightmare Freddy in the logbook but if he's not Crying Child then how does he know about him let alone know what he looks like? And the two souls possessing Golden Freddy crap makes no sense whatsoever. Why would Scott make a game then decide FIVE years later to reveal one of the biggest things ever in a freaking book? Scott had his chance to foreshadow Golden Freddy having two souls before this - the give life mini game where Golden Freddy is shown having 1 body, the happiest day where Golden Freddy is shown as a single child with a mask, he would've revealed it in a game before in a book. And the logbook dialogue between Cassidy and Crying Child, well if Cassidy is Psychic Friend Fredbear and has been talking to Crying Child the entire game, then it makes sense that they're still talking to them after the bite. It's possible that Cassidy changed all the text themselves to remind Crying Child of them, that's why they're saying ''It's me'', they're saying ''It's me, Psychic Friend Fredbear'', your friend. They're trying to get Crying Child to remember them. So if Crying Child possibly never died, then where did he go? What happened to FoxyBro? And you can't even argue that ''Crying Child can't be Michael because FNAF 2 takes place in 1987'' because we know Michael isn't Jeremy. And again, the discrepancies with the game, why is Mike's sprite pale skinned when FoxyBro is tanned? As Crying Child is pale skinned, it makes sense that Mike is HIM and not Foxybro. Scott is so inconsistent and until he outright says who the brother is, it isn't confirmed so no you don't know who Mike is. And honestly the top comment is literally ''The controversies are becoming more complicated than the lore'', maybe ''who is Michael'' was a bad example but the lore is confusing as fuck. Midnight motorist, fnaf 4 'never got solved', that article thing in pizzeria simulator, so much more.
It's like fortnite, people slowly getting tired of the game and the lore. It was good back then, it isn't good right now. The lore is now a jumbled mess and at this point I forgot what happened after chapter 2 season 1

Theft King is definitely one of those controversial people in the community. The guy just stirs trouble with his thumbnails alone and his quick road to fame didn't help either.
The main issue is the community toxic parts and the amount of kids and people that ruin the fun not to mention what happened after with Scott himself it has gone down hill badly this whole franchise and community only things left I will look forward toward are FNAC 4 JOLLY BEES 4 and the joy of creation and also FNAF plus and the movie then that's it
Good idea on sticking to different games, but you screwed up one thing: Jollibees 1 & 2 got canned in 2020 after the creator was contacted by a lawyer of Jollibees, asking him to take down the games for ruining public image, and copyright infringement. However, IvanG is working on Jolly 4, along with his team, and while the Jolly Community is a little rude (like when J4 was leaked), it’s still a nice community to hang with.
Honestly the kids/teens are the best part of the community right now, they’re just vibing and enjoying the games in such an earnest and positive way rather than starting “controversies” by fighting each other in the most ridiculous and petty ways imaginable (*cough* Kane Carter and theft king)
Now there's a difference between milking the controversies dry and talking about them to remind everyone that history doesn't need to repeat itself I'd say this is an example of talking about it to prevent it from repeating
I want him to talk about those almost forgotten horror games like little nightmare I want to hear any real information and not fake or even if there's a controversy I can hear Because I feel like it's rare because they are almost forgotten
I was 10 years old when the first game came out I’m now 18 and I’ve NEVER stopped loving this series it’s one of those series that gave me a childhood. I love the lore, games, creator, characters and most of all i love the fans yes I know they’re toxic jerks out there but if you know where to look the fans of this series make amazing comics animations and songs and even they’re own takes on the story with theories and what not. From the bottom of my heart Fnaf will live forever and so will it’s amazing characters thank you MR Fazbear and thank you MR Cawthon for being spectacular. ❤️🐻 🍕 May we all live in a future where we can love a great franchise
This crap is a part of every community now a days… it suck. But even though Fnaf has its issues, I’ll still love this franchise forever, it defiantly means a lot to me.
Why is FNAF so controversial? It's really not. The community is. I mean, the worst stuff from FNAF doesn't come from the games, it's the people. It's so big for some people, it's made their careers or childhoods etc. It's not even just a game for them. So, they take it extra personal. I mean, rock on ig, far be from me to tell people how to build values, priorities and perspective
I personally like FNAF for what it is, not for what it's meant to be i'm practically a veteran, but even i have my thoughts on a community if this controversial division doesn't learn how to fix itself, then i lose faith in humanity I also like the style of Security Breach, it's probably my most favorite style in the franchise even though i haven't played it, yet im hoping for a switch release Toxic Veterans, who the f*ck has taste in this god damn forsakened planet? if you say "I do" or "clearly not you" then you clearly are not a true fan in my vision, not that you'd care, just cuz i'm 1 in 8 Billion Newcomers, you can like the games in any way you feel
Theft king and sheeprampage are both parasites of the fnaf community and we should band together to get them off the RUclips platform And also THE ENTIRE PLANET. So join me and the fnaf community to get rid of these severe sadistic autistic manchild clowns off the platform.
Longtime fan here too! (Been a fan since the second game came out) Personally, I just like to stay in this little creative space/section of the community away from the whole mess with Scott and the divide in the community. Drowning out the mad screaming with theories, lore and fun concept characters, art and storylines! Don't really understand what fully happened still and why so many people just decided they wanted to dox a man they simply do not like as if that will solve any of their problems. And I don't know what made the fandom so bad that they've started to bully and belittle each other as if one is more superior than the other. I just want to play the game because I have a bit of a fascination with horror games. I want to enjoy the game away from the drama, the stress and the yelling. Though I've tried not to let the fandom ruin the fun I have with the games, they do bother me and I have started to distance myself from even the games now just to avoid those people. It's sad, and though I'll always have a sort of fondness and soft spot for this game, it's just not the same anymore and I don't know how to feel of it. :/
Everybody is so intolerant in this fanbase nowadays imo. Scott Cawthon is one of the biggest Chad's I've ever known, and it's really sad that the people who once respected him started rabidly attacking the poor guy for donating to a couple charities. If there is one thing the community can agree on at this point in time, it's that there is something wrong with it. Something really has to change. I'm a person who thinks that no FNaF game is bad. FNaF World is fun as hell, and FNaF Security Breach is what I've been hoping for since Sister Location released a long time ago. (An actual free-roam FNaF game.) But I'm also not one to crap on somebody's opinion. Think of somebody like Phisnom, Phil has the rights to their own opinions on Security Breach. And while I think those opinions are a bit exaggerated, that's just how they felt and I'm not gonna stop them from feeling that way. But at least Phil didn't brutally attack and curse out anybody who had another opinion on the matter. Man, it's just so disheartening to see my beloved Five Nights at Freddy's like this, and I know there's gonna be that one nerd lurking in the replies of this comment like: "Well, actually! FNaF is a terrible series and if you disagree then your a stupid idiot!" Freddy Fazbear is shaking rn.

