How to insert bullets in Excel (3 of 5).
• Select your cell, right click and select Format Cells
• Select Category: Custom
• Enter the following in the box labelled "Type:" • @
Here are the exact things you must type in the box:
(1) ALT + 7 = to insert a bullet point (must type 7 with number keypad)
(2) (Space) = to insert a blank space
(3) @ = placeholder to indicate where text goes

Can you do this in Excel 2013? Alt + 7 does not work for bullet points.

HOW TO PUT NUMBERS BULLET BEFORE TEXT IN CELLS?

You can try adding a number then a dash then your comment... followed by ALT + Enter to get to the next line. It's a manual way to do it (not automatic) but can work OK if you don't need many numbered bullets
