I simply will never be able to understand how people can abandon animals so cruelly. How can someone do that to animals? Thank you for helping them.
i know. but some of the people aren't evil. They just can't take care of the dogs for whatever reason (like some people lose their jobs, homes or whatever), so they abandon them. it's really sad and there are better ways to do this, like try to find people or organizations who can take care of them. But when someone is in a desperate situation, they really can't think rationally or empathically. They probably feel just as bad after as we do.

It's true, SOMETIMES that is the reason. But many times it's cruelty.
On average, animals have it bad in the world.
It's just really sad, and you know maybe one day we can convince many of these cultures. But we're not there yet and there is a lot of work to do.
@@phoenixrising5088 not only the Greeks, in my country they even eat dog meat. And we are a Catholic nation, but because our religion is claiming animals have no souls, they think that they can kill, abuse, maim and torture them without God‘s punishment. Really SAD!
Probably a stray dog got pregnant. I dont think anyone necessarily abandoned the puppies.
Now i am seeing 5 lovely puppies and 2 angels ( 2 amazing ladies).
These ladies deserve a award for there outstanding work to saving these beautiful loving animals.
They the ones to make this world a better place.

People that do this to little animals who cannot care for themselves make me sick. They could turn them into a shelter or let a vet know they have puppies to give away.

Around here cats aren't pets, they are considered pest animals that destroy property. I've seen people set rat traps with tuna in order to keep cats from infesting the walls of their home.

Somewhere a mother dog is deeply mourning the loss of her babies. She will never know that they were saved or what became of them.
Except it’s hard to know if this is fake. The puppies all seemed nice and chubby. Not all the puppies were interested in the food , and none of the puppies drank the water that was offered. Hard to know if this is real 🤔

@@kapridaughters6240 Just because they are on the healthy side doesn’t mean they weren’t abandoned. Most likely whoever left them realized they didn’t want five dogs as they began to grow. One puppy was more on the aggressive side trying to bite at the woman picking him up.

Who can Carolyn - who can!!! It infuriates me that village mentality is that way. Lack of education and it goes down the generations. They don't have feelings for sentient beings. In fact I'd go as far as to say they HATE animals. Why they had the adult mother in the first place is beyond my understanding, but maybe they use her as a guard dog. Not a breeding machine because obviously in Greece they aren't worth much monetarily speaking. In my country they are worth about Aust$4000 each!

Exactly. And they already had food in the car? That field had nothing in it. They were driving with dog food in the car and just happened on these clean well fed pups. SMH
You know abandoned could mean they were left there at any point right? They were filthy and didn’t seem well cared for at all