@@im_terminallyonline donating to charities that "just so happened to be anti-lgbtq" lmao seriously? u dont have to make weak excuses, just say the guys anit-lgbtq
@@hv9460 not to get political, the Republican Party isn’t “anti-LGBTQ”. No where was it said or written anywhere about that. And even if they did, it isn’t a huge problem, being anti-LGBTQ, doesn’t mean hating the community, just not supporting it. You can’t please or love everyone, that is just life, and Twitter folks who attacked Scott, need to grow tf up.
It’s controversial because a lot of people in the fandom could be toxic and also because it spawned other games like Hello Neighbor and Poppy Playtime that tried to leech off FNaF’s success.
It’s really tiring watching controversy after controversy happen and I wish we could be more civil and listen to each other instead of treating issues with the mentality that there are only two sides to choose from, rather than a whole spectrum of viewpoints. The Scott controversy is probably the single worst thing to happen to this community for the pain it caused and continues to cause and the divide it created in the community (and it’s deeply angering that this information was released not out of genuine concern, but by someone with the express purpose of starting controversy because they disliked the fnaf community.) If I can find any good at all that this awful event brought, it’s that it tested my ability to think critically and form an opinion based on a variety of viewpoints, and try to at the very least understand why people develop opinions that I disagree with no matter how asinine, ignorant, or hateful they are or appear to be (while still of course being critical of them.) Even so, it’s absolutely worth thinking about the good that’s happened even in and especially in times like these, like the fact that the fanverse is happening at all, the incredible songs and animations, the abundance of fangames, and not to mention there is some hella good fanfics out there. Not to be that one “you’ve just gotta be positive!” person, but damn, I think we need to be a little more positive, not that in we ignore bad things that happen, but in that we treat issues in a constructive rather than destructive manner.
No matter what happens in the community I'll always love fnaf, while I am part of the community, I don't communicate much with it. Just because there are a lot of controversies.
The games themselves are starting to go downhill anyway it reminds me of sonic and how they went downhill due to memes and fan service the exact same thing is happening to fnaf.
@@micjimster4845Me being a Sonic fan, you’d think I’d be use to this, I mean even when the trailer for the FNAF movie came out, people were complaining about the animatronics having red eyes, as if this was the reincarnation of some Sonic fans back in the early 2000’s.
The people who threatened Scott should be ashamed. I mean…I don’t like the Republican Party, but I didn’t complain. Scott supported the games, the fanbase and everyone involved. It doesn’t matter if he supports a party we don’t like.
The fact that this community just bit the hand that fed them all these years just because Scott is a Republican just makes me believe this community doesn't deserve FNAF. When this franchise finally dies off the only one that the so called "Fandom" can blame is themselves. But it's Twitter after all. I'm sure these morons are still "REEEE"ing over Scott DARING to live his life. They'll never see what they did wrong and they'll never feel sorry for chasing him off. Absolutely disgusting.
Lefties hate it when Conservatives are creative, successful, and intelligent. It ruins the narrative they often clutch to their chest like pearls that most, "intelligent and creative people" are left-leaning.
i don’t have a problem with him being republican. i have a problem with him donating to people who want me, a gay person, dead. i don’t think i can forgive him just yet, but he doesn’t deserve to be doxxed, neither does his family.
I watched a video by Dawko about some Fnaf vr news and Scott was talking about Fnaf vr and how he play tested things and etc and basically we kinda needed Scott to be behind SB as much as Fnaf vr but I understand that Steel Wool have big boots to fill in and It's not easy to satisfy everyone even Scott couldn't do that, you can't satisfy everyone but at least majority of people can be satisfied with the content Steel Wool produce, if they listen more to the community
Scott was fully involved with SB and he remains as the head of this franchise, he just doesn't have an online presence anymore. The reason SB turned ot the way it did was because of other environment conditions such as the overexpansion of the game, rushed release date, etc.
Tbh I feel like Scott is the best indie game developer I mean come on looking at foxy staring at you from pirates cove to the classic it’s me the memes/jokes now were at security breach which looks mwah.
The Scott era of FNAF games was the best era. Help wanted was alright, but was kind of cliche with the 'afton coming back', and security breach, bugs aside, still wasn't that good in terms of story.
Remember when the biggest fnaf controversy people where talking about was people shipping haunted robots together and the endless amounts of fake leaks? Afton farms remembers
The dlc is already good/(in good hands) because Steel Wool can listen and learn a lot from SB and for the future, all they need is time and they can make amazing work
I still support scott, the fact that half the community doxed scott and pretty much made him retire makes me sad knowing all the good he did. Cancle culture is the worst thing that's ever been created just to go after these people to ruin their careers.

