The only specific product I can think of on the top of my head that I've gotten a compliment on is the Mini Xenon palette from ND. I've also gotten compliments on my lip products every time I wear a red lip in general, rather than one from a specific brand. Can't really think of any other products that I've gotten compliments on.
Such a fun little video! May I suggest maybe making a video next about your favourite lipsticks? Not just nudes, but also pinks and corale and reds and all sorts of shades that you like, I’m so curious.
I distinctly remember the first time I was complimented about my make up: it was right after I had had a color analysis done, and changed basically my whole stash. (You know that "this shade definitely fits everyone!! Yeah, no.) I had for YEARS thought I was just bad at applying make up because it always looked weird and non flattering. Turns out it was just the shades I was using. I have very light skin tone, for example all the IT cosmetic CC creams are too dark for me (sadface). Just changing from black mascara to grey or brown did marvels, I just can't carry the contrast.
I recently got a compliment from my sister on my foundation. I mixed my Shisheido (the luminous one) with a tiny bit of the L’Oréal serum foundation to darken it a bit for my skin tone for summer. They both blend together very well and give me just the right amount of glow. Although, I do powder, ever so lightly, with my Dior Powder no Powder for longer wear time. It is definitely now my summer time holy grail concoction 😂I wish I had your skills when it comes to eyeshadow❣️Your eyes always look so stunning no matter what look you do!!! At 59, with hooded eyes, I have to really have the time AND PATIENCE to come up with a cohesive eyeshadow look. The times people say how beautiful my eyes are, I’m almost always wearing a tarte palette. They might be boring but apparently make my eyes really pop. I’ve gotten some compliments on my skin when I wear my hourglass powder. And any brighter red lip gets complimented
My 2 year old Grandson Ezra compliments my makeup every single day we watch him. LOL Yesterday he LOVED my eye shadow (ColourPop super shock in a bronze color with sparkles) so much that he almost came to tears when I came up from under the water while swimming with him and he noticed it had washed off!!! Lord I love this boy!

Very pretty look! But yes when somebody particularly compliments your makeup it’s fantastic. I had someone stop me last winter, that I didn’t know and tell me my makeup was so beautifully done! And it was really a lift fir my spirits!
I get compliments every time I use my single potted shadows that are glittery topper-type shades: colourpop super shocks (particularly the shade Amaze), Bodyography glitter pigments, that sort of thing. I use palettes so often but I’m trying to remember these singles in the summer because they provide such a great sparkle!
With any product, like the concealer, that needs special treatment, you could put a little piece of tape on it and write "blend as you go". It's particularly good for someone who deals with so many similar items. I believe in trying not to fill my head with cataloging those little bits of information. There is enough to remember in life that is necessary so take the pressure off.
Love that iT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in the Illumination formula! It’s so pretty 🤩 You should try putting Niacinamide on your sun spot, it’ll fade it. It’s worked for my sun spots/sun damage.
Try the Sephora brand daily brush cleaner. As I use my brushes, I just spray a bit of it on a microfiber towel and wipe the brush off. It really reduces the amount of product that stays on your brush and extends the time between thorough cleanings!!
I agree. Daily brush cleaner is an awesome maintenance cleaner. Keeps brushes sanitary with little effort in between washes. Also GSD owner❤️. Love them too!

One way I have found to make washing my makeup brushes a little bit easier is to just wash a few each time I wash my hands when I go to the bathroom in a day.
My daughter used to cry on the last day of school up until she got to high school. Then she was doing dual enrollment and did volunteer work, which kept her busy.
I feel you on the kids being home from school for the summer. Though as I tell you I understand, my older son (7) just took his little brother (almost 5) to his room to read him his current favorite story! These are the moments I try to remember because inevitably there will be more negative interactions to come... Also, you look absolutely stunning per usual! I got compliments last week on a look I call my 5 minute makeup. One was from my dental hygienist, she liked my eye makeup (which was a light brown crease and a cream shimmer shadow, and mascara... that's it) which was so nice. The second person was my dermatologist 🤯 who said she couldn't see the scar in my face anymore from a removal in march, and that my skin looked flawless. Thanks Misha BB cream... because I do have flaws 😆. Still nice to hear!

How about naming your sun spot Dotty??🤣🤣 Mandy have you tried MAC painterly or soft ocher on your sun spots? I find it helps. And I also use a colour corrector depending on the coverage of my foundation.
I have several sun spots and had the dermatologist freeze them off. Cryo therapy, or cold therapy. They turn dark, and then flake off and are gone after about a week.
The one product I get a complement on the part of my face this product brings out gets a compliment on is the Zoeva Cosmetics together we grow eyeshadow palette, I get a complement about my eyes every tine I use that eyeshadow palette
I love that PMG mascara! It looks so good on my lashes! But holy crap, if my eyes even think about watering, it runs. Idk if it’s just me, but I don’t wear it nearly as often as I would if it wasn’t so sensitive to moisture!!

Cinema Secrets brush cleaner is my best friend. If not for it I'd never wash my brushes. If I could only clean them with soap and water I'm pretty sure I'd buy new brushes before I'd wash them all. Lol. I do deep clean them occasionally but I have so many brushes I never have time to wash them all at once.

Try a combo of alpha hydroxy acid at night and vitamin C during the day on your sun spot. Do you use retain A?
