    While I detest speedsoft builds, this was informative on troubleshooting my KA(TM Comp) 1911. I have used some gheto shims(screw with a few M3 washers on it) to give more tension to the Hammer spring. I also ordered some 130% Nozzle springs. it's not fully cycling and loading a new round. someone suggested its a power issue and someone else suggested stronger nozzle springs. I should get a little more power with the "shimmed" hammer spring and the nozzle shouldn't get stuck in the hop unit with the better spring.

    • @ValiantAirsoft
      @ValiantAirsoft  Год назад

      It wears because of the original Tokyo marui design that made its way into current parts. There are interlocking lugs on the outer barrel and on the inside of the slide that run during action. On the TM, it didn't matter because they were plastic. Lube will not save you from the wear.

    I use a high grit buffing compound by 3M for lapping the slide to the frame. It can make the "scratches" look better? It is going to rub the anodizing away either way, nothing you can do about it really. I personally over lap my slides because I KG GunKote my pistols anyway. It leaves me with perfect tolerances and no bare metal after painting. Also, everything is a perfect match color wise after. KG is a self lubricating paint/coating. It is a better product vs CeraKote, IMO.

Cause I grew up playing paintball and like the idea of seeing where my shots go but also giving it that “movie assassin” look. But was also looking at the nine ball outter barrel so I’ll probably wind up just getting the standard 113mm. @ValiantAirsoft well I fixed it with the r604 but I think the r501 frame isn't working with nexxspeed tdc hop up unit as the slide catch is way too tight so I have options now.....
      I can work with the R604 slide with the r501 frame just need to get the fitment sorted and buy a brand new nexspeed tdc hop up as the other is kind modified or buy a new frame for 501 and see if the hopbup unit fits into it better

    I haven't been able to find anyone who knew, do you know if it's possible to add a WE mag well to a TM hi capa?

    • @ValiantAirsoft
      @ValiantAirsoft  2 года назад +1

      You "can" but the performance is terrible. Very low efficiency, cycling issues can happen, etc

    • @IamDylin
      @IamDylin 2 года назад +1

      The WE magwell doesn't fit on a stock TM grip. The grip is too wide. It does however fit on the nineball thin grip but there is slight wobble that needs adjusted out.

  • @threemusketeersproductions4441

    For someone who wants to build their first hicapa, do you recommend the gold match, standard 5.1, or the 4.3? I want something to have fun with in pubs. As of right now I am leaning towards the 4.3 but I am worried about not being able to find replacement parts and upgrades.

    • @ValiantAirsoft
      @ValiantAirsoft  Год назад +1

      I love 4.3 but they have less choices for slides and your inner barrel length is limited a bit. I recommend a 5.1 if you want the most variety of aftermarket slides and barrels. I'm iffy on the gold match due to the angled cut at the end of the frame and they sometimes have weird rails.
      4.3 and 5.1 share the exact same internals apart from the slide length, barrel length, and the type of rear sight they use.