The only thing I have to say about this,is that, knowing the types of people who cared enough to cancel him,if he supported (mostly) Democrats, there wouldn't be any controversy around it.And if there was any,it wouldn't be even close to as big and remarkable as now.
the 1st thing I wanna address in this comment is the story of security breach, people are saying "Why did Gregory not just stay in Glamrock Freddy's room, as seen in the 6:00AM scene Gregory mentions the disappearances of the children, is the layout, I can understand people getting mad about getting lost but it makes you feel like your Gregory, lost, not knowing where to go, lastly is it being targeted towards kids, Fnaf is something that would eventually get out to kids, so them making the decision to cut voice lines that were considered "inappropriate was the right call for children who stumbled upon this, thank you for your time
i think the one thing he missies in this video was that scott was a part of SB. personally I belive every fanbase will end up like this eventually, if the vocal majority is negative, then people will join for the sole purpose being that its a popular opinion, same thing is happening with marvel, I'm lowkey sick of this whole "the creators opinion has to be my opinion" thing, scott doesn't have the freedom with the story he used to have. i belive that weather you agree with him or not, some people lost their chance to be in the right when they doxxed him and harrassed his wife like so many did. i don't see any thing he did wrong, I'm actually kinda proud that he stood his ground even when people threated his pregnant wife, and i dont have a problem with anyone who thinks other wise so long as they properly research everything before making any conclusion. and my final point will be, this community will stay negative if the only youtube videos made are about the negativity, sounds straight forward to me and if anyone wants to share their opinion with me, so be it, as long as its civilized and respectfull
I actually REALLY liked fnaf world especially the ending to do with the good ending from fnaf 3 (which I personally believe is the true ending) and the ending of fnaf 4 also the LGBTQ community are WAY too freaking emotionally unstable, like they flip out at you if you just SPEAK To them (also stop using that stupid “aww this guy is homophobic blah blah blah” because it’s a pathetic excuse and all I’m doing is speaking facts)
(This is just my opinion it's not a fact) I'm being honest I don't support the LGBT because I don't feel like I have a reason too something I hate about when it comes to supporting something and celebrating a holiday is that it feels like I'm supposed to support something/celebrate that holiday. But that's not how I work if I don't support something then I don't support it if I don't want to celebrate that holiday then I won't celebrate it. Everyone else is allowed to support something if you support LGBT then ok I'm not gonna stop you from supporting it but if you're not gonna except my point of view then please go support it far away from me I'm not gonna argue.
I litearly didn’t know about these controversies except Scot cawthown leaving (didn’t know he was being threatened etc jus thought he wanted to retire ti spend time with his family)and security breach(which I thought it was great and the fact that the studio was continuously being pressured by the fandom to release it really says why the game was buggy.steel wool didn’t have to announce a release date tough) I’m just sad at what fnaf has become like I love the games I love the lore,I love the fan creators, theorists.and every once in a while I’m rewatch Dawko, markiplier and matpat’s series on fnaf
You expect every community to be divided nowadays. To be fair I love all the games from fnaf. They were all great. But something about how people will only hate fnaf when their favorite content creator says it's trash, is seeming unhealthy. I understand these people just want to give an opinion, but don't talk about only the negatives about a new game. And people still don't know Scott is still in charge of fnaf, he just does some minor changes.
Yeah I can definitely see part of it being the size of the fandom at this point. Another being that people just seem to blow small things out of proportion a lot more than back then for some reason, but that's more to do with time. Regarding Security Breach, I do understand why a lot of OG FNAF fans were disappointed with it (I personally like it excluding the bugs and comic-style endings) but I'm glad nowadays it looks like you can like it without having to justify why and having people say your tastes suck 😆
I much prefer the community of new fans that have come in because of security breach, their enjoyment of the game is so earnest and they feel much less hostile than the older fans. Their fan culture is much more reminiscent of other fandoms, being focused mainly on enjoying the characters and art and cosplay, and less obsession about being “right” about theories and instead they take the bits of lore we have and use it to create their own stories and AUs. It’s really cool! I’ve been around since 2012 and could be considered an older fan but I much prefer this new side of the community. Also the drama between theft king and Kane Carter is so fucking stupid, none of the things they said to each other are even worth as much hate as they’ve gotten because it’s all so petty and frankly childish.
