- Easy step by step tutorial on how to make the popular Hulk Fist for an avengers style cake. Make sure you put a skewer into the wrist when you're done so when it goes into the cake, it doesn't fall over and support the weight of the fist with some straws cut to the same length as the cake or dowels so the weight of the fist does not sink into your cake.

Hi, this is brilliant, thank you for showing me how. I have made a fist out of RKT, and was wondering if fondant would work to cover it? Im having issues making modelling chocolate, and its not as easy to get hold of here in the uk. (also need it by tomorrow, so ordering it isnt an option either) so i think i may have to use fondant!
Great video can you tell how far ahead can you make this
As far as you want :)
did you have to tint it green or did you buy it already colored?
Hi, thank you very much for this tutorial, I just had a quick question, if I use fondant or sugar paste, will the hand be able to hold up the same way or will it just fall?
Thank you...
i think fondant would work. gonna try it tomorrow and if it doesnt im gonna use gumpaste.
his work is admirable!
Love this video as have a superhero cake to make in November. Can you advise as to how much modelling chocolate you used to make the fist please.
about 5 lbs
Hermoso trabajo, felicitaciones.
Gracias
Awesome job! After this is made can, how long can it before store in the refrigerator prior to adding it to the cake?
+Sandra Castro as long as you want, it wont go bad
To make it as a topping on a cake_ can we use fondant to make the fist?
Did it hard after drying ?i want hand with wrist hold on map
How much chocolate did u use
So awesome! I just love your videos.
Oh yes! My modelling chocolate didn't hold its shape very good, it became very soft. As I was doing the fingers they didn't stay up like yours did. What could I have done wrong making the modelling chocolate?
Can fondant be used to make this?
Excellent video! Thank you so much.❤
Thanks , great tutorial
This is awesome!! Perfect for my son's birthday cake. How long in advance would I be able to make this out of the modeling chocolate?

How much modelling chocolate did you use for this?
+Chantelle Liron about 2 lbs
Great video!! Thank you for sharing your talent!! I made it and its kinda heavy. When you place this on a cake, do you use a cardboard and dowel underneath? Thank you!!
Yes! I put three straws under the fist to keep it from sinking into the cake. I think I mention that right at the end of the video
is modeling chocolate more recommended then fondant
Angelica Bravo it just depends on what you're making
absolutely brilliant!! thank you
Me ayudaras a hacer la torta de Rodri?

what's the tool you are sculpting with? and is there a current source for that brand of modeling chocolate (link goes to unavailable site. Thank you!
Its a sculpting tool that comes from michaels, it's in the clay aisle
Thanks for this tutorial
lol it looks just like a real fist that when I saw the video I thought you pained your hand green thanks for the totorial😜
Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I have to make this hand for a cake for the 26th for my nephew's 3rd birthday and I was really dreading the RKT hand method. So I am soooooo happy you posted this and just in time!! I have a question about your modeling chocolate recipe...I posted this question on that tutorial as well and then I figured I would just ask it here while I was already thanking you! About how many pounds does your recipe make? Would one recipe be enough for this hand or would I need to double it? Or triple it? Thanks again!!
So glad I could help!
Awesome thank you Lizzo
Hi can I use fondant for this?
ipu hoath
I would use a mix of fondant and gumpaste. Fondant by itself will be too soft, with a mix it would be firm.
This is awesome, thank you! Did you use modeling chocolate instead of fondant because you can smooth the seams easier? I'm still trying to figure out when it's best to use fondant vs. modeling chocolate vs. gumpaste.
Hey Deborah, modeling chocolate holds itself up and fondant needs a structure of some sort. A great class to check out is Lauren Kitchens modeling chocolate class on craftsy. She explains all kinds of things about the magic of modeling chocolate and what it can do and not do. I chose modeling chocolate for this because I can build it without holding it in my hands (hands make modeling chocolate hot so not great for me to make figures with because I like to hold my toppers) holds detail better than fondant (great for texturing) pretty much instant drying time. No need to let this hand set up for days to dry, the chocolate hardens within a few hours and ready to go.
Thank you so much!
Uhhgggh
Heh heh eyes
Will this be able to take outdoor heat? I am have a birthday party at a park and I am a bit scared to use modeling chocolate. Please help :(
