Slept on this game for too long. Ghosts of tabor is great but this game is so polished already. So many things I was waiting for in GoT that are here in alpha running better than some bedrock features of GoT. Really liked Contractor$ when it first came out. They keep knocking it out of the park.

It's a solid gun but it's not powerful enough when you are up against players that are wearing lvl 3, 4, 5 protection.

I always go suburbs for scav runs. If you get to the bearkary quote enough there's a figurine on the table at the front then usually a game case or fossil on the floor able at the he back. Then I go straight to graveyard and there's always a teapot or game case on the main tomb. Then I go camp for any other bits and then I'm outttt 👌🏻

Great video! Quick note, you have the proximity chat off but your mic is actually still on through the game, meaning people might be able to hear you while you can't with them. Just in case you didn't know that, maybe shut that mic down lmaoo

It’s so funny you were racing against time today. I had a scav run with 20 minutes left on the clock. I got side tracked and remembered I had to get out. I shit you not I exfilled with 1/2 second left. The countdowns were almost synced but the exfil count was ever so slightly faster. It was incredible!! 😅😅
This game's actually merciful there, if you hit extract at 00:01 seconds you'll still extract long as you stay in range

New to this game, didn’t have a clue what to do, this video summed up most of that for me. Also I took all the guns off my wall and was spraying them all and left them on the floor and they are gone 😅
You should be able to find them in your item deposit when you load into your hideout next time! But ive def grabbed all my guns a couple times and sprayed hahaha

I recommend going to go visit the houses in palm hill as one of them has a safe which spawns items worth a lot.

Also you can't do tasks in scav mode where you visit locations or pick up npc items, you can however do the task that require regular items.

Starting to think I need a squad. I usually solo everything, but I don't think that's a valid strat in a game like this.
@@richpeltier9519 I’m glad I was able to help you out! The only advice on that would be, if you can do it solo, then you can do it with a squad!! A little stealth here and there goes a long way, so if the squad doesn’t help out then solos might be your thing!!!
Hello I'm new in contractors and Ive been having a lot of fun. I have a question about extraction. I know you can extract with a gun in your hand or an Item in your hand, but can you extract with a full extra backpack? like if I'm wearing a backpack with items inside, and I pick up another backpack with items, guns, etc. and I'm just holding it, will I extract with that too? Can you extract whild holding two full extra backpacks? Or will it just drop? I'm sorry if this is confusing.
@@potato_crunch3702 It’s not confusing at all! And the answer is YES, whatever you have on your body, and in your hands, will follow you back to your hideout.

Simple rule that I found useful, one minute for every 100m you need to run. When you have 8 minutes left on your countdown, you better be less than 800m from your exfil.

Scav is fun I wish that if you do one scab run you can keep going I wish it didn't have a cool down
The longer you are in raid the better. If you get lucky and get in on the earlier timer (30 or so minutes instead of the 18min timer) and stay in looting for the whole time your scav run will be up again by the time you finish selling/organizing your backpack after extract. Or you jump into a contractor raid with the scav kit you got out with and by the time you’re out of that it’s scav run time again 🎉

I have questions.
- You exit with what you have holding in your hands or only in your backpack and weapon slots?
I would've done just like in ghosts of tabor. find a backpack and keep it in my hand, if I see an enemy just drop it to the ground and focus on the fight, then take it back, but you could have 2 backpacks.
- Also, you can shoot other players in contractor mode but what if they are in scav mode? will npc scavs shoot you because you killed a player in scave mode?
- And also, since I never extracted once, after every run, you have to refill food and hydration and I'm running low on these, again since I never extracted once, never made money to buy more supplies, so eventually I will run out.
Is there a thing like in Tabor that gives you free stuff, every 6h, daily and weekly, that I don't know about?
Played this game for 9h. and never managed to extract once.
Inly did contractor mode naked. Didn't even know what scav mode was, but when I first bought the game did that and seen there was a timer and never bothered to touch it again.
This is not ghosts of tabor, npcs actually can aim at you with accuracy, and you can not grab their head and take them like that and steal their weapon...