@William Afton You guys always say oh it ended here it ended here but nobody goes on a explanation, I think the series ended character wise with Henry gathering crying child's friends into Fredbears family dinner which is Fnaf 6 and burning them all, also the series ended at six but that doesn't mean it had to stop that's were people get pissy pants because Afton is back but only by default because Glitchtrap made Vanny/Vanessa fetch him a new body and plus Afton is still suffering he's basically dead the only thing alive in Burntrap is Glitchtrap and people think crying child's friends didn't die in Fnaf 6 but they did and the Blob only has all the older mask because the Blob started out like the stitchwraith by collecting parts and getting bigger and it's even more obvious that the Blob stole the old artifacts to older characters is because in front of the green rooms you can see that some display cases are empty and the recent missing kid's are in the Blob the Henrys plan basically did work
To be honest I wish the community was the same as what it was back in the day I miss those days matter of fact I'd say that those were the best years of my life
Scott gaining hella more money for future games, hella RUclipsrs like Dom Studio's on the rise, fans that are six years old are going to grow up with Fnaf being a full free roam game which is not what we grew up with and I find that amazing
@@chols3114 And if Steel Wool didn't get hell of ambitious after they changed the story hella time's and making the mall bigger and not focusing on the right things and then Sony forced them to release it because they were tired of the delays and Steel Wool were not ready to release the game even executive producer Ray McCaffrey proves it🤷🏾♂️
*sighs* at this point, maybe I should just leave the fandom, it's just going to keep getting controversial, making me just want to leave the fnaf fandom. The reason I didn't is because I met some really nice people. Idk if I should or not, I want to leave the fnaf fandom but I don't know. 😥
You don't have to leave the fandom, it's not really necessary y'know. We shouldn't compare a game/series to it's fandom imo. Especially if the games are amazing and the devs are good persons. Plus there are many good people in the fandom. You just haven't met them yet :)
I don't blame you though, I never like the fandom myself from the times I remember the fandom being cringe from seeing some of the cringe stuff from the fnaf fandom. Until I start to noticed the fnaf fandom was getting very toxic! due to seeing some of the fnaf fans being toxic over some people not liking fnaf which I know in fact The toxic fanbase cause me to hate fnaf and I still will always will hate it! well even though fnaf security breach is the only fnaf game that I like and enjoy though While the other fnaf games are crap to me.
I enjoy it as a show both with the games and the outside community/drama. Only game to get my interest was Security Breach. The core games just aren't my cup of tea in gaming.
The problem being that people are too sensitive and it’s going to get worse to the point where this community and all the other communities are going to be ripped to shreds
the main problem with fnaf is there was a lot of hidden lore but it never matches.... people thought there was working lore and we see the pieces while in reality, it was on the go... as such the fandom was never whole resulting in so many hate from the start
I don't even want to watch this video it makes me so depressed. Scott did nothing wrong, absolutely nothing. Fight me if you want I'm not going to answer I don't care anymore...
Not to beat a dead horse but it feels like the internet as a whole is becoming divided more then peaceful nowadays But back on topic I miss when FNAF was more charming to like without having to worry about a new drama Happening next week. I can’t find myself to fully hate the fan base as much as others but ATM I can’t say it’s my Favourite
Sad to see the community like this now considering I really got into the series when the 4th game released and it was very different and people actually got along instead of wanting to kill eachother over the smallest thing
I hate twitter Scott did nothing wrong He donated to people he thought would do good for the country But they were against LGBTQ+ If Scott knew, he wouldn't have donated to them
@@andreix4025 The lore for SB was confusing now I basically understand the whole premiss of SB and the Tales from the Pizzaplex give tons of more drops and help out a bit for people who are confused, with the dlc it's likely and obvious that they'll tie thing's up lmao and if anything is new I don't think it'll be that confusing, can we just wait and stop doubting it lol
The situation was kind of stupid so I kind of didn’t listen to it but when I heard that Scott was retiring I kinda know why but the same time kind of sad I thought it was going to be a vacation or a break but forever… to be honest I was really mad at the community all the hate has gone to this Scott is retiring forever that makes me sad.
yeah. I look at FNAF and the Alien prequels (Prometheus and Covenant) as being in that same hole of, "We don't have the answers but this will sell hotcakes"
