You really explain it in a way that every beginner in chess can understand! I didn't know the first move yet. However, I had known the basic idea for a long time. The black pawn on h2 is necessary, to not have ...Rxh8+. The study is NOT a masterpiece, because the white king position is not played best in the inital position. There is no need for extra black pawn. For example: White: Kf1, Rh3, Ng8, f6 Black Ke8, Rf8, e7, f5. is a better initial position with one black pawn down... Another interesting postion is: White Kg1, Rh4, Ng8, h2, f6, Black Ke8, Rf8, e7, f5, g3 White wins with 1.Rh4-h7 g3 xh2+ 2.Kh1!! and wins, while 2.Kxh2? only is a draw, because after later Nh8 the knight will captured with check.
8:15 - Why wasn't NxP+ explored? I see a way to use the knight and fork the king away, end up on the 8th row between the rooks where the rook can't attack and the next knight move is another check. The black rook goes down that way too.
Beautiful! Love this one as everyone else! Love the channel, thank you! (PS BTW, I was able to solve this one all the way to end. I'm proud of myself.)
That was incredibly difficult! This was like watching art more than solving a puzzle for me
No one does a better job selecting and annotating these wonderful chess puzzles. I just love your channel.

brilliant combination and tactics... thank you very much.
Such a very special study. Wow.
That Knight maneuver, Ng8- h6- f7+! -h8!! , though. 🤩
What would be the weakness from putting the rook on e3?
The opponent will simply take our knight on g8. Even if we take on e7 we are not winning without our knight.
@@Chess-strategy Thank you for this and for your great channel

that happens when you have a poorly Rook. Good puzzle.
Surprise! The Knight only needs to squares to go to
This puzzle is just masterful
Real tough one!
I love it, too!
Trick Knight😊

Remarkable the power of the Knight..!
Crazy horse!
I don’t think I could have solved this one in a year.
Composer?
It´s stated in the video description. Leonid Kubbel composed this in 1921.
More difficult than normal ? I find normal difficult, so ease up on us slow-brainers , OK ?
My thought! 😞 🙂