1. You can extract with everything that is in your hands/on your body- just like ghosts of tabor.
2. If you shoot at any Scav in Scav mode, you will be shot at by all NPC’s (I believe) even if another player Scav shot you first (this could’ve changed).
3. Yes, Maggie (the girl in the Market) gives you 2 daily rations supplies that only cost around $5,000- a grease gun, a couple apples, a bandage, syringe, a backpack, etc. You can actually just turn around and sell all of it to make money!
4. Your health in Contractors and Scav mode is SEPERATE!! So no matter what your health is in bunker, you will spawn in with 100 water/food & 440 health if you go in as a Scav.
Although, your health in your bunker represents what you will have as a Contractor, so you will keep that in a regular contractors game.
5. I ALWAYS recommend bringing some sort of gun in, because Scavs are a little harder, and ALWAYS aim for headshots on Scavs.

You should do something where u bring In your worse gun worst ammo and worse back pack etc.
I'll grab a scavenger backpack and a pistol and do scav runs in Metro. That's a lot of fun and tons of action. Most of the time, it's bust, but sometimes you walk out with lots of gear.

What happens to the gear that you wear as a contractor but then start the game as a scav? So let’s say I’m all geared up, about to start a game but then decide to play the game as a scav. When you exfil, what happens to the gear you were wearing just before you started the raid?
@@rockuka69 It goes to your Item deposit!!! The place where if you purchase something in the marketplace/complete a task it’s where you pick it up. Hope this helps!!

That's a good question! I'm not sure where specifically, but it's in your settings!!
You dont have to tilt the bottles up to drink, and you tossed the beer before it was done. The beer would dissapear when consumed.

When you are waiting at the extract with the 10 second timer counting down, can you still be shot and killed?

I joined my first scav mission with loot from my base. When I came back it was just gone 😥😂
It will show up in your item deposit!! The conveyor belt at the end of your base!!
Hey how did you get the compass?
It's in your settings. Should be under the presentation tab, and you have the ability for 2/3 different presentations of the compass. Hope this helps!
What’s happening if you have a full kit on in your bunker while you join a scav run and you extract with the new found gear? Will that gear you had on previously be deleted or dropped?
Great question! If I remember right it should be in your item deposit when you come back if you don’t put it back before joining a match.

Yo I need help on this game I’m new to vr and not the best at pvp and I just can’t exfil I lost my everything have no money and it seems impossible to do anything now
@@zai7750 First of all, scav runs are where you need to be first. Additionally, go check out my video on a budget guide and continuously run that until you see some success! If you still have struggles it does take some time to get used to the VR world in general.

Are u playing it on quest standalone? How many fps are u getting?
@@bigboss-n7k I play on the standalone quest 3!! And I’m not sure the exact fps, but I use the quest games optimizer for the best looks!! Does it look okay?
Another chill video but you're sleeping on scav mall runs. I go to Trupik on nearly every scav run and more than half the time its been untouched. I've found some of my best gear like the giant tent sized backpacks and the T6 bicep armour vests on the top floor as a scav.
@@captainredmaw I can get behind that- I will sometimes hit Trupiks if I feel necessary- otherwise I’m just trying to get in and out- might be my personality if staying in there for way too long hahaha.

@@stonedout337 You can find them in rooms that takes a key usually. There are a couple rooms in metro that spawn them pretty often too! If you know where any “control room” type of rooms in suburb or dam that you know, keep checking those!

If you see another player scav kill another scav, can you kill them without being agro’ed by all npc scavs?
@@FrothyCape I don’t think so- meaning one guy can ruin it all. Although, they did change some stuff where you aren’t always near other SCAV players so it shouldn’t be as much as a problem. I’d stay away from killing anyone other player SCAV tho hahaha
I have gotten out with a GPU as a scav. Scav is about the only way I'll go to the Mall area

Have you heard of problems with Quest 3 version crashing? I've uninstalled, reinstalled and had 17gb free. Still crashing. Losing full loadouts and scav run gear.
Sorry to hear about that! Thankfully, I havent had any instances where that has happened to me. Maybe it has something to do with your internet?? I'm not too sure, I wish I could help my man.
@@Outrunner13VR it could be Internet temporarily popping out. Its weird, its not even a full crash. I'm in a raid, and it pops me back to the caveman studios logo instantly.

Just started playing this. Got smoked a ton. The scavs are strong. Played a scav last night, found a ton of stuff. 100m from exfil and there were two dead players. Took their shit and had backpacks galore in hand. For next to exfil and got headshot sniped… mother trucker… can’t catch a break. Lololz 😢😂

My first scav run started with brown AKM and extracted with AKMN, bought 2 mags and then accidentaly 400 rounds, but next scav run, got the shitty ak with the drum mag. Lol
Anyone know what the tracker is for? Saw it in the store but can't buy it yet.
@@keithober5278 They are for quests! When a quest says to “mark” an item (such as a semi truck), you simply hold the tracker up to it and let go to place the tracker on, essentially marking the truck.
There is no other practical use hahaha

@@Getgoogly Great question! It should be in your options under presentation. You’ll have two/three options on where to place the compass.