The lore isn't that bad I understand everything because I'm kinda a veteran but something's in the lore you have to look at it from a symbolic perspective like how in SB you get the saving Vanessa ending where Gregory took a bite from a Freddy popsicle which gives crying child vibes and Vanessa on the hill eating vanilla ice cream with a cherry on top which could be representation of Elizabeth afton and Freddy is just a head sitting next to them both which in all basically is symbolism of the Afton children
@@sirfazbear4993 those are literally theories, and bruh I think everyone here's a veteran, ffs I'm in this franchise since the early days Wasn't saying the lores are bad, just saying it can be confusing. Sometimes I still have to Google some exact years of what events happened, not the more well known ones of course
The reason why secured beach was garage because of the fandom the developers of the game was still working on it and the fans want the game out early that’s why
Ikr? It’s just like the time I was in the Voltron fandom… except both of those communities had actual reasons to be pissed and this one is just the pettiest most childish arguments imaginable. It’s so hilarious and lighthearted compared to the actual toxic fandoms I’ve been in
Lets be honest, the entire FNaF fanbase would be doing anything to enbrace Scott to have him give way more focus on the franchise that he has kept alive for over years
4:31 I DO NOT agree with Scott's worldview overall, but none of that baggage matters in the face of a miracle like FNAF (in other words I was ready for Freddy, not extra political debates in the comment section) I don't even care about sending a message, maybe even he'll find the message himself (he's already pro-LGBT christian)
Those monsters deserve their community. A community build on the crazy idea of “insane theories” by a community full of people THAT DONT EVEN PLAY THE GAMES! They are fundamentally flawed, therefore it’s no surprise that it attracts the strangest of people. Btw, how many of them may have beaten a 20/XX mode, or even beaten a night 5.
Fnaf never had controversy in the beginning, some people think it's right to bitch about the stupidest shit these days. For Scott, he's a good guy. I'm sure he's had his faults in the past, but he's proven to be good. Some examples I include: Donating money to children hospitals, giving everone refunds when Fnaf World failed, talked to Dawko when Dawko was having a rough time in his life, he was active in the fanbase, started an initiative that fu ded popular Fnaf fan games to have them publically released, and giving money for Dawkos Fnaf project. I will admit Fnaf has hit some bumps throughout the years, but Scott made it as a last ditch attempt to be a successful game dev. The controversy is either made from false accusations, or from people who have nothing better to do in their life, other than harassing others for no good reason. There will be no other indie dev like Scott Cawthon, and we can hope he will live a happy life that he deserves.
While I am bisexual I don’t think he really meant to harm anyone but he thought that voting and donating to some politicians would help out with the country and not just whatever the heck they’d do to people. I don’t like Trump but I admit he helped with the economy to thrive…at the cost of having to listen to his crazy talks. While I think Scott should’ve looked carefully into who’ve he was donating to, I don’t think he’s a terrible person if he also doesn’t even go out of his way to attack LGTBQ people
Oh, then it would be fine if Cawthon donated to someone who was very openly advocating about taking your rights away right? Surely you’re not a hypocrite.
@@chaosbeam4654 Have you ever paid taxes? Have you ever paid money that lands in a major company or politician's pockets? If yes. Odds are you've supported the same and MUCH worse people than Cauthon has.
Not To Mention 2 More Fnaf Fangame Creators Got Into Some Drama. Ultranite (Creator Of Chompers)- Was Doxing Scott In A Private Discord Server. Radiance Team (Creators Of Fnati And Fnacec Rebooted)-Was Accused Of Being Transphobic, Racist, Ect.
it bothers me that ppl just sum up scott being cancelled as "petty twitter drama". Its not petty when a good chunk of his demographic that *are* queer are upset that the creator of their fave game is essentially anti-lgbtq
We all grew out of playing FNAF on the rip off websites because we couldn't afford the real one or didn't know how to install it, and watching cringy FNAF RUclips videos.
Honestly 1 of if not the biggest controversy in regards to security breach is not only how horribly they treat the sentient innocent instantly loveable child friendly characters that they have created; along with them not having an actual happy ending to the game: for while the FNAF franchise may have primarily released horror themed games and while security breach certainly can have horror elements in it: everyone already knows that at the very least the 4 glamrock animatronics are helpless victims who have been infected by a computer virus and are being controlled by the actual villains of the game; everyone already knows that the Pizzaplex is an amazingly cool place that should remain standing and could maybe even be a “sandbox” for the player to play in with the animatronics; and perhaps other players; etc. and if this DLC is what it appears to be (another example of horrible horrid negative distressing destructive bullshit based upon anger and fear) then now is the time to act and I implore anyone reading this to let Steelwool studios know that they have gone too far!..and need to add AT LEAST an actual happy ending in which the animatronics are saved and the Pizzaplex is left intact…I personally will not be buying the game until they do. In fact I have sent Steelwool studios an email asking them to make such an ending in which nothing horrible happens to any of the animatronics; the pizzaplex is left intact; and the player frees and saves all 4 of them instead: if anyone else would like to send them an email as well all the needs to do is go to the contact section of their website.
