One thing that picks up my mood like nothing else is painting with the color blue and a favorite flower. Spring is already on the way in Northern California; I have delphiniums in a pot outside which have just started to grow again! Thank you for walking/painting slowly so I can follow along.

Harriet, I finally finished this after three separate sessions. Just wasn’t feeling it and thought I might not finish it. But the finishing touches made such a huge impact! Getting the water proportions correct was most challenging. Yours are way more detailed but I’m happy with my results. Thanks, Harriet, for sharing your exquisite painting projects with us.
