My down hill slide was in my 50's! Now at 64 I'm using it all. Bright colors and glitter! Everything that is a big no no is a BIG YES for me now!!!!!
I am afraid of being afraid to use colour etc with the passing of time. I hope to be just like you! ( I' m nearly 40)

Watching much later in April - I also don’t worry about expiration dates and I came to the comments to see if anyone complained when you mentioned you don’t pay attention to the expiration dates - you have a sweet group who didn’t. Nice!!💜

The new CaliRay mascara at Sephora is the very very very best one I have everrrrrrr used. It’s a tubing one and as someone who has very watery, extremely hooded eyes, it is the last mascara I will ever purchase!

Last month my left eyelid just dropped, surely it was a process but I realized it only when it started to be hard to put eyeliner on -wich I wear everyday- sooooo bad.

Hey there love your videos! I will be 46 in a couple of months and this winter I discovered Burt's Bees lip butter ( in orange blossom pistachio) and it is amazing! I put it on at night and it makes my lips feel so soft!

Loreal fresh wear is my most favorite foundation. It lasts so well and gives me good coverage without looking too heavy.
Pixi's liquid eyeshadow are beautiful. Don't talk down your 40's (or your 50's for that matter). Your body still works, you are still beautiful, and best of all you are a whole lot smarter.

If you haven't tried it yet, definitely check out the Milani lip mask...there was an avocado one but I think they replaced it with rose.. I have chronic chapped lips and this stuff really softens and moisturizes! For me...it works waaaaay better than the Aquaphor. : D

I recently picked up the Neutrogena Hydro boost hydrating foundation stick in the shade coco to use as a contour/ bronzer, it looks beautiful. It’s a little pricey but I had coupons for it at cvs .
It is awesome. Wait til a 40% off coupon and use a coupon from the manufacturer, it will feel like your paying for ELF

I have the Huda Nude Light palette too, and absolutely love it! I also enjoy Huda Caramel Brown palette as well. I feel I've gotten better with age. Definitely wiser.
Mandy, lately, you’ve been showing the palettes toward your monitor so you can see what you’re talking about, but then not angling it back toward the camera. It’s making it difficult for us to see what you’re talking about.

Blankety is SO good! It the first nude lipstick I really loved! I still have it, too. It lasts a long time. (Granted, I just started wearing makeup again a few years ago. I went a decade without wearing makeup unless I was going out.)
The Thrive mascara is the best mascara I've ever owned. I literally compare every new mascara I try, I compare to the Thrive. Pro tip: do one eye at a time. Don't let it dry and then try to apply another coat, it works best just building to the amount you want one eye at a time.
That is how I build all my mascara, I can’t get a good second coat with anything if it dries the slightest bit
I got the L’Oréal Infallible foundation stick in a bronzer shade and it’s lovely!!
You need the super small silicone spatulas from Amazon. It gets it all out of bottles.

And then you wake up and all of a sudden, you're 62! How in the hell did THAT happen? PS: I'm loving a 6-pan highlighter palette from BH Cosmetics, "Aspen". $6.99 at Marshall's. Yes, I know I'll never find another, and yes, the formula is very soft powdery that will leave traces everywhere to skim off with a damp cotton ball, but I love it! Especially the periwinkle-lavender tone...

At age 52 I can tell you it doesn’t get better but you will come to appreciate the aging process.
And YES a lip sleeping mask is a MUST! Laneige is great and lasts forever - so worth it. Essence is killing it with the 6 pan eye palettes. I hope they come out with more color ways
Doesn't matter that you keep products for longer that you're supposed to, if it hasn't gone bad you can use it
Interesting on your hand it looks like a vibrant coral shade, unique and pretty, on your lips it’s an orange/red shade.
I will try the Laneige pre treatment tip to see if it helps with lines in lips before applying a colour. I found it in smaller size tub (takes me a long time to finish the full size and was afraid it would go bad) at a better price on stylevana.

I didn't buy the ND pastels but I did buy the Milani one. Maybe see if that one is a dupe. Also try the Tacha lip mask. AMAZING!!!!!

I do love my Nabla skinglazing, too. I have it in Ozone and it's so good. Everytime I wear it I get asked what's making my skin so luminous!
Those sculpting sticks by Kiko are also very good. I'm Italian and I'm always pleased to see two Italian brands mentioned in favorites video from international customers.

I recently bought the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette. I really like it! I feel like it's a larger version of the Huda Beauty Light... in some ways. I was able to get it for 50 percent off on Sephoras site. I definitely think you'd like it as well if it's still available.
You should try Neosporin Overnight Renewal Lip Therapy! It’s AWESOME! I have the driest lips ever, constantly chapped and flaky & this stuff almost instantly softens them! It’s so creamy & feels amazing on the lips plus it’s only $7! It’s the BEST lip balm I’ve EVER tried!
I bought the rachh loves highlighting palette at launch. It is probably my favorite powder highlight. I have it in my project pan now, so I can get more use out of before they end up expiring.
I've used that palette almost every day since I got it. That lace shade works so well on my very fair skin. Love it so much

If you’ve ever been on a roller coaster there’s this moment between the top and before you feel the woosh of the drop.down. you’re on the very top and you slowly move down and forward like you’re going down but it takes a few seconds. That’s what happens between 40 and 47. Then the wash drops down. L O L it’s like you’re life is preparing you for the drop. Just enjoy the process because by the time you get to 50 you’re well into the drop and have hit terminal velocity and don’t feel a thing of fear anymore.🙊😂🤣
Mandy, I use my Laneige lip sleeping mask every night before bed and it lasts me just over a year. Sounds like pretty good value to me. 😂

Laneige may be pricey, but it lasted me a year and a half. I use it day and night! A little goes a long way and it is worth the $ IMO. Sometimes I find it at Marshall's for $14.99. I almost stocked up, but it really does last forever and I was worried about the shelf life.
The Lanige lip mask seems expensive, but I only use it at night (because it’s so good)and it lasts a year.
I think the (12 months) is after opening but if it works & doesn't smell bad then what the heck why waste it lol 😆

I'm always hesitant buying something pricey at Walmart or target. I won't buy a pack of underwear but will go to Macy's or Victoria secret and buy 6 for 35.00. I can't justify buying things at stores like target...
Does anybody else have trouble with Natasha Denona eyeshadows creasing really badly on them? I always use my favorite base (Mac Painterly Paintpot which works with all my other palettes) and by the end of the day, my eyeshadow looks awful, half of its gone and turned into a dark line on my eyelid. I can try it with the Urban Decay primer potion. But I really want to love my Glam palette but am currently a little afraid of wearing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I personally don’t get the age complaining… what’s important is health, happiness, family and in general ✌️ peace… the obsession on the staying young thing is just not realistic. If we don’t age, we are 6 feet under😛

I really don’t get the hype with the laneige (spelling?) lip balm…
I felt the same way about Laneige lip mask until nothing else worked for me. When I figure I was paying $10 for Neutrogena Hydroboost that lasted a week and didn't have much in it, $20 for the Laneige didn't seem so bad. Taylor Wynn turned me onto Jellijam on Shop Miss A for $1. It is very similar to the Laneige. Of course, it's not as big but it lasts me a while.