You're saying that... FNAF World was scary? The reason why Security Breach was "not scary" is because the meat that was supposed to change the vibe was cut. Missing Children? Cut. More focus on Vanny and buildup to Peepaw Willy? Cut. An entire section where Freddy turns on you, while still claiming to be your "friend"? Cut. All cut for time.
Ugh. This community is more toxic than Twitter. Most of it is. I think i'll need to move away from fnaf as a whole. And I will still watch game theory videos on the lore. Cuz I'm invested in the lore. I just can't handle the community. And its basically the same with poppy playtime. I don't even trust anyone anymore. No one. Not even friends. Now. Its time I leave this community. Either forever. Or. Temporarily. This cat needs no toxicity to live. Ok maybe a little. But I will leave the room of fnaf. Now where's the door?
I'm a firm supporter of Scott, Its kinda ironic that the party of "Diversity and tolerance" canceled him for his opinions on politics. Its extremely petty. The Low IQ, ultra sensitive, adult childs out there need to grow up. I guess their only after diversity of skin, and not diversity of thought. I hope scott just lets all this blow over, lets everyones low attention spans run out, then just never hand fnaf to anyone else and silently unretire.
I'll be honest. What a man does with his own money is his business. I really don't see (outside of TDS and such) why anyone would be upset about his donations.
I don't get why people get offended by fucking smallest thing. I thought I was sensitive but those people are waaaay worse than me, not to mention that their brain is filled with pure stupidity.
Sheep rampage please do a video on sonic's ups and downs and why even after the 16 years since sonic 06's release people hate on sonic pls I like sonic as much as fnaf or minecraft so please do a video about this more people need to know pls 🙏
Honestly, I always thought the whole series was a mess. The first three games had my attention story wise and the gameplay and atmosphere was uncomfortable and stressful. But I think it was going down hill with the fourth game and I would mark that the start of the downfall. Gameplay wasn't that much different, but my god did it mess up the lore and story. Then those novels and Sister Location, man was that a mess. That just got me to the point of going, "Man, I wish I cared." Whenever a new game came out. Although I think SB is great for the soul reason that it's funny seeing people find new was for the game to glitch out, bug out, and just fuck around and find out. Just, amazing how Markipilier and CoryxKenshin manage to beat a boss fight by just sitting in a corner.
@@gameranonymous2389 I'd argue that all of this would've been avoided if Scott didn't take plot points from Game Theory and the guy that said the animatronics were made by Nazis.
@@higueraft571 I mean a bunch of toddlers today use tablets, so it's not completely impossible that someone at the who's older than a toddler at the age of 4 maybe had a tablet to watch gameplay or watch it with an older family member, or maybe they even played it
Kinda due to fans becoming toxic to one another and well I just find it stupid to cancel someone over politics as they seem to ignore that Scott has made other donations then just the politic donation. Well yes FNaF VR was kinda meant to be homage it still had a bit of story with Glitchtrap and what not. It is just sad that SB they kinda rushed the game for release and decided to go with a more kid friendly approach and kinda left the horror feel that the other games had. I feel with SB they changed the story in mid production after they showed the trailer (Not the short teaser the actual trailer) as it felt like Vanny would have a bigger role as well as Burntrap as there are missing lines that are not even in the game and there was mentioned in the short teaser about Gregory having friends indicating that Gregory did came with friends and wasn't homeless originally. So why change the story? It seemed like a more full fledge story then what we got and plus it also same like Vanny's insanity from being mind controlled would have more of an impact. I do like SB but it is still sad to see it be cut. I mean the game is rated T for Teen so there is so much more they could get away with. I still love FNaF I just try not to get involved with all the controversies and try to avoid the toxic fans. In 2018 the community was still somewhat welcoming and now well. I have seen it drive other people away from it having some people say they are done with FNaF for good (Due to the pressure from the fans) and if you don't have the same opinion as some of these fans you will get attacked over it even though they really should not care what your opinion is. I don't blame the franchise. Just the fanbase and how FNaF is being handled now. I am concern for it's future.
The controversies are becoming more complicated than the lore
You're right