@@dustincriddle you get a 1/3 chance to get each of the backpacks- it’s honestly just a chance of luck and I got it!! I also picked up the larger one in the key room!!!

@@MCOrr-bb3tz You just have to sell items/put up any items that are in your item deposit!! (The conveyor belt at the end of your base). It just means that’s full, so keep selling stuff/putting stuff away from there until it isn’t full and you’ll be good!
Thanks does that mean when I get in my hub I sell guns water bottles ect. I just started the game been training but wanted to go out and try scavenger mode so I put in red submit basket and press sell thanks so much for responding means alot
@@MCOrr-bb3tz you can keep the guns and stuff for future raids- but maybe sell off any extra ammo, extra junk like batteries and stuff that doesn’t seem useful as of right now! Maybe go to my hideout update and see what you can replicate!!
What happens when you don't make the exfil in time? Say the timer runs out. I assume it just kills you? Or does it lock you on the map for like 20 minutes until the zones go back up?
I WISH IT DID THAT. But sadly, that's a no- If you don't make it back in time, you simply die and lose all of your stuff which SUCKS! So always remember to give yourself enough time to extract before the time runs out.

Go to the monitor in your hideout. Click on hideout at the top. Look for the generator symbol. Collect and submit the items required. When you run out of gasoline go to Johnny and buy some more.

@@bradenbutler8809 It’s a room that you unlock in your hideout! It’s 3 wastechips, 3 PC fans, 3 CPU’s and I forget the 4th. It took me a while but I just got mine!!

Don't suppose you know how to reset your account, so now I have got to grips with things I'd like to reset my character and start again, any ideas?
@@NightAgentOfficial Sadly, I’m not too sure about any resetting of accounts, but you start the game with $200,000- that being said, that’s 1-3 rare items that you can sell off. If you’ve already purchased check out my budget guide, it explains more with the trinkets.
Try starting a goal to get $200,000, and then if you’ve already purchased hit that, you’re basically restarted!
My budget guide should help- if you are able to figure out how to make money now, then you won’t fall back into the same trap you did if you were to restart!

I play Scav completely different from you. I go straight to where gun shots comes from so I can hunt Contractors players and steal their loot. I have nothing to lose. And they have everything to lose. Out of 5 raid I might succeed 2-3 times which is way more profit than coming out alive 5/5 just looting boxes.
@@Tienuyan I’ve definitely used that strategy, and I do agree in some ways!! Although, as a beginner player with less experience/worse guns, that 2-3/5 might turn to 2-3/15 yano?

Can anyone shed some light on why you wouldn’t just go immediately rat an exfil considering the limited time and loot? Do scavs share exfils with contractors?

Yes exactly! Scavs join in during the raid that all of the Contractors had time to loot already! Meaning that you are already against others that have much better than you, so its definitely not ideal lol
How do you get keys
The only key I found was on a dead player that my friend killed
@@slinkywheel7535 Good question!! You can purchase them, but mostly they are either found around the map (like that player you got)- or in higher loot areas! Sometimes you can also get them from tasks!!
@ good to know do you know a key saying 2 means because I don’t know but I think at least from a video I seen can open any door right?
My friend found a key that says 3
@@slinkywheel7535 Every key has a name of where it goes to! Such as “police station 2F” this meaning that key with that name would go for the Police station on suburb, 2nd Floor. Every key has a name and what map it’s for!
@@slinkywheel7535 The number also means the amount of uses that it has- put your MICA device up to it to see more details. Each key starts with 3 uses, so somebody has to have used that key that says 2 once already.

I died with a quest key 😅 basically you need to pray to RNGesus that you find 1 in raid or squad up with someone who has the mission and key. What mission is it you're stuck on?
The other day i shot a scav on the top of the mall by mistake (I could barely see on my red dot, but he was shooting at contractors so im sure it was a player scav) and all the scavs turned on me 😭 Needless to say, i got bum rushed and died 💀

I’ve had completely bad luck with scavengers, I haven’t met any friendly player scavengers they all shoot on sight, so I’ve just been doing the same🧍🏽
