  • The Ritz London executive chef John Williams talks about his role, implementing a new kitchen at the hotel and how he and the team have adapted. He also discusses how he has retained his classical approach to cooking with a view to the future and keeping his food focused and current, and how the new kitchen from Exclusive Ranges has helped with that process.

    Beautiful video!
I agree with chef Williams. When I go to London, I want to eat wonderful BRITISH meals in a fantastic setting.
    Thanks for posting.:)

Please boycott this hotel: it is owned by the dictatorial family from Qatar. Apart from all the classics (no freedom of speech, no free press, tortures…), LGBT people are persecuted and women are second class citizens. If all that is not enough, migrant workers from poor asian countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India…) work there in near-slavery conditions , specially during the construction of the infrastructures of the recent football cup. Give your money to someone else. Javi Caballero (Spain).

The ritz is arguably the most iconic hotel in the world, and rightly so, it’s a very difficult balancing act to be current but also classic with a nod to heritage. Rightly so it is a benchmark that most high end hotels hold themselves too, there are probably better hotels out there especially in the Middle East etc, but no one has the true iconic status of pure unadulterated British luxury, pomp and circumstance than the Ritz. Makes me proud to be British.

@@simonlhill-si4sx . So you do not care about supporting a business owned by a dictatorship? Mmmmmm, really? I do not believe you. Let me ask you something : would you say the same thing if one of your relatives was jailed in Qatar for being a reporter, a human rights activist or a gay man? Just say yes or no.