But like Max said in Stranger Things, "Ever since he left, everything has been a total disaster."
( P.S I don't hate Steel Wool or Security Breach. I respect Steel Wool and I'm one of the few that like Security Breach.)
I think its just twitter that hates sb because classic twitter

Finally a man of culture 🧐

I also think the Movie is in good hands from what I’ve heard
Nahh lol Altra ain't really put that much into people still staying at least from the people I have communicated with

Because everyone is focused on attacking each other rather then having a healthy discussion, it leads to this point
My personal allegory of this situation is the thief drama, oddly enough.

So it’s ironic how because of the community attacking him he left everything to steal wool to finish security breach and that might have let steal wool down the wrong path making a glitchy buggy mess. So it’s the community that made security breach bad by ruining it all over politics. :(

@@TankHardcheese I mean right? lets be as "horrible" as him and threaten his family and dox him! Lets go guys!

@@andreix4025 I agree, the community really got toxic during SB
Theft King is definitely one of those controversial people in the community. The guy just stirs trouble with his thumbnails alone and his quick road to fame didn't help either.
The main issue is the community toxic parts and the amount of kids and people that ruin the fun not to mention what happened after with Scott himself it has gone down hill badly this whole franchise and community only things left I will look forward toward are FNAC 4 JOLLY BEES 4 and the joy of creation and also FNAF plus and the movie then that's it
Good idea on sticking to different games, but you screwed up one thing:
Jollibees 1 & 2 got canned in 2020 after the creator was contacted by a lawyer of Jollibees, asking him to take down the games for ruining public image, and copyright infringement.
Uhh… I’ve got some bad news about FNAF Plus recently.
Now there's a difference between milking the controversies dry and talking about them to remind everyone that history doesn't need to repeat itself I'd say this is an example of talking about it to prevent it from repeating
Exactly just stop talking about it and let it die out we already talked about it 80 times

Why is FNAF so controversial? It's really not. The community is. I mean, the worst stuff from FNAF doesn't come from the games, it's the people. It's so big for some people, it's made their careers or childhoods etc. It's not even just a game for them. So, they take it extra personal.

Hello? Based department?
Longtime fan here too! (Been a fan since the second game came out)
Personally, I just like to stay in this little creative space/section of the community away from the whole mess with Scott and the divide in the community.
(An actual free-roam FNaF game.)
But I'm also not one to crap on somebody's opinion. Think of somebody like Phisnom, Phil has the rights to their own opinions on Security Breach. And while I think those opinions are a bit exaggerated, that's just how they felt and I'm not gonna stop them from feeling that way. But at least Phil didn't brutally attack and curse out anybody who had another opinion on the matter.

people take the animatronic scary game far too seriously.
The Scott controversy is probably the single worst thing to happen to this community for the pain it caused and continues to cause and the divide it created in the community (and it’s deeply angering that this information was released not out of genuine concern, but by someone with the express purpose of starting controversy because they disliked the fnaf community.)
If I can find any good at all that this awful event brought, it’s that it tested my ability to think critically and form an opinion based on a variety of viewpoints, and try to at the very least understand why people develop opinions that I disagree with no matter how asinine, ignorant, or hateful they are or appear to be (while still of course being critical of them.)
Even so, it’s absolutely worth thinking about the good that’s happened even in and especially in times like these, like the fact that the fanverse is happening at all, the incredible songs and animations, the abundance of fangames, and not to mention there is some hella good fanfics out there.
Just because there are a lot of controversies.

