Aww so beautiful. I love interacting with any animal. DJ has no idea how pampered and safe that he is. So many are poached in the wild. Rhinos and hippos are my favorites of the big critters.
The Australia zoo is absolutely amazing!! I really wish one day soon I can come for a visit 😊. My favorite animal are the owls.

What a beautiful animal. Here in Michigan in the USA Spring is almost here. It hit 73 today and the American Robins and Northern Cardinals are very noisy! But I love it and don't mind a bit! Take good care

Because Rhino are not very agressive, they have just bad eyesight and charge if they feel threatened. They are more like big puppies if they trust their keepers. Zebra are the polar opposite tho.

As amazing as it is, you also need b@lls of steel when near some of the wildlife. As someone who lives in South Africa and has had close encounters with Rhinos, elephants and cape buffalo (and close-ish with lions), I can tell you that you feel incredibly small next to any one of them. They are amazing creatures and need to be protected at all costs, but also command a lot of respect and need a decent level of knowledge about animal behaviour and communication in order to safely be near them, let alone work with them. The people who do work in close proximity with these animals are a lot braver than many of us could ever hope to be
Dj is adorable
I had the pleasure of spending time with DJ back in July 2020, it was the most unbelievable awesome experience. J was stunned by his massive body. You don't see it in videos, but in real life this guy is huge. It would take at least 10 of me at 100kgs each, to have any chance at a tug of war competition, more likely 20 of me 🤣🤣
If you haven't had a close encounter with DJ, u must do it if you're visiting Australia zoo

Say No to illegal poaching for rhinos horns and elephants ivory and animals fur and help protect and give charities the help they need to catch this cruelties that’s happening in are world please donate to your nearest charities you be making a huge difference to rhinos and the elephants that are such beautiful creatures .
Say "yes" to human sterilization instead. We've really got to start culling the herd so we're amongst the least populus creatures on this planet. Somehow we inverted the hierarchy and put ourselves at the pinnacle, when that's totally wrong.
