9:19 I was the opposite. I started to learn Japanese language during the lockdown because I've always loved the culture and also enjoy learning languages. It was a nice pastime during lockdown but since life is back to normal, I haven't got that much time to carry on with learning. Anyway, now I'm planning to work in Tokyo. I always tried to find a good way to learn japanese and never managed to do it properly as I couldn't find a good method by myself. Until I found Yusuke's channel. And, thanks to him, Masa Sensei. Both of them are for me the best method to learn japanese, and I haven't got words to express my gratitude for both of them. I found both Shingeki no Kyojin and Kimetsu no Yaiba very difficult. I'm surprised he said he found one a lot easier than the other. Military words are always the hardest for me. 斥候, 哨戒, トーチカ for example. Kimetsu had words like 奉行所 that I had to learn the history of. It also used polite words like 仕る that I never saw.

So, I attended a university in Japan that specialized in languages where I studied anthropology and language. But I am not a fluent English speaker. My English speaking ability is about 50-60% of the native English speakers. I've worked in the U.S. and the U.K. in the past, but I had a hard time with English, especially in the U.K😞

No, we ordinary Japanese don't use てめえ in our daily conversation, except for cocky kids or thugs or crazy. If you use it, you will be cautioned or get into a fight with someone. I DO NOT recommend learning Japanese through anime...