i think the one thing he missies in this video was that scott was a part of SB.
personally I belive every fanbase will end up like this eventually, if the vocal majority is negative, then people will join for the sole purpose being that its a popular opinion, same thing is happening with marvel, I'm lowkey sick of this whole "the creators opinion has to be my opinion" thing, scott doesn't have the freedom with the story he used to have.
i belive that weather you agree with him or not, some people lost their chance to be in the right when they doxxed him and harrassed his wife like so many did. i don't see any thing he did wrong, I'm actually kinda proud that he stood his ground even when people threated his pregnant wife, and i dont have a problem with anyone who thinks other wise so long as they properly research everything before making any conclusion.
and my final point will be, this community will stay negative if the only youtube videos made are about the negativity, sounds straight forward to me

I miss the good old days
By the way I’m not trying to make hate to the Community i’m just ranting

I feel sorry for Scott, can u imagine how terrifying that was for him? To get threats sent to you, just.... he didnt deserve that
As if the fandom wasn't messy enough, god damnit.
Plus, let's be honest here, nobody knows the full lore lmao
@@sirfazbear4993 those are literally theories, and bruh I think everyone here's a veteran, ffs I'm in this franchise since the early days
Wasn't saying the lores are bad, just saying it can be confusing. Sometimes I still have to Google some exact years of what events happened, not the more well known ones of course

Ikr? It’s just like the time I was in the Voltron fandom… except both of those communities had actual reasons to be pissed and this one is just the pettiest most childish arguments imaginable. It’s so hilarious and lighthearted compared to the actual toxic fandoms I’ve been in
Imagine someone hired Scott for the sole purpose of voice acting for a still in development horror game
Lets be honest, the entire FNaF fanbase would be doing anything to enbrace Scott to have him give way more focus on the franchise that he has kept alive for over years
More recent years have been really rough to Fnaf
4:31 I DO NOT agree with Scott's worldview overall, but none of that baggage matters in the face of a miracle like FNAF (in other words I was ready for Freddy, not extra political debates in the comment section)
I don't even care about sending a message, maybe even he'll find the message himself (he's already pro-LGBT christian)
He donated to Dawko's LGBTQ pro and mental health help for the youth charity stream so I don't really think he's against LGBTQ but idk
Scott's donation controversy just showed how agressive LGBT community can be. It's hard to have an unbiased opinion after this.
@@chaosbeam4654 I would be upset, yes, but I definitely wouldn't send death threats to him and his family.

FINALLY A SANE PERSON IN THIS GODDAMN COMMENTS SECTION THANK YOU!!!
All the people defending Scott are straight men from what I’ve seen
Honestly i think it’s only going “down hill” because you can only make something so long before it gets boring, not only that but it feels repetitive.
I blame the underaged kids that came into the party late
that's why security breach is childish asf and not scary
You're saying that... FNAF World was scary?
The reason why Security Breach was "not scary" is because the meat that was supposed to change the vibe was cut.
Missing Children? Cut.
More focus on Vanny and buildup to Peepaw Willy? Cut.
An entire section where Freddy turns on you, while still claiming to be your "friend"? Cut.
All cut for time.
@@higueraft571 The Vanessa cut content is so disappointing but I pray Steel Wool do something big

Ah yes, the most oppressed group of all: rich white Republicans. Fuck outta here lmaoooooo.
I'll be honest. What a man does with his own money is his business. I really don't see (outside of TDS and such) why anyone would be upset about his donations.

I hate the fnaf twitter community they complain about everything
FNaF needs to be kinda tidier and less controversial ngl
And none of this would happen if twitter didn't exist
Yeah they should've stayed on TikTok
To think a lot of this could have been avoided, if people didn’t complain about Springtraps jumpscare in FNAF 3.
@@gameranonymous2389 I'd argue that all of this would've been avoided if Scott didn't take plot points from Game Theory and the guy that said the animatronics were made by Nazis.
I'm an old FNAF fan and I'm 12 I'm talking about old like when the first game came out
I don't get why people hating on kids that likes FNAF when they're start liking FNAF since they were children.
So... you're saying you were 4 years old as a fan. Checks out.
@@higueraft571 I mean a bunch of toddlers today use tablets, so it's not completely impossible that someone at the who's older than a toddler at the age of 4 maybe had a tablet to watch gameplay or watch it with an older family member, or maybe they even played it
@@chibi_okami I think when they talk about kids they don't mean like 12 or 10 year olds they probably refering to kids under 10.
