@sharkzoo I disagree. Chen is more detailed and technical in his analysis. He goes deeper (sometimes unnecessarily) into the system mechanics than Justin Wong. J Wong is more organic, discerning and concise in his analysis; not quite spelling out everything but more zoning in on the most critical aspects of the fight.
15:40 That’s one sick someback. I actually couldn’t believe Guile is able to bring Cammy’s full health to zero in just seconds. Let alone the fact that it was Punk playing Cammy.

True. As much as I think there is a huge skill/performance gap between USA and rest of world right now when it comes to sf6. Gotta give dual Kevin and knuckledu props for the good performance at dreamhack. Was hoping JB would do well as well
Chris Wong playing Luke like he's never gotten hit by the patch balance. 😂🤣🤣 Chris Wong is too OPTIMAL. The guy is the most consistent player through season 1 2023 then followed by Mena afterward.
@@DD01880 bro, just look at chris's sponser... he is sponsered by fnatic, one of the biggest esport team sponser in the world, that only means one thing. before when chris wong said in his capcom cup interview when he lost, he only practice 4 hours a day and is a salary man, with fnatic sponsering him, i'm not surprised if he can now train 8 or more hours a day on this game, you can tell by also his interview here, he's a new man lol very cocky he said he'll take the tournament.

It's not punks playstyle but Guile would still win the fireball game against akuma. Guile can boom fast enough that akuma can't charge the fireballs so he has to spend meter to break through and it's just not a great game plan.

Nothing really changed from season 1, still a Street Corner Guesser 6, and the same characters are still above the other at that game just glad to see good tournament with good cash price
Did Chun get ANY love in this recent patch? I keep waiting for a buff to her Serenity Stream stance or for her evolution to finally manifest air down Kikokens. It seems like she has the superversion of that but not the basic one. And I am told her air legs and neutral game got hacked to death by the universal changes (though not as bad as Lily)
Whoever told you that was exaggerating I think. Her air legs did get more recovery on whiff, and I def feel this difference, and her cr.MK is more easily whiff punished (I think they brought it more in line with other characters), but they didn’t slow any of her moves down, and they buffed her forwardMP and regular HP and made her OD air legs useful in some situations…..so yes, she did get some love and her neutral hasn’t been “hacked to death”.

@beam5655 Chris Wong is great but his character Luke is nerfed tremendously. 50/50 chance, the outcome can flip either side. I wanted Chris Wong to win CAPCOM CUP X 2023 cause I predicted his 2023 season 1 was the best consistent run ever. Mena was the runner up as the 2nd best player.
Everyone who made Top 8 qualified for EWC but Mena already qualified before the tournament and that’s why they had tiebreaker matches between the 9th place contestants. It’s just so they can have 8 new players qualify instead of 7
That's his smallest problem. Real question is will he ever win a significant tournament in SF6? Since the release of game a whole year is gone and his only successes are online tournaments wins (Can Openers, TNS, Casa and so on).
J Wong on commentery is the best, love his insights!
